  Katherine, take a piece of paper, make a big hole like brush strokes and place it on the corrected image. This is not the colors are the same as on the image corrected, now? (Well, there should be a gray piece of paper to get exactly the same result)

  It's an optical illusion, like this: http://capslove.wordpress.com/2009/11/20/optical-illusion/ where the eyes of the same color green or cyan according to its surrounding areas. Your mind compensates for the colors and the tricks you into believing that they are different in picture one / two, skin color lighter and less saturated than in your second picture image.

  Knowing this, you can use another adjustment layer, to drive the color where you want (to the soft blue brighter, more saturated) or skin made down the color that appears too bright.

  If the other members of the forum are not paid in graphic design and the influence of surrounding the optical tricks colors/classic, it doesn't surprise me that they are consistent with the description you give, especially if you do ask them 'the skin looks too orange.

  This is why it is recommended to have a photo studio (or the room in what you use Photoshop) with gray walls, why Photoshop interface is neutral blue-grey and not bright pink, etc.

  (If you work on a Pc, select a black theme without transparency for Vista/7, or on a mac, select the choice of interface of graphite, as it could also mislead you.)

  I guess I forgot something simple, but when I sent a test of my form (created in version 9) to someone, they could open and select boxes, filler text, etc, but cannot save their results. They received a message that the only way they could save their results was to print the form. • Satellite Z30 - update driver touch pad with adjustable scrolling speed?

  touchpad Alps for W8.1 that is currently provided by Toshiba driver doesn't have an option to set the vertical scrolling speed of the gesture two fingers. With the speed by default, even supported the fingers down without moving them results in a scroll that is the equivalent of PAGE_DOWN, for example way to fast. The version I'm using is the most recent site (tpdrv - 20140306120847.zip)

  There is a registry entry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Alps/Apoint that make the situation a little more bearable (ScrollLines set to 1), but there is no way to adjust if it more in the settings or the registry

  A newer driver from the Alps (8.103.404.104) from another company has this option and scrolling works as it should on the lowest speed, but it does not support the 2 fingers rightclick.

  Why toshiba is using an outdated driver that is missing this feature critical? Is a new driver available? Anyone find a solution for this?

  My knowledge of the laptop manufacturers change and adjust own pilots.
  Driver versions are always different and are not always comparable with versions of driver outputs of other manufacutrers for laptop.

  As you said above:

• Text captions do not appear when it is used with text entry areas (C3)

  I'm building a simulation of accounting system where the learner needs to enter data.  I entered text boxes (one per blade) appearing all the time on the slide.  I have captions that tell the student what to enter, but are synchronized with the audio, then a final text legend who told them how to go to the next slide (press tab, etc.).  My problem is that the text captions do not appear if they are configured to appear after the text input area appears on the time line.  Has anyone experience this problem?  Any suggestions?

  We have created a work around using a highlight box where the text entry box will appear later - so that all the text captions and text entry boxes appear at the same time.  Should be an easier way!

  For some reason, itunes suddenly began to create an element for each song I download, whether it's an album there or by an artist that I have. I was able to correct some of them harassing again and again with the sorting, but most of the time, it creates just an additional entry! I have about 20 different Manic Street Preachers who come upward (my group preferred so many downloads). How can I fix! Very annoying!

  If iTunes displays multiple instances of an artist or an album then generally what works is to select all the associated tracks and use read the information to add say an end X for each of the areas of the slopes have in common:

  • For an album. Album, Album artist, and artist (if the artist is the same for all tracks) *
  • For an artist; Album artist (and the artist unless there are comments/featured artists listed which should not be changed)

  Apply the change which merges things together, then remove the excess characters. Occasionally, it can help to close and reopen iTunes between two renaming operations.

  * If the titles must be synchronized to a non - iOS device, there should be a common artist or the album must be defined as a Compilation.

  Use the view of songs and display fields, Album, genre, Album, Album artist, genre artist Album, artist and genre artist side by side to see you whether or not it is necessary to change the artist and if sorting values could be the cause of additional problems. See grouping in albums, titles for help if necessary.

  Another tip duplicates stubborn reality. I had three batches of various artists in the view of artists in my iTunes game library the other day that would not respond to usual treatment X back. What I found worked was adding the final X, but with each group, iTunes wanted to separate start typing a value and let iTunes autocomplete of the Var... for various artists. Collection of AutoComplete lists seemed to work when the full value of collage/montage does not.

  It is possible with the key to write OpenG (varying) _ogtk.vi. But the problem is that when you want to read this back, you need to know what type it is. If you write to a different section of the config file each with a specific type, the TI will work. With this solution, you must use the key to reading OpenG (varying) _ogtk.vi to read and convert the value to LV

  Another way is to use Get Type Information.vi of the Variant Data Type palette. The trick here is to convert double or string before saving it in the config file (wire structure dealing with the output type of the vi and do conversions in the case of type dbl and string). Here, too, you must use a different section, one for dbl for string. Here, you use the standard Read button live file configutaion palette.

• SMU 6341 and SCB-68: problem with several entries... * URGENT *.

  I have an urgent problem, I would really appreciate help with.

  I have a terminal block (SCB-68) connected to a multifunction data acquisition (6341). There are 4 entries in the Terminal:

  1 sensor laser displacement, coming from a controller as a signal of analog voltage output ("1V" and "0V" on the controller). Connected to AI 0 and GND.

