    Hello

    I have a problem with my P10,
    I bought it for 2 months and 4 months ago my
    Carpet * a DVD ROM does strange things.
    When I try to copy a CD for example, it reads the cd source, after I put in those recordable, it starts to burn and suddenly it stops, says ERROR (Event Viewer: error on Controller\Dev01\CD-ROM) and my Combo drive is presented as a 'simple' DVD - RAM on Solution Explorer drive.

    Sometimes it won't read movies on DVD or CD so I have
    to restart the P10 and generally it can read the disks after that.
    So is my faulty drive, the card mother or just me?
    Have been looking for a new driver, but there is just a
    DVD-RAM, no driver for the drive itself.

    Hello

    Maybe the contact of the cable to the controller and CD player is loose. The error message said you it should be good!

    Your P10 is under warranty so bring a call Toshiba and it need to be repaired or a Service partner!

  • Toshiba Camileo H30 problem with conversion of avchd video files

    Hello

    I have Toshiba Camileo H30-camera, how do I convert video files saved in FullHD mode in any format/good quality files that can be read by a DVD player?

    When you left unconverted, they can't even read from the remote hard drive connected to the TV.
    I know that his camera records videos in the form of AVCHD files with h264, but have no idea how can I covert them to any format reasonable and recently used.

    I tried some converters, but no positive effect.

    Help, please!

    Hello

    You can use converter like AVCHD Converter applications.
    This would convert AVCHD files to .avi format.

    But AFAIK the VLC Player should support the AVCHD file format and you could use VLC player to play movies recorded in this format.

  • Camileo P10 - record with door closed?

    Hello!

    Y at - it all the parameters or option to save with door closed (LCD)? I plan to mount P10 bike and record with door open is not better configuration for me. Not to mention that the battery with the door closed, probably last longer.

    Maybe if someone know is - it possible to P20 and P30, and how to enable this option?

  • Satellite P10 - problem with grafic card

    Hello

    At the start of my Satellite P10 - 554 today, the display shows not sorted pixel color around the screen. The message of the BIOS seems completely normal. After the start in graphic mode, from windows XP, the screen keeps being black.

    The hard drive works fine. I checked the display. It works very well.
    I guess that the graphics card (geforce go 5600) is damaged. Any chance of getting my phone fixed? Do I need a new mainboard, or is it possible to replace the graphics card? Where can I get the parts needed, used or unused? How the 'spare parts' cost? Better to buy a new laptop?

    Thanks a lot for your help.

    Steven from Germany, Duisburg.

    Hello

    > Any chance to make my phone fixed? Do I need a new main Board, or is it possible to replace the graphics card? Where can I get the parts needed, used or unused? How the 'spare parts' cost? Better to buy a new laptop?

    Are you sure that the graphics card is dead at 100%? This can be checked easily.
    You could connect the external monitor to the laptop and could check whether the same appears on the external monitor too. If the same failure would appear on the external monitor then the GPU could be really faulty.

    In this case the whole motherboard must be changed and such procedure costs a small fortune, because the motherboard is on expansive parts laptop. You should calculate 300-350 euros

    Then maybe a Council of second hand could be an alternative.

  • Camileo P10 battery compatibility with Toshiba Camileo H-30?

    Hello!

    I have a Toshiba Camileo P10 camcorder and the battery don't want to pay more. I have seen that it is a general problem, so I don't even bother to ask why.

    So, I'm from Romania and I can not find here buying a new battery for this cam. Instead, I found battery for Toshiba Camileo H-30. My question is that this battery is compatible with P10?

    Hello

    AFAIK the camcorder Camileo P10 needs called battery * NP60 * (1050 mAh)
    This battery is compatible with the Camileo P10, P20, P30 HD Pro, pro, S10 S10 P 10 20 30

    The Camileo H30 needs * battery NP120 * so it s certainly NOT compatible!

  • Problem with P10-873 SD Slot

    I'm having a problem with the slot SD on my P10. The problem is that when I insert an SD card, it reads the card and keep reading. Then, the computer stops responding. When the computer finally answers I get an i/o device error.

    Any ideas how I could get this to work? I've had the problem since I bought the PC and tried several SD cards, brand new and very functional. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver for it on the CD and also the Web site with no luck. When I did this, the computer would read then don't detect any card and stop playback.
    Then I reinstalled again and I'm back to this old problem.

    The SD slot is installed as "SDA Standard compatible SD host controller."

    When I insert the card, it appears as "Secure digital storage device." If I try to change the driver for this I get two options:

    > Version: 6.0.4064.1 [2002-01-10] SD storage card

    When I use it, the card is read and read continuously until an IO device error appears. The ocmputer does not respond within the interval.

    > Version: 6.0.4069.1 [2002-01-10] SD storage card

    When I use it, a yellow exclamation point appears on the SD card in the Device Manager and the error message indicates that the device failed to start. Even after a reboot, same problem.

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    I just found out that the problem was caused by Norton Antivirus. The problem was that norton is set to scan all removable media for boot sector viruses, this is for a reason any causes the SD card to stop responding for a very long time, and then causes an error of e/s. I have disabled removable media scanning and it's working now, at the expense of some system of protection.
    Hope this helps someone find something else that they have problems with this.

