microphone is very noizy

I have Windows vista home

When I work with, online, my client is not here my voice, sound strongly.

I am also checking my microphone, can't my voice,

I think that my microphone is function, but heavy noisy sound

How to solve the problem?

When did you notice first of all that the microphone was noisy?

You use a desktop/laptop computer?

Referring you to rest in micro (on laptop, that is)?

If you use an external earphone with MICAH, try to use the same on another PC. Check the performance of the same and see if the headset needs a replacement.

  • Yet WT8 - microphone is very quiet

    Hello

I got a reminder of Toshiba for Christmas and have started to use Skype on it.
When I do the person I call can't hear me unless my mouth is located next to the microphone.

Someone else has had problems with their microphones being too quiet or is it a hardware problem on my device?

    See you soon,.
    Nick

    Hello

Have you checked the microphone recording level?
Microphone level settings are in the utility of Microphone level.

Hold down on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select form of recording devices submenu. Select the Microphone and the Properties tab.
On the level tab, move the Microphone slider to increase or decrease the level of the microphone.

If you feel that the volume of the microphone level is inadequate, move the slider for Microphone Boost to a higher level.

PS: this and other details about your device are in the user manual ;) so read it if you want to know how your camera works and how to use it

  • Satellite P300 - 1 9 - microphone is very poor when using camera

I have a problem with the microphone level when I use the laptop and the skype.system.

The person who receives the call from Skype cannot hear the low sound recorded using laptop computer.
However, if a microphone is plugged into the laptop then the sound is perfect.

Anyone have the same problem or knows how to fix...

    Hello!

Have you checked all the sound settings? I think that the microphone level is not set to high volume.
AFAIK in Skype, you can also change the volume of the microphone.

Maybe you need to upgrade the driver sound and webcam.
Audio driver and the webcam software is required to use the internal microphone, because the internal MIC is only available with the internal webcam.

  • Microphone is very quiet? Do I have to reinstall my system vista? Thnaks

    Need help

Hi, thanks for your answers. I tried to return my audio drivers for an older version may be the version by default when I bought this laptop and my microphone works fine now. It seems that the new audio drivers I have installed do work well with my system.

  • Plug in microphone is very soft, there is no icon in 'line' or select to change audio levels.

    Hello
I have a microphone plug that goes directly into my microphone jack. The microphone DOES not work, but it is almost silent and people can barely hear me.
The only microphones that appear in the control panel-> Sound are my fault, and there is no icon in 'line' or whatever it is to recognize the microphone so I can change its sound levels. This certainly isn't a problem of pilot mine are all so far and the helmet is not a usb plugin. Disabled and disconnected devices are all displayed.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thank you fo contact Microsoft Answers.

Try to reinstall the drivers. If this fails, try updating the driver software.

  • Very silent Qosmio X 770 external microphone

    Hello.

I just got a new Qosmio X 770. Everything is fine, except for one thing: the microphone.

By default, the my headset microphone is VERY quiet, I have to speak very loudly to be heard (or registered) very quiet. I got stronger with the internal "amplifier" in windows, but it doesn't sound good.

I tried (the two) new drivers since the pilot site, no change. There is a third Sound-section pilot to invida. Doesn't change anything either. (not finding a window of configuration for this good)

I also tried different settings in Realtek Audio Manager, did not help either: /.

I use Windows 7 x 64, headphones Steelseries siberia v2. I also tried a different helmet, the same problem.
For the test, I use the tool to record audio of windwos.

Current driver installed is Realtek high definition Audio version 6.0.1.6360 (from 28.04.2011 under windows).

    * RESOLVED *: when writing this request, I downloaded the latest driver from the Realtek Site(High Definition Audio Codecs). (http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?langid=1&pfid=24&level=4&conn= 3 & downtypeid = 3)

Installed, now I have a poor recording quality. Maybe Toshiba could include this driver on his pilot site?

I'm still working on optimization. If I managed to wear the quality at a good level, I will answer on this post.