  2. The accelerometer (PKI, coming from a then the voltage signal conditioner) connected to GND AI and AI 10.

  3 load cells (PKI, coming from a then the voltage signal conditioner) connected to AI 11, 12, 13 and 14, each connected to the GND PIN is close.

  Problem:

  By MAX, if I read in 6 channels above my data acquisition (6341), my displacement sensor (#1) and the accelerometer (#2) behave very well. However, among the channels (AI 11 and AI 12) load cell switch in tension, as if they follow the movement sensor voltage (#1). For example, there is usually a mV - 800 in AI 11 voltage change.

  This problem disappears when I'm not reading travel (HAVE 0, #1) laser. that is as soon as I remove this channel of my task, the readings of cell and accelerometer support back to normal (base voltage ~ 0V). Yet once if I ask again the laser channel, I see a vertical movement in the readings of load cell 2 (displacement varies with the current tension HAVE 0).

  Attempts of fixation:

  -tried to change the differential using AI laser sensor 0 and AI 9

  -tried to delete the field of laser 120V Power

  Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated!

  This is the general idea.  If you must use high impedance sources and that you have enough channels available, placing a channel of the grounding of entry between each other usually helps.  You must analyze these chains grounded.  Just grounded isn't them enough.

  Example: Sensor has = AI0, ground = AI1, sensor B = AI2, ground = AI3, sensor C = AI4, AI5 = ground.  Read AI0:5.

  I try to open and close relays on the pxi-2503 or-Switch with a 0 or a 1 entry in the node of relay action. I am trying to replace the constant control of opening and closing by a 0 or 1. The digital input is respectively 20 and 21, these integers they control relay. How can I change the values 0 and 1. I deleted the order of opening and closing of the driver itself and connected an integer constant in the pilot I32 node. I made the mistake of saving it. Now the relay returns an error as the sink empties and all relays now have a cut wire and no control input. I tried undo it and wiring of control of origin (open/close) for the entry I32. It continues to error. I'm Noah re - install the drivers or switch. All I need is a solution so that the relay to accept 1 or 0 for relay control.

  Starting from the example VI, you need not to change anything with the VI relay control.  All you have to do is input a 20 to open the relay or a 21 to close the relay.  If you work on 0 to close and 1 to open you can have him in place so that opt-out of the control of the 21.  This way, if your control is to give a value of 0 you get 21-0 = 21 enter the VI of relay control that will close the relay.  If you have a value of 1 from control you get 21-1 = 20 go to the command of the relay which will open the relay.

  

• Multitone generator with more entries and exits of computer speakers

  I would like to add several harmonically related sinewave tones (maybe 10) and output for computer or line out speakers. Ideally want to use full range audio 44100 Hz sampling rate as well. I managed to combine two or three screws and get something that works to but lower sampling frequencies be dynamically updated if I change of frequency or phase. And to higher sampling frequency, it is not a continuous sound. It just beeps, then waits, beeps and then waits. I'm sure that oters have attempted to address this problem in the past but can't find much info. Currently using a Mac but could switch to a pc if necessary. Orientation will be most graciously accepted.

  I found several things that keep all your VI to work as you wish. The attached VI works fine on my Mac.

  1. I configured the sound and tone generator to use the same sampling information. Any other combination creates complications.

  2. I discovered the hard way that the tone generator wants the frequency to be an integer multiple of /(# samples) (sampling frequency). It does not appear in the documentation (help file) but other combinations Sunrise errors.

  3 set the input of the amplitude (not your Amplitudes) on the Generator.vi of Multitone to 1.00. This makes its compatible with the screw Sound output. It is documented in the help, but it must be read in several places and set up thepieces.

  4. the reset to Multitone Generator.vi entry must be filled to deal with changes in frequencies, amplitudes or phases. I connected just a real constant for now. Later, this could be better managed by a structure of the event.

  5 consider the frequency, amplitude, and phase controls at tables or a 2D array as an arbitrary number of tones can be used without changing the program.

  6. a sort of waiting may be required. Without it, I sometimes got a timeout error. Several options are often different from the Structure off the diagram. The sound output wait will ensure that the time-out does not occur, but it also produces small openings in the sound. Forward (ms) works well enough, but it's a guess as to the optimal value for the wait.  After all the changes, I have madevene that the any waiting seems to work.

  I created a small web app using asp.net to a Default.aspx page, deploy in IIS 7 on Windows 7 machine, the app works great in Internet Explorer with the URL: http://machineName/AppName/Default.aspx .

  I created an application Widget using Blackberry VS 2008 plugin 2.0, in the Configuration section of the Widget, as the entry point for this widget, I select Remote, then I put the URL in the text box above.

  Entry point for this widget--> remote: http://machineName/AppName/Default.aspx

  Under the section access Widget I added the domain as http://machineName/AppName

  Widget permissions--> add domain: http://machineName/AppName

  I then build and run the Widget application on the Simulator, I got an error:

  Do I did wrong here? Or is it possible to do? Or y at - it another way to create a widget application that point to a .net web application to the remote address?

  According to your PC network settings and how your internal DNS server works you can sometimes have problems with the MDS Simulator resolve the domain name, unless it is complete.

  For example the name of my PC is tneil-xp-2, but its full domain name is tneil-xp - 2.rim .net

  I would try using the fully qualified for your Web site domain name.  If it does not also try to use the IP address for the site just to confirm that it is in fact a DNS lookup problem.  The MDS Simulator acts as a Proxy for the simulator device for network connectivity.
