Hi all

In CS5, can a web service being consumed from within JSX and if so - how?

TIA,

gives details on how to connect to HTTP taken. I regularly use this as a starting point to connect to SOAP services and so on...

See you soon,.

  • Calling a web service using SSL from a client that runs as a web application.

    I have the keystore containing the certificates to call a web service through a two-way ACE by using SSL. If I create a stand-alone java application and using the following parameters, I'm able to hit the web service:

    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore","C:/bea/JDK150~1/jre/lib/security/SFCRM.jks");
    System.setProperty ("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "changeit");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore","C:/bea/JDK150~1/jre/lib/security/SFCRM.jks");
    System.setProperty ("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", "changeit");

    Also, if I use these same 4 lines of code in my web application to call the web service, I successful as well.

    The problem is, in the real world, you can't hardcode your keystore/truststore path access and password in your application like this.

    What is the right way to configure these client parameters? I do somewhere in the logical Web administration console? I tried to configure the Keystore and SSL tabs for my server using the administration console, but he can't seem to find the private key file. I get an exception that is prohibited by the web service as soon as I leave the System.setProperty lines.

    The tab of keystore, I use a Custom Keystore and Java Standard Trust store. My custom identity keystore path is C:/bea/JDK150~1/jre/lib/security/SFCRM.jks, type jks keystore, and I updated the password changeit. On the SSL tab, I've specified the alias of the private key to use for the web service as well as the password (there is no password, so I put in changeit, the keystore password).

    It does not work. I even tried using a Custom Keystore and trust stores custom and by setting the C:/bea/JDK150~1/jre/lib/security/SFCRM.jks path for both. Still does not work.

    I have a feeling that these tabs are intended for the configuration server SSL only.

    How to set the path of the keystore for customers running as web apps on my web server of logic?

    SSL-> advanced

    Use server certificates:

    "Determines whether the customer should use server certificates/keys as the identity of the client during the initialization of a connection via https."

  • How to configure a web service primavera to return the data in the second database?

    Hello world

    We have P6 with WS first deployment on a single weblogic domain server. The first WS returns the first instance of database data.

    Then deployed to the WS second tip on a weblogic domain server separated with a different port. Set up the second WS with < WS2_INSTALL_HOME > / bin/dbconfig.sh, creating a new branch a configuration that specifies one second instance of the database. However, this configuration is ignored, and the second web services return data from the database.

    We have a single domain, including notably the following servers:

    Name / host / Port / deployments

    P6 / localhost / 0001 / P6 (v8.3), p6ws1 (v8.3)

    p6ws2 / localhost / 0002 / p6ws2 (v8.3)

    We have now two different files BREBootstrap.xml.

    P6 BREBootstrap.xml:

    < database >

    < URL > JDBC:Oracle:thin:@db1:1521:db1 < / URL >

    < user name > pubuser < / name >

    password <>anycriptopass1 < / password >

    oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver < driver > < / driver >

    < PublicGroupId > 1 < / PublicGroupId >

    < / data >

    < CfgVersion > 8.330 < / CfgVersion >

    <>configurations

    < name BRE = 'P6 Config_DB1"instances ="1"logDir ="anydir, P6EPPM, p6, PrimaveraLogs"/ >

    < / configuration >

    p6ws2 BREBootstrap.xml:

    < database >

    < URL > JDBC:Oracle:thin:@DB2:1521:DB2 < / URL >

    < user name > pubuser < / name >

    password <>anycriptopass2 < / password >

    oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver < driver > < / driver >

    < PublicGroupId > 1 < / PublicGroupId >

    < / data >

    < CfgVersion > 8.330 < / CfgVersion >

    <>configurations

    < name BRE = 'P6 Config_DB2"instances ="1"logDir ="anydir, P6EPPM, ws2, PrimaveraLogs"/ >

    < / configuration >

    "P6 Config_DB1" and "P6 Config_DB2" including the property database for the database 1 and 2 respectively.

    How to set up a second web service to return the data to the second database?

