  I wish to inform you that Creative Suite 5 can be used on both machines. However, the serial number is always specific operating system.

  If you purchased CS5 for Mac so it will work only on Mac OS laptops and desktop. It is the same with Windows.

  You can always use it.  There is a possibility, it won't install/work on a newer machine, but you can certainly try and see.

  You can disable (help > deactivate) and uninstall your dying computer and keep your facility 2/activations.

  You can install and activate on two computers, but you are not supposed to use both simultaneously.  Adobe has imagined users using their Office adobe cs while at home and their laptop while traveling or using the suite to a home computer and work computer.

  I tried to install the creative application of cloud on my computer, using the creative cloud set up the tool. It gets to half way and then said: "creative cloud desktop cannot be installed. (Error code: 1).

  Search through these forums and Googling, I was not able to find any assistance that matches my problem. I have no adobe programs currently installed, that shouldn't be a problem. However, I used the cleaning tools and all that. I don't feel the question where people have bad update of the program. It is not installed on my computer at all.

  Until last week the Office has been upgraded to Windows 10. I don't like it so I restarted it to Windows 7. Now when I try to open my Adobe CS product he asks me to activate. It says "due to a change in the configuration of the system, we need to activate this product". Automatic online activation failed. The telephone numbers provided are not valid. The Web site is also not good because it gives error 400. When I talked to Adobe cat they me here directed to support for Photoshop 8 is no longer supported. I have still my records, my serial number and license key but still apparently I can't use my program without activating it, and seemingly impossible at this time. Any ideas or suggestions?

  I've never been able to uninstall a Windows program, so I can't give much help... but there is a way to get Adobe adjust your number of activations (and you are allowed 2 activations)
