  This error message is a bit misleading. What happened is that CS5 that was issued before the "custodian" is not "signed" and installation is blocked because it is considered to be "unreliable".

  Solution: Temporarily set to "Everywhere" and then open the dmg file.

  Hi Sushicrazy,

  You can install Adobe software on any number of computers but can activate on 2 computers only, which limits the use of the Adobe software on 2 computers but you can disable the software on a single computer and activate the 3rd machine and can continue the program that will allow to use the application on computer 3 but deactivation and activation need made.

  You can always use it.  There is a possibility, it won't install/work on a newer machine, but you can certainly try and see.

  You can only install and activate on, maximum 2 computers at the same time.

  You can disable (help > deactivate) and uninstall your dying computer and keep your facility 2/activations.

  You can install and activate on two computers, but you are not supposed to use both simultaneously.  Adobe has imagined users using their Office adobe cs while at home and their laptop while traveling or using the suite to a home computer and work computer.

  You simply enter the serial number of your trial version: help--> Activate. If that does not work, reinstall simply by using the DVD of your package.

  OK well I have a solution to my own question. I tried to install it on the USB and all I had to do was copy the folder on the desktop, and then install it from there. has worked well!