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind regards

    Dmitry

    So, answer oracle support:

    Looks like it is in the documentation, Web Services cannot be configured in this way as the other modules. See the following topics:

    BUG 19516437 - Is it POSSIBLE TO hardcode a DEPLOYMENT of SERVICES WEB P6 to an INSTANCE of DATABASE? (ask if this is possible)

    BUG 19579735 - FOR BEING ABLE to hardcode A P6 WEB SERVICES DEPLOYMENT to A DATABASE INSTANCE (corresponding improvement because it can be done).

    The problem has been resolved by the following:

    1 create the WebLogic domain.

    2 P6 and p6ws deployed on managed servers.

    3 configuration P6 uses the second instance of database and P6 has not begun.

    4 result: the p6ws (from additional domain WebLogic) returns data for the second instance of the database.

    Kind regards

  • Timestamp JSON Web Services

    I use a Web Service in 2014 of LabVIEW.  I have a message for errors that have occurred on the web server.  When you ask the reading, you get a picture of a cluster that contains the error (such as a cluster of error) and a timestamp.  According to the documentation here Web Service sends the timestamp as a formatted string data.

    So now when I get my chain of historical data, I try to use the JSON unflatten, but I need to replace all the timestamp with string data types.  But I want to still the timestamp not string data data.

    So is there a function canned for Web Services from reading to the format string and the converted data native timestamp type?  An example VI with a conversion like that works but I know that the timestamps in chains can be a difficult thing, and I didn't know if my method lost another information are attached.

    Personally, I'd say you're pretty sure to do as you are. The timestamp in the string is a standard (ISO 8601) that is unlikely to change.

  • RESTful Web services works only with input parameters

    I want to create a RESTful Web Services APEX 4.2, who returns to the client, account information required to certain conditions.

    SELECT NAME, AGE, ADDRESS

    ACCOUNT

    WHERE FINANCE >: FUNDS AND CONTROL >: AUDIT

    I defined variables this way.  I tried two URIS, and the Source Type of Httpentete, but nothing works.

    NameLink the name of the VariableAccess methodType of sourceParameter type
    AUDIT OFAUDIT OFINURIDouble
    FUNDFUNDINURIDouble

    I would like to invoke Web Services from a custom page in a web browser, something like this:

    http://localhost/user/customer?funds=1000 & checking = 200

    I could not make passing the values of input in URI parameters to Web Services to work (got an error).  I did anything wrong here?  Is this supported?

    Thank you.

    After some research, I finally cracked. The URI template for my example should be: customer? funds {MONEY} = & check = {CURRENT} now, I can access web services using this URL: http://localhost/schema/customer?FUNDS=1000&CHECKING=200

  • Web services security

    Hello

    How can I secure web services native Oracle (PL/SQL)? How can I make sure that calls (from PHP, ASP.NET, etc.) to these PL/SQL web services are authenticated and authorized? What other software do I need to implement security?

    I've been using Oracle APEX since its initial release (1.6 HTMLDB?).

    Has been called Marvel project. :-)

    However, web services is really a new object me - until now, I need to learn more about this topic.

    A web service is not that much different. He gets a HTTP request and responds to it. The difference from a technical point of view is the payload. A SOAP payload is received and a load XML is the answer.

    I think that, especially with Java developers, which is described by using several acronyms and definitions more and more moving parts. But it's especially stuffed animals. This is the client-server tcp using the HTTP application protocol to send and receive payloads.

    This means that all of the basic concepts and standards and security issues with HTTP client-server, remain valid.

    What I'm not clear, is that, with respect to web services Oracle XML DB, do I really need to set a port in the server that is running the database for the XDB HTTP listener

    For the web service procedure or method to receive the call and answering the call, a layer of HTTP communication is necessary. This can be Apache, IIS, Tomcat or servlet HTTP in XDB.

    I feel very uncomfortable allow access to resources of database directly through a browser without worrying it's http or https.

    I don't see that as the real problem. If the customer uses OIC via tcp or HTTP over tcp to communicate with the database, basic security issues and principles remain the same.

    What offer the XDB is the elimination of a layer external s/w (like Apache) to deal with the aspect of communication tcp and HTTP interface. This can be useful sometimes (deletes an external point of failure and external complexity). Maybe it's not ideal at other times. As usual, it depends on the security requirements and the physical communications infrastructure.

