Can anyone help to fix the imperfections of focus stacked. I am trying to find a way to scan a part of a mask in a specific layer.

I have not looked through the video, but if you look through the files in Bridge and find the one that is stronger for the problem area.
In Photoshop, select the layers stacked focus, right click and turn into a smart object. Add the file that you just find the stack of layers and use Auto alignment to align the new file with the smart object. Then use a layer mask to hide out of the areas of focus on the new layer.
If you have CC, you can use Select > field on the new layer, then add a layer mask.

First post here. I tried to learn the tool "Refine edge mask" and have had some success. I can brush the bottom, but when the algorithm ends the procedure (if I click 'OK'), I find myself with a slight grey or brownish tint around the perimeter of the image. I've attached an example below. If I drop the contrasting background, such as a blue sky, it looks very good indeed until you start to see the light grey around his hair. Hiya, that's not really a topic for beginners and you'd probably get a better answer in the forums main photoshop.
Masking hair is one of the most difficult thing to do in Photoshop. The dilemma is that you need transparency for the hair to look natural, but that results in a gray halo around the curls models. A good way to approach this problem is to work on the mask itself is not not the image. You will find that if you paint on the mask with a soft brush to a low opacity in overlay brush mode (not layer) with a default black color, it darkens the gray until it gets closer in black, all while not affecting only not the box white mask - so you don't need to be prudent-memory white reveals black cache - on your image where there currently gray you will see the background. As you mentioned you did a factory restore using the Samsung recovery disk, it restored the computer to factory settings & finally deleted the application from your computer.

I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and hope to do a clean install, but I had not given this option. On the Microsoft site, I've been advised to go back to my previous version of Windows, 7 and then repeat the upgrade. I did and when I tried to upgrade, he did a validation test to see if my copy of windows is genuine and she failed the test. I installed LR CC last week and I'm working through the tutorials. My Presets are not active. When I roll over the presets with the cursor, nothing changes in the navigation panel. If I click on one, nothing happening either. Can anyone help?
Try to uncheck the option preferences > performance > CPU graph use. There is an obscure bug that causes presets do not display correctly. Not sure if it will affect, but it is easy to try.
If this does not help, try to reset the preference of LR: reset the lightroom - updated - Lightroom Forums preferences file. LR soils is not uncommon of preferences, and when that happens, their reset may fix a surprising number of behaviors wobbly.

There are three things to try. If this image has been opened through Adobe Camera Raw 9.0, unchecking the GPU in ACR preferences. 9.1 is up-to-date and should have corrected it.
Second: Photoshop Preferences > Performance > GPU settings advanced, tamp him drawing to this Basic Mode.
