Can I attach a file to an e-mail message? It seems that I can reach only an individual file.

I would like to a folder that contains many subfolders in it by email, but I can't attach it to the email. Is it possible to accomplsh another attatching the respective times of two of each folder?

Thank you

Bob Ford

Using Windows Mail? The file zip and then it will go. (As long as the size is acceptable). Bruce Hagen

  • Error message when you try to attach the document to an e-mail message: you don't have permission to open this file. Contact the owner of the file... for permission

I can't attach documents to hotmail or my e-mail from work using Firefox. I have not tried another such search engine as suggested in other posts with similar but different questions. Yesterday a pop-up asked me permission for Firefox to access my documents and clicked on 'no '. I had never seen this pop-up request before if I didn't take the risk that it be a virus. A month ago I was able to attach documents to my email.

Using Windows Explorer, I moved my documents from the folder 'libraries' to 'myfolder' under computer. Not sure if they had moved or if it was just a temporary solution of fluke, but I could send my documents successfully. There was malware that has been found through one of the links provided by an answering machine, but even if the malware has been removed, the issue has not been resolved.

  • attach a picture to an e-mail message so that it shows as an attachment not included in email

Hi hope someone can help me please. I am trying to attach a photo to send by e-mail, but the picture fits on the body of the email rather than be sent as an attachment which requires that the recipient. Any help gratefully received. Amanda

The photo is an attachment without worrying about how it appears so when you're writing the message. If the recipient does not see it as an attachment, they can click on the picture and choose to save directly to a file.

  • How can I change to single line spacing in e-mail messages. Seems to be fixed twice!

Thunderbird emails just put up on the new laptop / windows 10. The spacing is not a problem on the previous machine, nor on my smartphone e-mail settings.

I noticed something similar and other differences according to my account (for example, line-wrap). I can't say if there was a design change - but I noticed when I passed the text, it tends to be single line spacing, yet when I use the key enter there is more space (aka line spacing). So - if there was a change in the design - which will be sufficient to discuss I expected. However, when I want a single-spaced: a) do not press on enter - leave simply the c of the viewer back to the line b) press SHIFT + ENTER

    I hope this helps!

  • Why I can't attach a file when sending an email [in firefox]

When I send an email in fire fox I can't attach a file. When I click on the button, nothing happens. I am able to attach files when I use one browser other than fire fox.

Can you tell me why this happens only in fire fox.

I heard you the first time.

Firefox send an e-mail, it's strictly a web browser.

If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". We might have an answer for you, if we knew which web mail services provider this problem is with. Or, you can seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

  • I can longer open attached pdf files. I am able to preview the files, but they are too small for me to read.

    Help, please.

    I did something wrong (AGAIN!)

I had no problem with access to attachments to my e-mails, but a problem occurred just.

I can longer open attached pdf files.  I am able to preview the files, but they are too small for me to read.  When I click to open all the I get now is a kind of icon (in Microsoft Office Picture Manager) with which I can't do anything.

It seems I should have arranged for Picture Manager automatically opens attachments to emails, but when this happens, I'm stuck as what I try, I can't do pdf files appear as they did.

The help file does not really help.

I hope it is something simple, even an old fool like me can do with your expert (and, I hope. friendly) help.

    My fingers are crossed.

My apologies if I offended Protocol - this is my first venture.regards

    Create a file association.

    1. download and save the attachment to the office.
    2. right click on the saved file.
    3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
    4. click on: choose [default] program.
    5. Select: (Whatever you have installed a PDF reader).
    6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
    7. click on OK.

This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.

  • How can I bind 'click here' text to an attached Excel file where the link remains intact when opened on a different machine?

    Hello Adobe community!

    So basically...

I have a sentence in my PDF showing "click here". I want to join this text that goes to an Excel file that I attached using the "Attach a file" link.

I did successfully this link to another PDF but an Excel file seems to require a different process.

This link must remain intact, it will be sent around a large organization.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can use the JavaScript doc.launchDataObject method. It is documented in the Acrobat JavaScript reference. If you set the nLaunch parameter, it can prompt the user to open the attachment.

  • You can attach a file to your form

I want to give the user the ability to attach a file when they submit their response to my form. Is this possible?

    Hi natalieg3592767,

You use Adobe FormsCentral to design your form? If so, you can add an attachment field that would allow your respondents attach a file. Please see FormsCentral help. Create a form for more information.

    Best,