    We can expose web services Oracle XML DB with Oracle HTTP instead of use the XDB HTTP listener in an Oracle database?

    Yes. The caller specifies what exactly? A URL that refers to a procedure from PL/SQL web active. So if that is served by Apache mod_plsql or via a servlette XDB is neither here or there - both are interface HTTP communication layers. Their main goal is to provide the interface between the client and the web service.

    I find the documentation on web services to confusion at times because it is too abstract and does not address the fundamental workings of its operation. And Oracle API web service in the data base is (AFAIK), on ito Java classes complex configuration and use of the PL/SQL wrappers and cryptic in error responses.

    So when it comes to web services, I generally prefer to roll my own using PL/SQL only.

  • PL/SQL web service

    What application server can I deploy web services PL/SQL for? Can I use Oracle WebLogic or Apache Tomcat? In addition, security is important. Should I also the Oracle SOA Suite to run these web services?

    Based on the following pages, it says we can publish web services from PL/SQL to certain kinds of application server. I have the application development Oracle APEX and wide writing PL/SQL packages. However, I don't know much about the web service and architecture that I need to get there.

    It's a roundabout way to create a web service of the IMO. It encapsulates calls to PL/SQL in Java code in order to define a web service. That is not necessary and approach classic head-up-DOS of Java fanbois.

    If an HTTP call are possible directly in PL/SQL, so why not do? So why put a layer of major and complex Java (usually on a separate platform of h/w too) between the appellant and the PL/SQL to provide a web service interface? How is it better?

    Fewer moving parts means less complexity and improve performance. Less performance problems and problems. Easier to code and maintain.

    Reality: it is not necessary for the external moving parts create a WebService from PL/SQL. And to do this, the Apache/mod_plsql or EPG of XDB is required to provide the very basic communication interface layer (at the protocol level) between the appellant and the PL/SQL web service procedure.

    You can try the following to me?

    1. Tools-> preferences
    2. the powers-> HTTPS Credential

    Ideally take me a screenshot here.

    3. press the button "default".

    Then restart your tool. It is for me as we take hold of your https from a previous version settings.

    We have created a mapping model, tested and then published as a Web Service on the standalone OC4J instance that comes with OWB (default agent). No problem, the web service runs ok from the test interface.

    And then we put in a process flow and deployed and tested templaye mapping. The flow of the process of publishing a web service also seems to work fine, but when trying to run using the test interface it throws the following exception (in the OC4J console):

    "10/05/25 12:43:28 java.sql.SQLException: ORA-20008: the workspace with the name: OWBREP and the owner: OWBREP does not exist." You can find the info to existing workspace
    rmation of the ALL_IV_WORKSPACE view or view WORKSPACE_ASSIGNMENT.
    ORA-06512: at "OWBSYS. WB_WORKSPACE_MANAGEMENT', line of 1594
    ORA-06512: at "OWBSYS. WB_WORKSPACE_MANAGEMENT', line 1561
    ORA-06512: at "OWBSYS. WB_RT_SCRIPT_UTIL', line 1028
    "ORA-06512: at line 1.

    We are doing something wrong here? It seems that the web service expects to find the workspace name and the owner of the DEFAULT_CONTROL_CENTER (OWBREP), not the development instance where the flow of the process is actually deployed (OWBRTREP). Any ideas how we can get this to work? Is there an option somewhere to set the workspace information?

    Any help would be appreciated,
    Roald

    Hi, guys

    For now, it is assumed the process flow is on the same instance. You can file a bug and we can improve in future versions.

    The workaround is now: there is a global web service AgentWebService, which has already been deployed, you can access it through http://:/jrt/webservice, there is a method called runCCJob, with this method, you can provide the information of workspace, but it must also allow you to select more information. You can get help from http://:/jrt.

