  To answer your question: no, you can't have different text in Notepad. This is because Notepad is designed to create and edit text files using the basic of formatting text. I recommend using Microsoft Word (which is part of Microsoft Office) to have different text etc. styles (if you don't have Microsoft Word and don't want to buy it, you can use a trial version.   I had problems with silmilar with my Pearl. I took everything simply remove the SD card and using a reader to directly connect with my computer.  Once I did a drag - move the files I want, I replaces the card in the BB.  I should mention that I have the 8130 with side slot for the SD card.  If you must remove the battery to get to the card, this process can become excessively boring. I do not know.

  Windows 7 doesn't have this built-in capability. There are third-party software multi-screen solutions.

  I also use two monitors and I think a better ioption is to use two screens wallpaper. It is an image large enough to cover both monitors. For example, I have two monitors set in 1680 x 1050 and I use a screen background image which is 3360 x 1050 and set the tile option. It's a cool effect.

  There are a lot of websites that offer these dual monitor wallpapers. Just use your favorite search engine and look for "wallpaper bi-ecrans".

  You change the ringtone for an application in the application settings.  Open the app, go to settings and find the ring setting.  You can change this in the email app and in the SMS applications.  You can even have a different one for each e-mail account.  With Handcent you can have a different view for each contact as well.  The thing to remember is that you must go in the settings of the application, no system of parameters.  If you need to know the specific steps for a specific application, just list the applications that you need help, and I can give you the steps so I'm familiar with it.  I hope this helps.

  With a new virtual machine you would just select the location for the new virtual disk when you create it. With an existing virtual machine, you could - with the virtual machine powered on and closed VMware Workstation (or at least tab of the virtual machine closed) - move the virtual disk files second to another partition and edit the .vmx virtual machine file and add the absolute path name of the virtual disk file.
