    Greetings

    3 CalcType is a Script of calculation, not a BR or sequence.

    In order to understand this in detail, create a data form, add a BR, a Calc and a single sequence. Export using LCM, look at the XML you will get your answer.

  • Composite form and business rules

    I combined two forms of planning in a composite shape.

    The two forms of planning have undertaken save rules associated with them, with the action to execute on.

    I do not clearly see in the documentation, but I assume that when users use the composite to save the composite will execute the rules associated with forms of planning? Or what I need to put in place the management on the composite rules?

    JTS

    I am running 11.1.1.2. I have a composite shape made up of two forms, one having a rule associated with the record. When I save the composite shape, he runs the rule associated with the form "sub". (There are no rules associated with the composite shape itself).

    It seems that you should be able to do this so be it - associate the composite rule or with the form of void. I combined them with forms of "sub", just in case someone accidentally runs in form rather than the composite.

  • distribution and business rule

    Hi guru

    Can we use allowance and business rules in essbase?
    It can be used only in the planning?

    can you please help me with this

    Thank you

    HBRs are BSO cubes only.

    You can launch HBRs four different ways (may be more or less applicable to you):
    (1) starting at EAS - it is for admins only
    (2) of SmartView
    (3) to a form of planning (I know, you're not in the planning, I simply mention it for completeness) good, technically true, but you must have a connection schedule to do this, and you said Essbase, do not intend.
    4) there is a pitcher of Web of trade rules. See: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/hbr_web.pdf
    (5) apparently I'm a bad meter. For ODI, see: http://john-goodwin.blogspot.com/2009/07/odi-series-executing-hyperion-business.html

    I'll bet that #4 is what you want.

    You can certainly use against plain old HBRs Essbase BSO. It's your choice if you use graphics or improved calc scripts.

    PS It is also Manager of Calc, if you are so inclined.

    From within the business rule component, you can't call and get additional data. All required data must be passed as part of the entry.

  • Calculate form data - business rule

    I'm a bit confused on how the default business rule 'Calculate the data form' which is available when we create a new form of data.

    By operating, calculate cube it worldwide as it works as - CALC ALL?; Or it calculates just the specific shape dimensions/members. I always thought that it is a specific calculation for the data form - which considers the selection that we have in our POV, the Page and the lines and columns, and does not calculate all of the cube. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    If anyone has some resourse which has more on this, please share the link or information. It will be a great help.
    Please let me know.

    You would certainly be trouble has he calculated the whole base, calculated subtotals on the form itself.

  • Can use iCloud company separate personal and business files to select the files to share?

    I run my own business (1 year) and I use all Apple devices, including a MBP and iPhone iPad 2 Air I think it's great to keep track of all my work files and standard documents, including models created in the likes of Pages.

    I'm looking to use possible someone, and I would like that they have access to the iCloud deposit structure that I use to store all my files, documents, documents standard and models Admin etc.  Currently, this is all related to my iCloud/Apple account which also includes personal documents, etc..  Is it possible to create a separate business account to store all of these documents, which can then easily shared and worked on several people or a way to select the files to appear to other people?

    One way to do that would be to create a second user account for the work. Transfer all your work related document here. Then create a new ID Apple and sign in iCloud. Organize your documents here. You can then sign the new employee in this iCloud account.

    On devices, we should go in settings/iCloud to sign out as your dial-up between your personal files and your working data.

  • Can I make a PDF form and submit to the CF?

    Hello.
    I wonder what can I do this.
    I would like to create a form as an example of order of the life cycle of the creator. And want to submit it as a POST of a ColdFusion backend method. Think like a HTML form submission.

    Would this be possible? Or I must have OF the lifecycle for this kind of task.

    PDF form generated starting from CF and submit to the CF-> database appears as an attraction for me. No problem for the fixed CSS bug.

    Read the documentation on CF8: «Many forms created in LiveCycle Designer allows several types of communication, including the XDP and XML, ColdFusion 8 can only retrieve data from HTTP post and presentations PDF»

  • Extracting data from Siebel, OPA and impose rules on this

    Hi all

    We have a scenario:

    OPA is used as the server front-end to answer some questions & based on these responses, OPA must validate the data in Siebel and return the result to OPA.

    for example:

    I have a few contracts in siebel, based on my rules in OPA (say, year 2010 > & warranty = 2 years), I need to recover the data that are corresponding to this criterion of Siebel and display in the OPA.

    Can I use OPA connector for Siebel to achieve?

    From now on I saw and heard the examples where connector for Siebel takeover is used when Siebel is the front end application and OPA serves just to validate in the back-end.

    Anticipate some answers.

    Thank you
    Shyam

    You can do this with Siebel connector.

    Specifically, you can use the data in Siebel to begin a session Web determinations then use Web determinations of conduct and maintenance. The results of this interview can then be saved to Siebel.

  • The use of variables in the Calc scripts and business rules

    I'm sure that there have been previous discussions on this topic, but can anyone let me know the benefits of using variables in scripts of Calc and BRs?

