  The Downloader is you inviting them to save the installation file to a directory. By default, this is the "Downloads" folder in your user account.

  You can save the file to your "Desktop" for easy access and once the download is complete, you can run the setup.exe file to begin the installation.

  You can follow the steps below to download the trial sound without using the Download Manager.

  To help determine if we will buy Captivate I create some projects using the 30 day free trial s/w.

  I want to see how it's easy to build a complete simulation of the software in mode "let-me-try." Before you create the simulation, I think I should first set up my preferences: via Edition > Preferences > turn on 'Click boxes' and 'text entry areas ".

  However, click "boxes &"Text entry areas"are dimmed (grayed out).

  The 'Help' function did not work either in this free trial 30 days, so I do not get the help popup screens!

  My questions are:

  (1) if I could turn on the 'click boxes' & 'Text areas' before creating the simulation, would this setting take effect for each slide?

  (2) does anyone know if I can activate the 'click boxes' & "Text entry areas" on the 30 day trial s/w?

  Think you misunderstand these preferences. When you perform a capture of the software, you have the choice to mark different options: demonstration, training and assessment. You can even choose to have all the which will create 3 different files.

  In preferences, registration, Modes, you will see the default setting for each of these modes and you can tweak that as well. A custom mode is also possible. This configuration will decide what happens when you choose a Capture mode: an example adds the mouse will happen only in demo mode, not in training and assessment.

  During the capture, if you keep the default settings, the CP will pass to FMR (full motion recording) for sliding movement & and mouse. With Captivate 6, if you want more quality for these 'video' slides, you register them better with the new video mode, but then you will need to insert the gliding record yourself (Insert menu).  Another tip: try in the recording settings replace the default text (bitmap) shaped captions smart (activate Demo Mode), they are much more editable (and vector base).

  Can someone please help me find some of the old features of Dreamweaver? I use the free trial version of Dreamweaver CC and I'm going through tutorials on lynda.com and all the features that they have, that I can't find?

  1. I NEED RETURN DESIGN VIEW! It is no less: view > Design view. The only things which are: Code, Split, alive and split Code? How can I get?

  2. on the lynda.com videos, each video has 3 buttons at the bottom of the document window that show the view either phone, Tablet and PC (in the shape of each). My trial version does not work? It has a menu that allows me to see different massively phones and tablets, but I want that it simplified so I can just press a button to see which one I want. How can I get that?

  3. I want CSS Styles menu. I love having the ability to do beside the window of the designer, but sometimes it is more difficult to make simple changes. I would still be able to click on the css style I want to modify, and a window pops up to do. How is that possible?

  4. in the lynda.com videos, they also have a file CALCULATED under section of selectors of the designer window css that allows to see all the styles that have been added to your site. They said that Dreamweaver CC adds this file automatically, but my trial version does not. How can I get this file to automatically display?

  1. as long as you are not in a fluid grid layout, click the arrow to the right of the direct button upward in the toolbar to the design. If you are in a FGL, you need to change your fluid grid css file in order to recover the design mode. Fluid grids are now considered legacy and, finally, don't be taken in charge by the program. To get the rear Design mode in a FGL:

  Close all other files, open the Legacy fluid grid css and add the X shown below:

  DW restart and you should have Design view from there out on all the files using the .css file of that LFGL.

  2. the 3 buttons have been replaced by a list of typical sizes. Click the resolution numbers in this corner of the list. You can also grab the handle on the right side of the preview window and rub it in to set a size you want

  3. the old CSS panel disappeared. The designer of the CSS is the replacement and can be resized to match to almost the size of the old Board, but this former Panel feature disappeared. You can get the dialogue to CSS rules that pop for all integrated (in the)) or the external css selector by selecting the item and then clicking the CSS button in the property inspector, and then press to change the rule.

  4 AFAIK, this disappeared, however if preview you in search in Firefox, right click on an item and choose the item to be inspected, the computed css will show here.

  5. the version you have is probably 3 or if versions more recent than the tutorial. You can't have older versions of CC applications unless you are a Subscriber CC. If you subscribe, you can have DWCS6, CC, CC2014, and CC2015 all installed at the same time on the same machine under a single license.

  6. the trial version is the full program, you are just using a much newer than the tutorial and a lot has changed
