• Try to find information about the HP Pavilion DV6000 series

  Anyone know why it is so incredibly difficult to find information on the HP website about the series HP Pavilion DV6000 of computers, and where I can find if it still exists?  I have found information on other sites that indicate enough although this computer of fixation for a sis friend hopeless and I am inclined to agree with what I've seen so far, but I can't find the lists of computers that are supposed to exist indicating which computers are supposedly devastated with this 'hopeless problem', it is currently impossible for me to confirm the verdict.  I prefer finally reach my own conclusions using as much information that I can possibly understand rather than simply using opinions limited to some people, and that is why I would be very happy for any information you could give me on this issue.

  The system in question is HP Pavilion DV6000 series with a specific model of DV6405US number and the system shows that it is well powered food, but when you press the power button, the only thing that happens is that the battery light flashes three times and then absolutely nothing.  If I try the system on battery only, I get no response whatsoever, and I get same answer on AC power only.  I only get the flash answer three with AC and battery connected, and that's the only answer I got from the system.  This answer will repeat as many times as I press the power button.  I tried unplugging all sources of energy and don't let the rest of the system for an hour, by pressing the power button for about a minute, reconnect the power supply and I still get no results whatsoever, unless I have reinstall the battery.  At that point, he returned to simply give me only the three flashes of light battery.

  I don't know of a list of anywhere that gives all of the models affected by the Nvidia gpu failure, but I can tell you that the DV6405US has the Nvidia GeForce Go 6150 , which is well understood. Models with this gpu have been included in a regulation by Nvidia that include spare laptops. Unfortunately, the deadline under the regulations is long expired.

I simply have viable options for owners to post this problem and have seen its results. One of my personal friends even recently used his service and was very happy.

  How to find an HP forum/support/blogs to find information on the external ports provided for various laptops?  For example, I'm at work and want to stop at Fry to pick up a video cable to attach a second monitor to my computer at home which is a HP pavilion laptop 17 with product number: G1D27AV.  I tried several searches and returned empty.   I suspect that this information is not readily available on the HP site, but if I'm wrong, it would be useful for me to learn how to find it.

  Hello.  I spent several hours looking in the forums and the manuals learning how best to use my stuff.  I have several questions to which I have not found answers too.  If some people might help answer all or part, it would be appreciated.
  
  I have several apps on my PC which have the ability to make a DVD.  They are Arcsoft Showbiz; ArcSoft Total Media 3. ATI Catalyst Media Center and first Elements 4.  PE4 can blend in and grab one of the other program of coding of programs rather than use its own.  I guess that PE4 encoding better program and hope that I use.  I used G-Spot to see all of my "Video Codec and filters.  The only ones who stood who have been associated with Adobe were the following.

  My video files are 4:3 SD.   Using GSpot, I discovered the following.
  One of my Sony DCR-TRV280 .avi files had a 22589 kb/s average throughput & 2.786 bits-pixel/frame (measure of the quality of GSpot)
  One of my files MPEG-2 of Sony DCR-SR220 had an average flow of 9100 KB/s & 0.879 bits-pixel/frame (measure of the quality of GSpot)
  The two files when converted in DVD by PE4 when setting maximum of 8 Mbps had average binary rat 8813 kb/s in reception & 0.851 bits-pixel/frame (measure of the quality of GSpot) DVD size was less than 1 GB.
  
  -L' encoder used by PE4 seems to hit its limit to 8813 kb/sec.  This is a limitation of the encoder, or a standard DVD-Video?

  S ' there is no upper limit the rate of standard bit set for DVD-video, are there better encoders out there that go above the ability of PE4 8813 KB/s?

  S ' there better encoders, can a person buy a plug PE4 - or - export a file edited out of PE4 and have this higher level encoder to convert the file?

  -J' have a DVD of a football young game made by an another dad.  The camcorder has been one of the best about 3 years ago and the DVD seems better than what may be my camcorder.  GSpot says that its DVD has an average flow of 8000 KB/s & 0.772 bits-pixel/frame (measure of the quality of GSpot).  My DVD files have high sampling rates and bit/pixel image measures than his, but his looks a lot better.  If the display of standard definition is 720 x 480 pixels, then there are a total of 345 600 pixels in an image?  If my DCR-SR220 1 120 000 real pixels at 4:3, then my camcorder will be well above 345 600 pixels in a 720 x 480 image SD?  I don't know there is more than that and that's what I want to know.

  If anyone can enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

  The DVD specifications are limited to one at 9.8 kbps throughput for a video Audio handset &. You must not exceed that for putting a file entirely in-spec. That's the high absolute "spikes" in the encoding process.

  According to its Audio output, something on the order of 8 Kbps is near the top. Now, there are a few other considerations:

  1.) some people have problems with decoder players everything which exceeds 7, don't handle very well.

  2.) Robert Johnson tested PE and found the ultimate quality setting was somewhere around 7.8, IIRC. Most of its conclusions appear in the articles on Muvipix..

  There are better encoders and Hollywood uses these. Some allow up to 20 passes out the maximum of each file. These, however, cost upwards to the GNP of many small countries, and the people, who have several years of experience at this level. They do nothing but transcode, day in and out.

  PE is likely to not have problems with other applications on your computer, as long as none overwrites the Adobe hand Concept CODEC (no guarantee with any other application). Only hang up can be with applications that contain packet-writing modules, take control of his aircraft. Adobe programs wish to exercise a control 100% of them and generally raise errors or just can't find the burners, if you have something like InCD from Nero or Roxio DLA. It should not be installed (the writing module).

  Unfortunately, I can't comment directly on PE coding, as I use Adobe Encore to all my transcoding and used to use to burn the DVD.

  Regarding the quality of the video a little similar, there are two main points to consider: optics and sensors, with different cameras. It is probably not a question of the bitrate of two files, but the cameras, which produced the film.

  Hunt