Tips and tricks are very much appreciated!

Thank you very much for the comments. I hope this will help others who have the same model of laptop and the same issue.

  • Portege T110 - microphone does not work after instalation of Win 7

I have the same problem. The microphone worked perfectly for more than 2 years, then I reinstalled WIn7 and since then, the microphone is not picking up all the sounds and nothing also when I plug in an external microphone. Very annoying, because it was previously accessible perfect. I have the default Windows HD audio driver - is there a driver Toshiba I have use shlould

    model is Portege T110

Portege T110 is unknown to me, but it seems that this series has been published in Asia.
So checked the Toshiba Asia page and found this:
    http://PC.Toshiba-Asia.com/SG/support/drivers

You will find the Portege T110 and drivers Win 7.
The laptop seems to support the audio driver Conexant so download and install on the system.

I have an iPad 3, the latest version of iOS. I was wondering if there was an option to switch between microphones while using something like facetime, because my headphones have good audio, but the microphone is very subdued.

  • Satellite A300-1NO - built in microphone has its Sun

    Hello everyone.

I noticed that my microphone is very low volume. When I voice chat, people barely hear what I speak. I got the Realtek HD Audio Manager, downloaded the audio driver on the Toshiba site. All set to 100%, amp microphone is only 20 dB 30 dB is too noisy. I checked also Assistant of webcam. I don't know what to do.

When I use the external microphone, it's OK. But the microphone is calm and flat, dim.

    Hello!

I m not a Satellite A300 owner but it seems that you only need to update the audio driver. Here is the Toshiba document I founded on the site of Toshiba about this:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB8A02FH0000R01.htm

The driver can be downloaded here:

  • Re: Microphone completely after installing XP on Satellite Pro P300

My father bought a Satellite Pro P300 that I went down to Windows XP by using the included CD/DVD.
Later, we found that the internal microphone is very quiet when we tried to use it.
We need to yell into the microphone to get any sound at all, more like sounds random blip. Type the microphone sounds more scratch.

All other sound effects are great. speakers work fine. We connected an external microphone to the mine in the laptop and video calls worked without problem, the problem is only with the internal mic.
I saw that someone else has the same problem in the forum (link: [http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=33844&tstart=0]), but it does not say how or if this problem has been resolved.

I would really appreciate if someone could give me the fix or a link to the fix to our problem other than plug in an external microphone.

    Hello

Windows XP supports a microphone amplifier. Have you enabled it?

Go to control panel-> Audio & Sound Devices-> advance tab press Volume button

    Optionally, select advanced controls

Then you should see the volume of the microphone. Please set it to a higher value.
In addition, press the advanced under the microphone button.

Here, you can mark the micro amp.

Now, the built-in microphone is very insensitive: I have to get as close as in 10-15cm from the microphone in order to get acceptable results. I don't know what has changed... never had problems before.

When I try to do speech recognition, training my computer just can't hear me (at least it seems that Yes)...

    Hello

I think you should check the volume level of the microphone.
Go to control panel of-> sound-> recording tab

Here you can see the Microphone device.
Now, check it and click on the properties button
Now new window pops up and here you have to choose the 3nd tab
Here, you can increase the volume of the microphone.

  • FYI: AX100 with Sony ECM - GZ1M Multi Interface microphone

I took the microphone ECM-GZ1M cannon. My AX100 try to better isolate the sounds from subjects in front of the camera and found an interesting problem. So that the microphone. works in the firearms and zoom modes (and turn it off turn internal mic so it should not be removed from the device), you can set the audio level in the menu. the option is disabled when the microphone. is on. It can be chosen for the internal MIC or an external mic, but not a connected mid.

It resembles programmed audio assumed that we would use something like the XLR adapter (which has its own level control). If the microphone. works very well with automatic level control, but no manual control is possible (as firmware 3.0; it is not in the list of changes for 3.1 but I have not yet tried).
