Can I customize my toolbar icons?

I've just updated Firefox v.6 to v. 22. So far, everything looks good, but I miss my color icons (they are now all gray and black). Small problem, but am just wondering if there was a way to 'color' them?

    Take the pix you want to use and convert to ICO file type.

    Place the pix that results in a Windows folder. Right click on a shortcut. Properties | Change icon and navigate to the folder and select the ICO pix you want to use.

    If the original size of the pix is too big for what it work, you can make them smaller before changing to an ICO with this free tool, unless you already have a program for resizing.

    I need more space on my toolbar from the Air. I have in the past been icons only in the small size, but it does not work now when I try to customize - so I have that roommate 8 favorite!     Y at - it an equivalent of DW to the 'standard toolbar' in CFB2, because I'm looking for a way to put the most basic commands of the Undo/Redo/copy/paste editing and don't see a way to add them to a visible toolbar.  What I see is that I have to click on the Edit menu, and then select the order I want.  I'll be really disappointed if I can't include the basic like this on a toolbar commands.  Please don't tell me about shortcuts keyboard, I know they are there, but I would like to have the Visual buttons on my toolbar, too.  Record everything and Word Wrap would be another order I current have a toolbar of DW, but cannot see how to customize it in CFB2.  Am I missing something?

    I have news for you, some good, some bad, and somewhere, you can still help your cause.

    First of all, I note that I have raised this issue for you to RIAcon this weekend, when Hemant (Director of engineering for the CF and the BFC) spoke on CFB2. He agreed that the addition of the extra buttons for people who prefer what could be useful.

    I must admit, though, that I could not remember which key it was and thought it was a "BOLD". Someone pointed out that there is actually a bar of buttons for such things HTML (even if behind a tab, you have to notice and open). I think that may have then deflected the concern of Hemant for this.

    So I added here as a CC (don't know if he is a member of this forum. BTW, Hemant, if you're not, then no answer is not getting to the group, but if you add me in manually ([email protected]), I'll forward your answer if I do not appear in the forum.)

    And as I have noted, DCwebGuy - why don't people use first names in these forums? -you could and should at least raise this as a feature request. There may be others who are with you. The bugbase does support vote, and you could answer this note with your bug id to give it more publicity.

    Go (and not to be in a bad mood, but on the contrary speaking sincerely) when you say that you are a coder pure and hard, I think that there must be 'designer-like' features of DW that you like (well beyond this problem of click of a button) enough to bring you to prefer to stay here and not take advantage of many features in CFB who are NOT in DW. If this is not so, then maybe you don't see enough of what WMC can do for you.

    I'll tell you this: some features (like some elements of the fantastic code help) work only if you go the extra steps to log in to a server and things like that. If you don't do this, you will not see and enjoy these new and unique features has NOT of DW. Do you have at least seen demos or read the guides to fully appreciate what you give up? It is not "just another editor".

    But again, DW has certainly something that isn't the CFB (and may never), so she really different races for different people.

    Finally, if it was truly about shortcuts keyboard vs mouse clicks, I'll suggest that, at least with cancellations, ctrl-z is used in almost all applications out there, is not as if it was a burden to learn and use. It's a terrible way to end, I'm sure it sounds in a bad mood. Again, I don't want to say it. I'm just saying that I'm sure some reading of that would think, so if you went to answer feel free to do it for them - but please take a breath first, if it got up your blood pressure. And please do not shoot the Messenger.

    In other words, I want the bookmarks to be more compact in the toolbar, as I see several of them on the page.

    You can change the names to make it shorter and remove the favicons or don't leave the favicons.

  • How can I customize the folder icon and add the template to all subfolders

    IM using Windows 7

    In the My Pictures folder, I have many many separate subfolders. I have no problem customizing folders one by one, but check the box "Also add this template to all subfolders" does not work. It does, however, if I check this box to display the same image IN the folder.

    This isn't a matter of life and death but Ive got about 200 subfolders (with graphics) and modify them individually will be soul destroying and dead all simply too short.

    Ive tried select all and change properties, but modifies only the 1 folder which has been a right click

    Ive looked for questions but the problem has not been raised. Any help would be appreciated.

    Two things can cause the Bookmarks button to "disappear" from the Navigation bar when the customization mode is closed.

    1. the Menu bar - with File, Edit, View, etc. - shows.

    Since you have checked the answer first of cor-el solve your problem, I have not exposed on this point.

    2. the bookmarks toolbar shows, and this button is this toolbar.

    Is the Menu bar showing or not?

    Have you tried the reset bar of tools and commands that I mentioned?

    You can customize the toolbar of EO (i.e., re - activate the icons to cancel, cut & paste) by right-clicking on an area void of the toolbar and select CUSTOMIZE.

  • The toolbar icon/at the top of vista which was a media, recycle bin and various other icons disappeared. How can I get that back?

    I do not take on the bar menu or the task of starting at the bottom of the screen with the clock and symbol windows/start or a toolbar gray that the user creates to contain icons or the gadget bar. Just the small 3D search toolbar icons which was at the top of the screen.

    This toolbar is common to Dell systems, called a Delldock, it is not part of Vista, but rather is installed by the manufacturer. Other manufacturers, such as HP, have similar tools.     It is only in cc 2015 photoshop where you can customize the toolbar.

I'm then cannot clear the pop-up window. How can I remove/fix this very annoying problem. I spend a lot of time trying to remove these popups and they keep recurring. No fix for that.
