  Hello. I'm working on 9.0 Solution on a University Campus. I'm working on the module of Community Campus. I face a problem like below:

  Campus Community > personal information > add/update a person

  I can type in all the information for a person successfully and save it with success. But when the search it returns nothing. This is because the security of access to demographic data is not granted to the user. So, I put security as below:

  Step 1:

  Set Up AWAR > Security > Secure Student Administration > permissions list > access to demographics: I select the EOEI9200 allow for the PS user list

  Step 2:

  Set Up AWAR > Security > Secure Student Administration > process > access to demographics: the process to initialize the list of permissions for the user PS process program is the Application Engine. The process name is MSK_CFG. The process is not successful and returns an error as below:

  Table or view does not exist. Has no SQL statement: Truncate Table USER.PS_MSK_CFG_TA04.

  I checked the table PS_MSK_CFG_TA04 to SQL > and application designer. There is no Table or view PS_MSK_CFG_TA04.

  Because the MSK_CFG process may not run correctly, the list of permissions for user PS is not initialized and data demographic is not back to the user PS when "search".

  My questions are:

  First of all, how to run the MSK_CFG process with success to the ACSS Set Up > Security > Secure Student Administration > process > access to population data?

  Second, why is the PS_MSK_CFG_TA04 table is not? How to solve the problem?

  1. when exactly you receive this error?

  2. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?

  You can try to rename the catroot2 folder and check if it helps.

  Step 1:

  a. Click Start and in run type C:\windows\system32 and click ok

  b. find the Catroot2 folder. Right-click on Catroot2 and rename it to Catroot2.old

  If you are not able to do the normal mode, try to start in safe mode and rename

  Try these steps and check the result.
  Step 1: Install the driver as an administrator
  a. shut down the computer runs.
  b. start the computer and the connection as an administrator.
  c. find the driver configuration file, right-click on the file and click "Run as Administrator".
  d. follow the instructions in the wizard to install the driver.
  e. restart the computer once the driver is installed.
   
  Step 2: Try to install the driver to boot either by disabling all non-Microsoft programs

  I install creative cloud desktop application Illustrator on a machine with windows 7 64 bit running in a domain environment.  The download begins and takes about runs for a bout 10 minutes and then stops with error: DF024: impossible to preserve the original in "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CC 2014\Support Files\Contents\Windows\AdobeLinguistic.dll" file error 32 the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.   I am logged on as network administrator, and there is no other apps except a web browser (Chrome) running.  There is no other users logged in to the machine.

  Hello. I implement Solution Campus with PeopleTools 8,53 9.0 for a University. At the moment, I put implement student recruitment and admissions Module. I made this as the 3 steps below:

  Step 1: Configure AWAR > Products > recruitment and Admissions. I've implemented all the data in this part.

  Step 2: Student recruitment. This part is not really necessary to do so.

  Step 3: Student admissions > lettering > Add Application

  The component is 5 pages. In page 4 "Application Data", table prompt Application Center cannot come from the data. Unable to save all the data of the component.

  I found that the problem is that the quick table PS_ADM_APPLCTR_SVW is a view involving 3 tables as below:

  PS_ADM_APPLCTR_TBL

  PS_ACAD_CAR_TBL

  PS_SCRTY_APPL_CTR

  I type in the Application Center data in Set Up > AWAR > related products > recruitment and Admission > candidates > Application Center of Table, the data is correctly saved in the PS_ADM_APPLCTR_TBL table and returned to the browser correctly.

  The table PS_ACAD_CAR_TBL returns data successfully.

  The problem is that the table of PS_SCRTY_APPL_CTR returns no data. This table is the SCRTY_APPL_CENTER component. GBL about the Application Security Center. It seems that we need a process for security.

  I checked the value Up AWAR > Security > Secure Student Administration > processes that are below:

  -Update of view security

  -Update security - Acad Orgs

  -User management profiles

  I love how you get this error message, and then says that there is no support for this information.  You would think that if MS wrote this error message, they would assume someone would finally get it and need help.  Why I've bothered with this company I have no idea.

  All I want is to get my child HM account work. Ive clicked all this parental control I can find.  If this was the issue of the xbox, Id go immediately to gmail.

  Had the same problem as the rest. All fixed now by:

  Abducted child security account for the family (Instructions in this thread)

  Account and went to outlook.com, let the updates.

  deleted the account from the local computer (Windows 8, users through the control panel * no * new user interface)

  Added and ensure that parental control is back on (it is by default)

  Can access the messages and followed the account. The account I had was old enough and not yet been used.

