  For starters, let's you go to iCloud.com to check if your contacts and your photos are here. Once you confirm, go ahead and sign up on iCloud on your device and then re-enable Contacts and Photos. Technically, as long as you have had Contacts and photo library enabled on your device before you sign on iCloud iCloud, you should be able to just reconnect you restore these items.

  Sorry, Tabstrip control is now a regular toolbar where the tabs are not displayed. You can place toolbar buttons or tabs on the tab bar app. Just something new you need to get used to.

  I've never heard a backup report bugs, however if you are interested in, you can always restore the device as good as new.

  Well, it's a problem in your Firefox. To me this https://www.yahoo.com/ page looks like the screenshot of IE.
