Timestamp JSON Web Services

I use a Web Service in 2014 of LabVIEW.  I have a message for errors that have occurred on the web server.  When you ask the reading, you get a picture of a cluster that contains the error (such as a cluster of error) and a timestamp.  According to the documentation here Web Service sends the timestamp as a formatted string data.

So now when I get my chain of historical data, I try to use the JSON unflatten, but I need to replace all the timestamp with string data types.  But I want to still the timestamp not string data data.

So is there a function canned for Web Services from reading to the format string and the converted data native timestamp type?  An example VI with a conversion like that works but I know that the timestamps in chains can be a difficult thing, and I didn't know if my method lost another information are attached.

Personally, I'd say you're pretty sure to do as you are. The timestamp in the string is a standard (ISO 8601) that is unlikely to change.

    I get errors for the attached html files.

  • Web service JSON data do not return does not

    I created an application with a test sample local (active forlder) json file called "contacts.json" as below, just to test if I have any return data. The data returned in a listview without problem.

    [{ "id":1, "firstname": "Mike", "lastname": "Chepesky", "title": "Sr. Editor",
      "image": "images/data/mike_chepesky.png", "active": true, "gender": "m" },
    { "id":2, "firstname": "Westlee", "lastname": "Barichak", "title": "Talent Scout",
      "image": "images/data/westlee_barichak.png", "active": true, "gender": "m" }]

    I then changed the source for 'http://... '. "a link is valid and I checked, and it returns the data in a classic web browser (firefox). But he won't be in my application.

    What I noticed, is that the difference between the local json file and the return of web service, the web service does not return the square brackets "[...]" the json... I suspect that maybe that's the problem? If so, how do I manipulate the data source in my application to incorporate media? Is the returned data (without brackets) real...

    {"status":"successful","current_version":"1.1.1","latest_version":"1.2.0.0","details":"1. Item A 2. Item B 3. Item C","type":"Force update"}

    Thank you.

    If I'm not wrong, your local file json contains an array of objects, and that you load from your server contains a single object.
    If so, you can not call insertList (data), use insert (data)

  • Consume Web service REST to 8.52 PT with JSON body

    We are on tools 8.52 and try to consume a web service from REST to the external address.  I have successfully built a document and I am able to use the GET operation (where no body is necessary), but for the POST, I need to be able to provide the body in JSON format.  8.52 tools is not supported with native support for JSON, but it should always be possible generate the JSON string manually, it should not?

    Has anyone else done this?

    I thought you said you were on PeopleTools 8.52. Support JSON for Documents has not been added up to 8.53. Add an element with the attribute psnonxml to your load XML and put your JSON in this element. Integration Broker will remove XML Integration Broker exit. You can see an example here: http://jjmpsj.blogspot.com/2011/10/rest-like-peoplesoft-services.html.

  • best way to get the web service XML JSON etc legacy database

    We have a bunch of old scientific databases for which we would like to expose data via an XML web service.  International XML schemas have been developed in the standards for the sharing of these data we need to provide the data in.  These patterns have very different data of our legacy data structures.  We want to leave our databases within the same structures but to expose the data in them in the XML schemas.

    Building SQL indications XMLFOREST SQL etc. that returns the XML doesn't seem very practical that the structures are very different and the SQL must be very very complex and would be very tedious to make and maintain.  Is there another way to make in the database?  There are tools outside the database such as who can help in that we used in the past and could be used again - but I had much rather that on the database if possible.

    Building SQL indications XMLFOREST SQL etc. that returns the XML doesn't seem very practical that the structures are very different and the SQL must be very very complex and would be very tedious to make and maintain.

    Using SQL/XML is the most flexible way to generate XML from relational data, as you have full control over what you do.

    If the target XML structure is complex, any method will be complex to implement completely in the database anyway.

    There is no tool integrated with Oracle that would take an XML schema and make the mapping with relational data.

    What you can do is a third-party tool allows to design a XSLT stylesheet that would take care of transforming an XML format canonical (easily created from the database of a query) in the target XML instance.

    In this way the complexity lies in the style sheet, and the real transformation could be made within the database.

    I understand that your printer is not connected to the web services.  . I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute.  I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

    1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select Network (IP) address

    6. select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

    7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.

  • VIX file in the user interface designer receives the data from the Web service application that communicates with the SQL server database

    I created the Web service VI ("Mt-insolacije.vi"), which has two terminals of the input string (FROM / TO) for the dates of arrival and exit of two data terminals (table 1 d) from database (MS SQL server). This VI communicates with the database with functions of the database with a DSN and SQL query appropriate palette. There are two tables with two data (time and Insolation) columns in the database.

    This VI works when you run in Labview 2010, but when I used it as VI in UI Builder it returns no data.

    Could you please help me find a solution. Is it possible to communicate with the SQL server database in this way or there is another way?

    There are two files attachmet: Image of .vix file in Interface builder and .vi file ("Mt-insolacije.vi")

    Please help me ASAP!

    Thank you

    Ivan

    I found the solution problem is in the DSN. I've been using the user instead of DSN system DSN.

    It's important to create the system DSN if you want your VI of web service to communicate with the database.