  The above error is that of the motor parallel processing Application on instances of the temporary table. There are 2 modes: online and batch. I run it in 2 modes as below:

  Online mode:

  Step 1: Navigator PeopleTools > Public Services > Administration > PeopleTools Options: I change 3 to 4 for the Instance of the Temp Table total and online.
  Step 2: Create a new control ID Temp1 and execute processes on Navigator SetUp > Security > Secure Student Administration > process > process of demographic data. The MSK_CFG process runs successfully, but the output file contains the message:

  ATTENTION: Application request engine is not active! Suspended treatment!

  
  So I run of steps 3, 4 and 5 in Batch mode as below:

  Step 3: Navigator PeopleTools > Application Engine > application Application Engine > engine Application request Page > add a new control ID Temp1.
  Step 4: Run the MSK_CFG with Temp1 process again and get the error:

  Table or view does not exist: Truncate table USER.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO5.

  Step 5: I change 4 to 5 navigator PeopleTools > Public Services > Administration > page PeopleTools Option for the Instance of the Temp Table total and online.

  Re-run the MSK_CFG process and get the error:

  Table or view does not exist: Truncate table USER.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO6.

  I have increase by 5-6 for the temporary Table instance and re-run the MSK_CFG process and get the same error with incremental number:
  Table or view does not exist: Truncate table USER.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO7.

  I have increase by 6 to 7 and re-run the MSK_CFG process and get the same error:
  Table or view does not exist: Truncate table USER.PS_MSK_CFG_TAO8.

  The maximum is 99, I continue to adding 1 to the Temp table instances and run the MSK_CFG process. But get the same error with differentials 1 as below:

  The thing is that we need to open the MSK_CFG_TAO of the temporary Table in the application designer and build. After construction, the table PS_MSK_CFG_TAO and PS_MSK_CFG_TAO1 come in the database.

  MSK_CFG process runs correctly now. Personal information of search returns data successfully. Thank you.

  It is the result of malware, then do a very thorough check and when the system is
  clean see the following message to remove this error.

  Hello. I implement 9.0 Solution on a University Campus. I'm working on the module of Community Campus and its browser has 3 duplicated items as below:

  Personal information

  Service indicators
  Service Indicators (Student)

  Student Service Center

  After I installed community Campus, I run the process in the Navigator SetUp AWAR > Security > Secure Student Administration > process > access to demographic data. The MSK_CFG process initializes the authorization lists and allows the data of 'Search' to return to user successfully.

  After I entered the data in the browser "Personal information" > add/update a person, all data returns successfully on the following 3 points:

  Privacy > add/update a person > search
  Service indicator
  Student Services Center

  But the problem is that all the data does not return on the 3 points below:

  Personal information (student) > add/update a person > search
  Indicator of service (student)
  Service Center Student (student)

  It seems that the 3 items above are duplicated.

  Community campus PeopleBook does not explain the difference between the 3 Articles about (student) and none (student).
  It seems that the element with (student) is for the Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Netherland.

  My questions are:

  (1) what is the difference between the 3 items above with (student) and no (student)?
  (2) why the data return on this point with (student)? Does require additional installation?

  Hello. The problem is solved by myself. It is not the row-level security!

  2 search folders are PEOPLE_SRCH and STUDENT_SRCH. I have reviewed their SQL views and find out the reason as below:

  The thing is that we can get the information of a person into the system and return it as a person. But if we want to return as a student, the person needs to have registration and registration information. If the person is not allowed or does register no matter what class, it cannot be returned as a student.

  My question is, why are there user processes to access data files? I think that it does not match the process architecture defined by Oracle. And most importantly, it does not mean a security leak in the database?

  There seems to be some confusion, even in the Oracle documentation, in terms of nomenclature.

  Think of it this way. There is the client program that connects to Oracle, such as SQL * Plus, Toad, custom, etc. written application. This program runs on the client. This may or may not be on the database server.

  Then there's the Oracle database server process. They run always on the database server. These processes are of two types, the USER and the background.

  You can see:

The binary oracle works with several different "personalities" based on the different purposes, he is currently serving.   Thus, each background process serves a different purpose. For example. DBW0 concerns only to write data from the buffer cache data files and maintaining all data structures associated with it.   So, the bottom line, all server (USER and BOTTOM) processes, interact with the database and associated files. The code of client program (sqlplus, Toad, etc.) NEVER directly interacts with the database.
