Can I keep windows 7 and windows 8

So basically a few months ago, I bought windows 7 Pc world for a good amount of money. This came with 2 drives (32-bit and 64-bit) and 1 product key XXXXX-XXXXX and so on.

Now I have this installed on my current pc.
So my question is if I buy windows 8-implementation to date since the site Web of windows now who is using the same product key or it re-valid my product key of windows 7 to use in my other computer so I can have 1 pc with windows 8 and the other with windows 7 active?
Thanks Lewis

I would be very surprised if your PC came with 32 & 64-bit win7 disk.

And no you can't upgrade and then use the disks on a different PC/Installation

Windows 8 came pre-installed on a hp Tower pre-built, am now upgrading my computer (new Mobo, Cpu, Gpu, cases, etc.) and guard my drive hard, how can I keep windows? or I have to buy a new product key?

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

The problem description, I understand that you want to upgrade the hardware and need to confirm how can you keep your operating system.

In this case, I want to tell you that you want to keep your drive hard if you do not have to reinstall the operating system and that you upgrade the motherboard too and in the OEM version product key is integrated motherboard, so in this case, you may need contact system manufacturing to re activate your product key.

  • How can I keep windows genuine in my laptop after formatting hard drive?

    Hello
I have a dell laptop l502 with a premium windows home instlled in hard drive 7. now I need to format the hard drive, but how can I keep my windows 7? is it possible to save or I loss my windows genuine?

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

This will allow that you reinstall Windows 7 while maintaining a true.

Make sure that you back up your data before reinstalling:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how can I keep this email and separate personal e-mail?

I have two email from business enterprise server and a personal email account (bellsouth.net), Setup on my 9300.  The business enterprise e-mail and my phone log message under my regular icon "messages".  Personal messaging appears under the normal message icon and a 2nd message (envelope with a small globe) icon.

    1. keep my business and personal email accounts completely separated under different icons.

2 stop logging to my phone calls under the "messages" icon

    3. check my personal email only when I ask to, not automatically.

If anyone can help with this?

    Thanks in advance,

Open your folder Messages > Options > settings for the Inbox and you will see boxes letters to include in your main folder, and those who separate from your main folder.

2 stop logging to my phone calls under the "messages" icon

Open your call log by pressing the green call button > Options > Call Logging and Prépliez any registration.

    3. check my personal email only when I ask to, not automatically.

Is not possible. E-mail BlackBerry of RIM's push and pull not. You cannot set a schedule or do it manually.

  • How can I keep windows update to change the location of folders of rediredcted

My work computer is in a domain.  I am running Windows XP Pro SP3.  Due to the large size of the 'My pictures' folder I redirected it to on of my local readers rather than let him lie on our server (Windows 2003 SBS).  I also redirected "My music" folder on a local drive and the 'My Favorites' folder on the server where the "My Documents" folder is also.  It works very well without any problem, most of the time.  In some way, some, but not all, windows updates will change the location of the "My pictures" folder on the server.  When this happens, I know that as soon as I login after the reboot because it will take about an hour before the computer can be used.  The reason for this is that the folder is moved (not copied) on the server with a connection to ethernet 100 base-T.  My another stay of redirected folders where they are supposed to be, just the 'My pictures' folder is moved.  I tried to find all the registry entries that have to do with the location of this folder and found only two, those who originally, I changed to redirect the folder in the first place.  This has happened for the 4th time, when I greeted Windows Update to install the latest updates last night (13/02/13).  It becomes very boring and time would trust because I have to put the folder on the local drive and reset the folder redirection and the whole process takes about an hour, plus time lost after reboot.  Help please.

    Hi Steve,.

  • How can I keep WIndows 7 from sleeping in the middle of a backup?

If I have correctly start a backup from the console and leave the room, when I return from the computer is in standby.  When I wake up the computer, the backup will fail eventually.

I know that it is possible for an application to inhibit sleep system; iTunes seems to do that when I'm streaming internet radio.  I looked at the controls associated with the backup and I don't see anything wrong.

How can I prevent the system from falling asleep during a backup?

Looks like a Microsoft Developer, David Anson, has a work around:

  • BlackBerry smartphones can't keep not fresh and other problems...

    Hello

I'm having some trouble with my berry.

First, it will not keep its charge.  The battery lasts only 8 hours or more.

Second, I can send and receive texts.  Apparently, my ankles have been sent, but I don't much get pins, e-mails, facebook things back.  I received responses from the pins that noon last night, I sent.

This morning there was an animated hourglass in the center of my screen every 10 seconds.  It would be flash and disappear.  I pulled out the battery because this is the usual solution for everything, but the empty battery pins just faster and still no reception.

    Any help would be appreciated.

It does not mean you have too many applications installed, you can just have too open. You know when your using your PC and you have multiple windows open but you reduce them just so you can go back and fourth? It's a bit like that. Tell I open "notes." Then, I hit the Red hang up button to return to the home screen. I have to open "tasks". 'Notes' is always in the back. It is of course more crucial when you leave something open your browser that will constantly call data. To close properly the somerhing click on the menu button and select close or exit. To see what is open hold down the ALT key and press on and release the previous button. You cannot close the House, browser, messages, PTT, BBmessenger or by phone. Although I don't know if that alone caused your problem, but I'm glad that you guessed it work.

  • How can I keep all files and photo.

I have to save everything on my computer when loading windows 10. What is a good way to save him.

If you do an upgrade, no. If you perform a clean installation, Yes.

But whenever you take a big step, like changing versions of Windows, it is always wise to make sure you have an external backup of all important files for you. Things * can * fool you.

But more important still, your question suggests that you make regular backups of important files. If this is the case you have played with fire. It is always possible that a hard disk crash, the user error, close to love at first sight, virus attack, even stolen computer, can result in the loss of everything on your drive. As it has often been said, it is not a question of whether you will have a problem, but when.