  • Via HTTPS Web service call

    Hi all

    I use Weblogic 9.2 with the default configuration of the keystore & SSL. The Web service client is generated using the 'Clientgen' Ant task, I can invoke Web service using http without problems, but when you use https, it is always rejected, basically I know not what system for the customer properties, here is my last desperate attempt:
    System.setProperty("weblogic.webservice.verbose", "true");
    System.setProperty("java.protocol.handler.pkgs", "weblogic.net");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "config/DemoIdentity.jks");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification", "true");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.security.SSL.TrustKeyStore", "DemoTrust");
    System.setProperty("weblogic.webservice.client.ssl.strictcertchecking", "false");
    System.setProperty("ssl.debug", "true");

    PaymentGateway service = new PaymentGateway_Impl();
    PaymentGatewayPort port = service.getPaymentGatewayPort();
    Stub.class.cast(port)._setProperty(Stub.ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY, "https://192.168.56.3:7002/ws/PaymentGateway?WSDL");
    Stub.class.cast(port)._setProperty(Stub.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "weblogic");
    Stub.class.cast(port)._setProperty(Stub.PASSWORD_PROPERTY, "weblogic");

    ISODocument isoDoc = new ISODocument();
    isoDoc.setMti(new Integer(200));
    port.balanceInquery(isoDoc);
    And here is the exception that is thrown in the client:

    Hello

    To call your web service via the SSL protocol, the simplest is to use only the following code snippet:
    You used the threshold:
    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* config/DemoIdentity.jks" *);

    instead of DemoIdentity.jks, you provide the full path and the file name of the DemoTrust.jks file as below:

    System.setProperty ("weblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore", "* D:/wls103/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks*");

    Hope this will solve the problem.

    Thank you

  • LabVIEW 2011 Web services

    Hello

    I developed a main application, which is streaming the output array via the shared network for small application variable that streaming even table in XML format as a web service.

    It was running fine when an installer in LabVIEW 2010.

    But now I'm doing an installer in LabVIEW 2011, application running on the remote computer and can see web service deployed in / National Instruments/aws/folder.

    I don't see any any given, & distributed manager says good quality of variable deployment shared.

    Is there any specfic in LabVIEW 2011 changes to an installation program.

    Thank you

    Puneet

    Yes, my request has deployed all the variable and have seen all healthy in Distributed System Manager.

  • Consume a web service from ASP which responds with complex data types...

    Here's my problem - I'm trying to consume a web service from a provider that uses complex data types.

    The starting of the WSDL part looks like this (I have not included all) - named have been changed to protect the innocent:

    " < wsdl:definitions targetNamespace = ' http://domain_name ">
    WSDL: < types >
    " < s:schema elementFormDefault ="qualified"targetNamespace =" http://domain_name ">
    < s:element name = "Authentication" >
    < s:complexType >
    < s:sequence >
    < s:element minOccurs = "0" maxOccurs = "1" name = "User name" type = "s:string" / >
    < s:element minOccurs = "0" maxOccurs = "1" name = "Password" type = "s:string" / >
    < s:element minOccurs = "0" maxOccurs = "1" name = "Token" / >
    < / s:sequence >
    < / s:complexType >
    < / s:element >
    < s:element name = "AuthenticateResponse" >
    < s:complexType >
    < s:sequence >
    < s:element minOccurs = "1" maxOccurs = "1" name = "AuthOK" type = "s:int" / >
    < s:element minOccurs = "0" maxOccurs = "1" name = "Token" / >
    < / s:sequence >
    < / s:complexType >
    < / s:element >

    Since it is a return, with a sequence of complexType, I expect an array or a structure returned, but instead I just get the value of "AuthOK" and no way to get something else.

    Here are the ways I tried to call it:

    < cfscript >

    WS = createObject ("WebService", "https://WSDL_URL");

    WS_ret = WS. Authentication (name of user = "username", password = "password", token = "");

    < / cfscript >

    < cfdump var = "" #WS_ret # "/ >"

    < cfinvoke webservice = "WSDL_URL" method = "Authentication" returnVariable = "WS_ret" >

    < name cfinvokeargument = "userID" value = "7253320" / >
    < cfinvokeargument name = "password" value = "ctpjxs3" / >
    < name cfinvokeargument = "SecurityToken" value = "" / > "

    < / cfinvoke >

    < cfdump var = "" #WS_ret # "/ >"

    Any ideas how I can get the other variables in the sequence? I have other calls after that have a greater amount of variables, and as such I can't use without being about to get more than the