  • Some problems with the Camileo webcam

    Hello!

    as a first step, please excuse me for my poor English writing!

    I have a TV and it seems that many users in France have the same problems as me:

    * When I'm in webcam mode, I cannot use the microphone of the camileo, is this normal?
    * When I try to open my movies in windows movie maker, it crashes. What is the problem? It seems that the video format of the camileo is not recognized by this software,... strange!

    Thank you very much!

    Yann

    I saw this cam but I'm not familiar with the whole feature. The fact is that each webcam with built-in mic should offer its use with different applications such as Skype, MSN, ICQ and others.

    In my opinion, there is a problem with the settings and check these settings in the application, you use. In most of them, you will be able to select the sound source.
    All video format I can say that based on the description you can choose between AVI and MPEG4 format.

    By the way: you try to open the files saved on the HARD drive?

  • Many problems with the Camileo X 100

    I have a Camileo X 100 (nice and fantastic image quality) and the files are not edit from any conversion or editing software, I tried several times with all software codec
    My PC configuration is:

    Win VISTA Home Premium SP2 32 bits, ACER 9420 17 ", Intel Core 2 CPU T5500, 1.66 GHz, RAM 2 GB, 160 GB HARD drive, NVIDIA G... eForce Go 7300, K-Lite Codec Pack 5.8.3, etc..).
    0 is sufficient or not, for family movies to watch on DIVX player (on Plasma 42 '' HD Ready TV)?

    Issues related to the:
    1. How can I manage these files?
    2. I to convert before (but without the quality loss)?
    3 Please someone explain 'step by step' what I need to do (and with what software) to make simple movies (divx), without quality loss?
    4. when I connect my X 100 to the TV and I watch a movie, always remain above a boring bunch of icon that it does not disappear. Is only my X 100 or other people has the same problem?
    5. I have a lot of problem also with remote control, it's very crazy (bad firmware, zoom not working,...)?
    6 is it better me to return the camera, or these problems have all and that they can be resolved?
    7. is there someone who does not have problems with x 100? How is possible?
    8. when Toshiba updates the firmware?

    There are too many insects (ALL IS SLOW AND UNSTABLE).
    Only ARCSoft (software bundle) works, but it is not good (cheap).
    Please answer me all 9 questions.
    Sorry for my English (I prefer Italian).

    Thanks for the help.
    Antony

    0 configuration is fine, although I would not use Vista, but it's personal preference.
    1. the files can be managed without conversion with any video editing program, for example, Sony Vegas, Nero Vision, etc.
    2 - 3.Conversion is necessary to be able to view the DIVX player, as AVCHD is not supported usually. Unless you have a Blu - ray player. If you have one, you can prepare a BR disc on computer time, if you have a BR player that can burn discs BR. In this case the conversion will be done, but quality will remain. You can not divx without loss of quality. It is impossible.
    4. annoying iis band always on the screen, you cannot delete it.
    5. the remote control works well, with the only problem I've found, described in I opened. Zoom does not work? You mean during playback? It only works when you save.
    6. it of your decision if you return the camera or not. I think that for this price it is very good. Get you one, where there is no such problems for the triple price.
    7.i have a single problem (remote) with it, but at the moment I can live with, that I made my compromise.
    8 Toshiba support is terrible. I can not even a phone number or e-mail address in Hungary for Toshiba to support. The Web page for support is source of confusing and if you search for TV, you're not among the many companies, that takes the car from these products. Ridiculous. I don't know if they will update the firmware, I'm curious too.

    Good luck.

  • Problem with touch in a focus Manager

    I searched the threads on this topic but impossible to find a solution.

    Here's the thing: I have a screen, to which I add a custom handler that I add other components such as buttons, textfields, other managers and so on.

    One of the components of this is a focus Manager, I did work as a button, because he was too customized to be a button, with two blocks of text and a bitmap.

    In a trackball device it works fine, when I ride down he's focused and I can select normally, but when I use a camera touch (9550) touchs are ignored.

    I had other problems with Tush, I used a VerticalManager for the front screen and no matter where I hit, the only button I could choose was the last. Then I changed VerticalManager to the Manager and it worked, but the focus Manager I mentioned previously still did not work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Dan

    It seems that the Manager cannot be selected unless there is an active field inside so you need to touch this area.

    So, the solution is to add a new field to the handler, like this:

    add(managerFocusButton = new Field() {
        protected void paint(Graphics graphics) {
        }
        protected void layout(int width, int height) {
            setExtent(width, height);
        }
        public boolean isFocusable() {
            return true;
        }
        protected void drawFocus(Graphics graphics, boolean on) {
        }
    });

    And then this kid with the width and height of his Manager.

    The field is not visible and the Manager won't entirely.

    Thank you.

  • Focus stacking problem with Photoshop CC 2014

    I have used many versions of Photoshop in the past for a while to focus stacking. It is usually pretty easy. I pull my carpet, import into Lightroom, usually to fix an image in LR, copy settings to other images, select them all, and use "Edit in" «open as layers in Photoshop.»

