• Can I copy my profile of one copy of Firefox to another?

  I have Firefox 42 perfectly configured on a computer Windows 10. Installation of others is a mess. It's on another computer Windows 10. My user name and directories are identical on each. I don't want to debug ALL the symptoms I have now. It would be wonderful if I could completely uninstall the wrong installation and reinstall Firefox 42 fresh. • Reset used, bad results. ALL copied from old profile to the new file, & FF file now takes 100% of CPU. I can take off safely profile folder?

  Audio delayed or does not stop when you run a video. So I used RESET. Lost bookmarks & homepage & ADBLOCK and who knows what else. So I just copied ALL the files from the old profile on my desk in the new found under troubleshooting. Put everything back, but now FF use 100% CPU when running. I'm sure that I messed up by copying everything but little, I freaked out when I saw that I had lost so much. What can delete the current profile safely folder? (Yes, I feel like a fool and I regret just is go with my screws upward, but I really need help with this).

  I didn't know how to find your answer to what earlier. In the meantime, I used back once again, & found printed the info that I need to copy ONLY the files that I need between previous & new. (Not done yet). But this time, my favorites return. (YAY! "I have a ton of bookmarks). The CPU usage is now reasonable.

  First of all, what has caused the problem:
  A few days ago the partition C of the HD-Drive with Win7 OS and firefox installation crashed due to problems with the poles (according to the error messages). I tried to solve the problem with chkdsk, win-repair and standard controls, but did not work. Win7 starts before don't appear the indirect balls or sometimes until the mouse coursor on a black screen appears but stays there. Other partitions - data - work well as before. I recognized that I can get access to the operating system partition by clicking on command prompt in the repair-win7 environment. All files and folders are still there.

  I installed another HD of the same type (first as a simple reader) and also installed the same operating system and the firefox browser to search for advice. After that, I put the old HD as a slave in the PC. All partitions seems ok. but one with OS Dionysius access. The diskmanagement under control of system shows no problem with any partition. All partitions are correctly identified and have a drive letter properly. Only access to the first partition contains the operating system and firefox is always denied.

  WHAT I TRIED (YOU WANT TO):
  I booted the system with the command prompt without booting win7 (not the Win7-command prompt in a window) and I copied the profile completely of the old installation of firefox on the old HD C: on the new HD with the creation of all records by hand and xcopy all files in all folders (E:\Users\ (username) \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxx.default (xxx for the characters/name firefox createt)) to a subfolder on the new C:. Then I chose this profile using the Profile Manager for ff. The name of the profile-folder (and subfolders) were exactly picked up the old facility with all the files of the old installation on the old HD.

  BUT WHEN I STARTED FF AGAIN TO AN UNFORESEEN SITUATION, PROFILE AND ESPECIALLY THE BOOKMARKS WERE SIMILAR EVEN BEFORE (A BIT OF THE NEW FACILITY INSTEAD OF THE HUNDREDS OF THE OLD PROFILE).

  So I ask for advice, how can I get the old profile/bookmarks to the new system. Or perhaps - if anyone knows - how I could run the old ffox at least once more to save the bookmarks by using the bookmark backup. (I made a backup but it was too long ago, a lot of new bookmarks have been added in the last time).

  I would be very grateful for any advice or information problem.

• Changes in value of HEX/RBG color between programs Adobe CC

  Hi guys,.

  I have a question about the color of consistency between programs Adobe CC. I noticed that when I save or export a file from Illustrator, then open this export in Photoshop, the hex and RGB values sometimes change slightly. It's a small change that is almost undetectable by the human eye, but I can't seem to find a solution for this.

  For example:

  1. I draw a carrΘ in Illustrator and fill it with a green (RGB: 153/10/40, HEX 0 A 9928).

  2. I click Save as or export (according to the type of required file) and save the file.

  3. I open this file saved in Photoshop, choose the green square color but find the value RGB is passed to 10/15240 and the HEXAGON to 0 has 9828.

  This seems to only happen with certain types of files - namely the JPEG and EPS files. When you export from Illustrator in PNG format, color values seem to stay the same. It also seems to be good when copying an object from Illustrator and sticky as a smart object directly in Photoshop, which makes me think it is point of export that the color change occurs.

  I am setting up and export files in RGB throughout the above process and synced my color settings in all of my programs CC (using Adobe Bridge) to Europe General purpose 3.

  It of such a small difference but gave rise to a lot of confusion in my business around the brand colors and consistency. If anyone has any advice or could offer feedback, I would really appreciate it.

  This kind of thing often happens with JPEG files because of the compression. The chroma component is compressed a lot more aggressive than the luminance component. Nothing to do, except use a format not compressed.

  Aside from that, you should be aware that number will change radically, for the same color in different color spaces. This is why I am warning against relying on hexadecimal values, because they have no reference to the management of colors or color space. Hexadecimal values tend to take as 'absolute' numbers, which in fact, they are very far. Hex color numbers are, indeed, outdated and obsolete and only survive by inertia.

  I am rebuilding my computer and cannot get my my previous generation profile to load. I followed the instructions and have never had any problems until I loaded a copy of profile.ini and sceenshot of the items in the folder. I copied all the files from my old profile but nothing appears. I want only one profile.
  Can someone direct me to what I'm doing wrong. I even refreshed and not go. I even copied a profile to another computer to make sure that nothing has been altered with the first

  How old is this backup?

  You can check the compatibility.ini file in the backup to see what version of Firefox has used this profile.

  You can try to use only the files in the backup that you really need instead of copying a complete profile.