    PS Please put feature bundle format timestamp and XY graph in the web user interface designer. It's complicated to trace data with datetime on X axis without them.

  • Problem with the web service call

    I use ajax with json to call webservice but its not working with the localhost url in the emulator of the ripple. If I use an ip address or external url does not call the webservice.

    I also tried with BlackBerry, webservice does not.

    can someone guide me how to call the Web service?

    Thank you

    Sundaram

    Your file config.xml needs the ip address or the url in the "whitelist".  Use the access for that tag.  for example:

    The piece above is not secure because it whitelists ALL------* areas.  You can put your url in the uri.

  • How to call the web service?

    Hello

    I want to know how to call the web service from my application HTML5 & javascript.

    Please help me find this detail as what I can access easily. and I want to access web services online (a method of it) I'm not concered with how background Web service takes place.

    I just want that when you call a web service method, I will return the result.

    Please try this out for a WebService call

    var xmlhttp;
    xmlhttp = new XMLHttpRequest();
    xmlhttp.open("get","your url",true);
    xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Accept","application/json");
    xmlhttp.setRequestHeader("Content-type", "application/json");
    xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=function() {
     if (xmlhttp.readyState==4) {
      if (xmlhttp.status == 200) {
        console.log(xmlhttp.responseText);
      }
     }
    }
    xmlhttp.send();

    This will display the result of the invocation of webservice. The url is the application that you deploy and the type can be get/post. If xmlhttp.send (post) takes argument for the display of the data. You can call it by clicking a button in HTML.

  • create the http client to retrieve data from web service

    Hello

    I am newbie on our webworks. I need to retrieve data from web service. How to connect to this service and analyzed. There is a tutorial that can help me get started with it.

    Can any one advice me how can I start working with webworks on blackberry 10

    Thanks for any help

    In general, you will need to use an AJAX call to the server

    It really depends on what the server returns as to how the information is easy to digest

    JQuery provides a simple interface, and returns information easy to use

    If you deal with things gets complicated XML according to namespace

    If you look at the raw XML data and it goes something like fred: name you will have questions requiring an implementation of SAX - JSON is simple if you don't get that even if (nothing too confusing here)

    If using an external data source JSON go if you have the choice

    As examples go - just look to the top of JQuery Ajax [JSON / XML] and you will get where you're going quickly

    SAX is MUCH harder because of the namespace - Dublin is the most common and same XML without namespace is not simple to handle, so avoid it if you can

    Hello

    I deployed a web service with security @SecurityPolicy (uri = "oracle/wss_username_token_over_ssl_service_policy") policy.  The WSDL file seems

    But when I test with SOAPUI and JDeveloper HTTP Analyzer, it always, up InvalidSecurityToken: the security token is not valid.

    Looked into this a bit and I think that your problem can be caused by a time stamp missing security feature. Try something like:

    It worked for me using the Soap UI request. So try to add the "wsu:Timestamp" element and pointed out that the value used must be within the tolerance between the client and the server so have a valid value, you have the tolerance depends on how the system is configured for configuration details, refer to . Hi MEMU,.

    I have it. And he has deployed in the built-in container. It works very well. Note that I did the following.

    (1) change the project properties,

    In the libraries and Classpath, I need to add in Classpath entries associated Jena libraries, slf4j, sdordfnosqlclient.jar, kvclient.jar etc.

    (2) use the xercesImpl - 2.9.1.jar instead of xercesImpl - 2.10.0.  Jdev 12 c appears to use an older version of xerces as bundles of Jena.

    Once done the configurations above, I can execute your project without changing Java code.

    Here is the result:

  • With parameters rESTful Web services

    Hello

    I'm new to the RESTful Web Services and I have a few problems.  Here's what I've done so far.

    1.) created a web service in SQL workshop area.

    2.) named the User_Test module

    3.) named the model URI User_Test / {Userid} (requires secure access is set to no and format is set to JSON)

    4.) created a query that looks something like this...

    Select field1,

    Field2,

    field3

    from schema.table

    Where user_id =: userid

    5.) created a parameter name and variable binding name are the two "userid".

    Navigated 6) at the following URL:

    _ http://localhost:9091 / apex/app_name/User_Test/1

    The result is:

    {

    [items]

    }

    When I change my steps so that there is no parameter, it works fine.  Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Brian

    OK, looks like NOT specifying a parameter seems to solve this problem.

  • Extract the data from the web service response

    Hello

    I called a web service and in response to XML data, now I have to extract the values and store them in the array

    My steps,

    1 call WebService
    2 answer stored in the CLOB column
    3, then used after the request

    SELECT loc.*
    OF my_xml PO,.
    XMLTable (XMLNAMESPACES)
    "urn: schemas-microsoft-com: XML-diffgram-v1" as "diffgr".
    ,'http://api. .com / "as"ns0"
    )
    ,'/ ns0:DataSet / diffgr:diffgram/NewDataSet/OptOutAll '
    PASS xmltype.createxml (PO.xml_data)
    COLUMNS
    "E-mail" TANK (100) path "Email."
    'Reason' TANK (150) PATH 'reason '.
    ) As loc
    WHERE ROWNUM < = 10;

    I wrote using this example

    But it does not work, do not know why