    I then select all layers and "auto-align" them. I then select all layers and "auto blend" them. Usually, I then have a group of layers with variable layer masks I either try to edit or just flatten. My computer is a new Mac Pro with a lot of SSD and RAM space.

    I did yesterday with 24 images of a dahlia. They have been taken with a D800E lens PCE of 85mm, on a solid tripod Gitzo 3 in series with a head of Arca B1 and rail of RRS. I used Photoshop CC 2014.

    I'm done with all the masks of empty black layer with the exception of the lower part, which was white. The image was clearly NOT stacked focus when I flattened. It was a huge out-of-focus areas.

    I took the same images and did the same thing on my Macbook Pro laptop and got the same result using Photoshop CC 2014

    I downloaded a demo of Helicon Focus and tried to use it on the Mac Pro and the result was beautiful. I am pleased to invest in software that works, but I do pay $9.99 US/month for creative cloud and feel that he must do what he says he'll do and what he has done before.

    I then did the same with Photoshop CS6 on the new Mac Pro and VOILA it worked as before.

    Anyone who has tried this and had similar problems with CC 2014? This looks like a bug, a serious bug for me, with CC 2014.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

    Eric

    Hi Rbatey,

    Can you please make sure you have the latest update installed (2014.2)

    You can check by clicking Help > about Photoshop (Windows) and for Mac, click Photoshop CC2014 icon at the top and choose on Photoshop.

    Thank you

  • Problems with 'background' JFrame focus when adding a modal JDialog

    Hi all
    I am trying to add a modal JDialog to my JFrame (to use for the data entry), even if I have problems with the JFrame "focus". Basically, at the moment my program starts the JFrame and JDialog (loading program) very well. But then - if I move to another program (say, my browser) and then I try to go back to my program, it only shows the JDialog and the main JFrame is nowhere to be seen.

    In many ways the functionality I'm looking for is that of notebook: when you open the Find/Replace box (even though it is not modal), you can switch to another program, and then when you switch again Notepad the two main frame and "JDialog" - esque box is always on display.

    I tried to make it work for a couple of hours, but can't seem to. The closest I got is to add a WindowFocusListener for my JDialog and I hide it via setVisible once triggered windowLostFocus() (then my plan was to implement a feature similar in my class JFrame--though with windowGainedFocus - to redisplay the JDialog, i.e. once the user switches to the program). Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work; I can't seem to get any window or window focus listeners actually pull all methods, in fact?

    I hope that this kind of sense lol. In short, I'm looking for the Notepad CTRL + R-esque functionality, but with a modal box. With regard to a 'short ': code list

    Set the image as the owner of the dialog box when you create the dialog box:

    JFrame frame = new JFrame();
    ...
    frame.setVisible( true );

    JDialog dialog = new JDialog(frame);
    ...
    dialog.setVisible( true );

  • Camileo P10 - what tools are needed?

    Hello

    first of all, I wanted to ask what codec is needed to edit the footage shot with a Camileo P10. I wanted to edit videos with Adobe After Effects, but it went all * files, indicating something preblems with audio and played the video chopped and cut. NA not having any problems, even corrupted video files worked better than the sh * this camera grows out of its sd slot.

    NO, I don't want to convert the files.
    NO, I do have solutions workaround.
    NO, I won't buy an another Toshiba cam.
    NO, I do have links of old threads that lead me no hand.

    What I want to hear is what Codec is needed, because there must be a mistake with it. Pieces very well with VLC, but not with WMP, winamp, quicktime, nothing else.

    Alternatively, you can suggest some tools that I use. I would have preferred a sledgehammer, but maybe a buzz saw is fine too. Unfortunately, I can't make a video to destroy the cam. You should know why.

    Hello

    > btw, I thought that it out by myself
    You can also post how you set for yourself? I think it would be interesting for other users.

    In addition, I put t understand your problem. Here he s a user to user forum where you can talk with people like you and me. This means that there is no guarantee that you will get an answer to your question. Not all questions can be answered users then sometimes it s advisable to contact an official authorized service provider. Guys can provide truly professional assistance.

    And I doubt that other manufactures have a better support. From my experience, I can say as I m satisfied with this forum and my authorized service provider and as you can read here, that can confirm many other users as well.

    Finally and above all the door here in the forum is portable because it s a Support Forum of computer systems that you see under the Toshiba Logo. Do you know what that means? This means that most discussions and users are in the notebook section research and software only.

    In any case, I m glad to hear the problem is solved. :)

  • Can't turn on Camileo P10

    Have a problem with a newly purchased digital camera camileo p10. I unfold the battery, connect the camera to the cable in order to get power, but it won't work even after an hour and a half of attachment of power... What I hold more long stuck in or is it a problem... a constant light is still displayed, but for that long you need him powerful enough, so I could use it without a cable?
    Thank you

    I have the same problem, where the Camileo P10 does not seem to recharge. Only works when the power cord is connected.

    I also have problems with the 8 GB SDHC card that I have bourght with the Camileo P10. When you try to format the card SDHC the hourglass never disappears. The memory card works fine in my laptop and my Canon G7 digi camera.

    Any suggestions?
