• Creating Pages that work well on all Types of layout (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet)

  I was reading the Adobe employee responses to a question that someone asked you to get a sensible width that works on all layouts (including the desktop, Tablet, Mobile) and I read your explanation of resizing of the browser window a little smaller until you cross a breakpoint, then resize slightly larger then it switches back on the smallest width that belongs to the next breakpoint plu followed by ScrollBar control horizontal and checking the items, for sensitive post and sizing settings etc. I checked and double checked all troubleshooting suggestions and I'm still not find what is causing the error.  Some of the pages on my site from work, some do not, and I can't find the common denominator that causes this problem of width sensitive.  The page looks good on a desktop computer, but it is to slap on a mobile device; I just want one suitable for a page-all and I've never had as much trouble with it before.  It is a very simple page and short (well, I'll have the same problem on a few pages - very short and simple), you think you can take a look at my .muse file and let me know what I'm missing? Time is a huge factor here, can anyone help me quickly?  The temp link is: HOME

  Sorry I have not been on in a few days. I take a look at your file.

  I read that you have inherited this file to someone... it's fun!

  There are a few things it could be:

  #1 change the width of your Web site to 1000px because honestly your design starting to break at the level of the mark 960px, then this where your first breakpoint must be

  #2 that the navigation is on every page, this really should be on a Master Page and breakpoints must be added in there. (Ditto for the footer)

  

  #3 after you have done that delete pages. You can then add another breakpoint in your Master around 550. Move navigation where it should be and the PIN properly.

  

  #4-ensure that all images and text on your pages are on "width and height sensitive."

  #5-after doing this, the point 960 on your home page, you may need to move the text to the right side of your slideshow slot your slideshow, Ditto for the text boxes with the image. Basically, you need to simply close the browser width slowly and see what needs to change. Sadly, you have to work your way through the pages and do this everywhere. These are things that probably should have been made when the site was built.

  

  #6-the white boxes behind the slideshow and the text/images are difficult to treat because Muse does not pitch well. You might consider losing the bottom grey and changing to white background in order to mitigate this problem.

• Print an e-mail, how do you restrict the number of pages that only 1 4?

  I'm going to print an email, and it maybe 11 pages and I want just the first page.  It says on the bottom 1 of 11 but will display all 11 pages.  How do you restrict it just the page or pages you want.

  This seems to be the limitation of the charm/devices/printer mechanism.  If it's the printer drivers or not I don't know.  On the machine, as I sit the connected printer to Dell, the XPS print driver or the OneNote driver offers an option to choose the pages to print.  By clicking on "additional settings", you get all sorts of options such as duplex printing, but no page selection.

• How to make the banner graphic 100% width at the top of the page that handles the user resolution changes

  I have a banner which can be divided into three distinct elements.  I would like to make the following distribution:

  Left right 20%, average 20% and 60%

  HTML I just use a 100% width table and set widths of cell to this percentage of left to right.  How this is done in Flex?

  I have tried all kinds of configurations of ConstraintColumn, but it seems that I can't get two columns to work to say 60% - 40%, and not three as stated above.

  Is ConstraintColumn the right place to look here or is there a better approach?

• Mac on Windows SMB shares - IDLK files that allows multiple users to access the same file endangered

  We have an agreement with Adobe volume licensing and have about 16 licenses Adobe CS6 all used on Mac computers. The network focuses on Windows servers and actions that Macs connect to the through an SMB connection on the server. The question we have is that when you open an InDesign file, sometimes it will not create an IDLK file (or sometimes it will create one, but it will disappear a few seconds later) and it allows several people to view the same file at the same time. Of course two or more people working on the same file can, will and caused problems with crash documents without knowledge to do so.

  Someone else has experienced this or have any ideas as to what might help us solve this problem?

  There will be no file locking for an earlier version, until it is saved as a

  CS6 file.

  For the rest, this looks like a problem with permissions on the server.

• ID that allows multiple users to access the files at the same time

  I often share files on my Mac with another Mac in my studio.  In the past if someone tried to open a file I was using would give them a warning that the file was opened.  Now for some reason, it allows both us to have the file open and work on it and seems to give priority to the person who opened the modified file.  If they make a change and save it, its OK, if I make a change to it, the program says it needs to close and then freezes.

  Not sure when this happened, but I'm guessing it's something to do with the update to Lion, because that's when I started noticing the issue. We are both short CS5.0

  Other people find this question, and y at - it a setting to stop it. We try to avoid never work on the same file, but due to workflow in the studio, it could happen accidentally and could cause major problems.

  There was a bug in the initial release of CS5 that allowed this under certain conditions. Update 7.0.4.

  I created a homegroup, in which my "Desktop PC" and "Notebook" are members. I have 4 user accounts on my desktop PC and 3 user accounts on my laptop. I wish that only certain user accounts on my laptop and desktop PC in order to access some user accounts on the other machine. I.e. "Sally" account user on my laptop only access account user 'Sally' on my desktop PC and vice versa. Rather than user account 'Sally' on laptop or desktop PC being able to access 'Martin' account on laptop or desktop PC.

  In other words, I wish that every Member of the family must be able to connect to my laptop or my desktop PC and access their files that are stored on the desktop originally.

  There is probably something wrong with your recordset. Test the query in the window of recordset for the generation of game records to ensure that you get the results desired of the recordset before placing and repeat on the page.

  We have a requirement where we want to store some information in the field of page_desc available in the page.

  But we noticed that this field is added to the page def only when the user provides some information in the Description field when the Page itself was created.

  So my question is, can get us somehow the description during the creation of the page itself.

  OR, we can use service page to add the parameter pag_desc to def page somehow, if it is not present?

  If the menu is outside the region, you must pass a parameter in the area and read this parameter passed within the region. You cannot directly access the bean of expanded view of inside the workflow.

  That uses a router within a workflow to decide which page to display based on the parameter. Using this solution you can easily implement your use case using two different pages to show the table, a read-only, and the other to change.

  Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files.   General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

  You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

  In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

  The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

  If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

  Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
  Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

  Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

  I managed to do it with the full path of the link (file:///C|/Users/myname/Documents/familyK3/image1.jpg), but as it is quite long, I would use the relative path. To be clear, I have 1 site that spans 3 different storage locations for FTP. site1 (named familyK), that contains the page. On this page, I have an image that is in the images on training3 (named familyK3). I tried... / familyK3/images and... /... (/ familyK3/images, but I don't get to see the photo in DW (since it usually refers to an image in the same folder (root)) and not to another location).