    Thank you
    A
    I've never used variable Calc and after reading a guide to the study, which has talked about them, I didn't really understand the benefits.

    ^ ^ ^ I use variables all the time to make difficult abstract formulas. Here is an example.

    /*     Declare variables     */
    VAR varSalaryCosts ;
    VAR varProdOHLabXXXX ;
    VAR varXXXX ;

    A whole bunch of code here along with very limited FIX statement and then...

    "Salaried Labor"
    (
         varSalaryCosts = "Salary Costs"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried" -
                             "Wage Bonus"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried" -
                             "YYYY Retention Bonus 40%"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried" -
                             "YYYY 60% Ret Bonus Accrual"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried" ;
         varProdOHLabXXXX = "Number of Employees"->"ZZZZDepartments"->"Codes"->"Salaried" +
                             "Number of Employees"->"Blah Departments"->"Codes"->"Salaried" +
                             "Number of Employees"->"Humph Departments"->"Codes"->"Salaried" +
                             "Number of Employees"->"TTTT"->"Codes"->"Salaried" ;
         "Salaried Labor" = varSalaryCosts * ("Number of Employees"->"Salaried" / varProdOHLabXXXX) ;
    )

    The last formula is how the formula was described to me by the owner of the company. I find it much easier to read something like:

    "Salaried Labor" = ("Salary Costs"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried" -
                             "Wage Bonus"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried" -
                             "YYYY Retention Bonus 40%"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried" -
                             "YYYY 60% Ret Bonus Accrual"->"No Department"->"No Category"->"Salaried") *
                             ("Number of Employees"->"Salaried" /
                             ("Number of Employees"->"ZZZZDepartments"->"Codes"->"Salaried" +
                             "Number of Employees"->"Blah Departments"->"Codes"->"Salaried" +
                             "Number of Employees"->"Humph Departments"->"Codes"->"Salaried" +
                             "Number of Employees"->"TTTT"->"Codes"->"Salaried")) ;

    I used the TABLE in a calc script really-cool-but-alas-not-invented-by-me do better than planning made the conversion of currency currency conversion in planning. • Error, see business rule (to assocated with) in the list manage the data in the forms

    Hello

    I have a business rule, I see it in the Regional service console, but when I try to join my form data in the Planning, I don't see this business rule in the list fo management rules which appear in manage data forms-> tab business rules. I hae associated with this business with my outline planning application rule again I do not see it. Can someone please.

    Also I migrated my rules from one environment to another (PRod dev), now when I go to Manage dataforms in Dev, I don't see these new rules of business listed there. Help, please

  • "Cascading" business rules composite form of Tabs

    Long post. I'm here for the ACEs in the stem. In 11.1.2.2.300, we have a composite form with multiple shapes in the form of tabs. Two of these forms have business rules that run on individual forms, not on the Composite shape. Three of these forms have no business rules that run when recording. The following behavior is:

    1. when we open the composite shape to a tab of a form without top business rules and click on save, the data is committed.

    2. when we opened the composite shape to a tab of a form that has a business rule that works on record and click on save, the data are engaged and the business rule is executed.

    3. the problem is there: when we open the composite shape to a tab of a form that has a company that rule runs on save and then we open a DIFFERENT tab with a DIFFERENT shape which has NO business rule to this subject, and click on save the data on the open tab/form is committed and the business rule goes against the members on the OPEN form. Not the form that made the business rule to this topic.

    4. If, after step three, you open a different form that also has a top business rule and press on save, it runs both the business rule in the open form, AND the business rule of form before.

    Is this a bug? For?

    For those of you more visually inclined:

    Form/tab A - form by default upon opening, without BR

    Form/tab B - BR

    Form/tab C - no BR

    Form/tab D - BR

    Form/tab E - BR

    1. open Data Composite of form - see form A. press on save - committed to the database.

    2. click on the tab B. press on save. Data committed to the database. B rule business runs.

    3. click on the tab C. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members on form C.

    4. click on tab D. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members of business of d. form rule, D runs.

    5. click on the tab E. press save. Data committed to the database. Company B of the rule is running on members of the form E. company rule D works on members of the form E.

    NOW the weird part!

    1. open the composite shape - see formula.

    2. click on tab D.

    3. click on the tab B. press on save. Data committed to the database. Business rule B runs first on the members on the form B. business rule D then runs on Member on form B.

    Our first theory was that because BR B came first in alphabetical order in the calc Manager, B pulled before. We have this disproved by renaming and changing the order of B and D in calc Manager. BR B always run before D. BR our second theory was that the business rules are executed based on the order in which they appear in the tabs. But we have refuted this as well. We concluded that the order of business rules is in order that their "links" exist in the rules on the Composite shape. Help!

    Tried this on our system and we have same question... It looks like another bug in EMP 11.1.2.3... SR trigger with the support of the oracle, they could fix it in future versions...

    Yes you can see the business rules in planning if you associate with a planning application, you can also pass on information of Member of web forms in variables.
    Not all customers who purchase essbase also buy planning and business rules can be used either with you it is important to make two connections.
