Can I open files in Photoshop or Bridge CS4 RW2?

I have a Mac OX 10.9.1 running. I have CS4 installed on my computer and I would like to know how to open the RW2 files in Photoshop/bridge. The camera I used is a Panasonic FZ40 Lumiz. I have Camera Raw version 5.7.0.213 installed.

Hello, the best on this issue is to google "Camera Raw taken in charge" so that you get this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

In your case, you must at least Camera Raw 6.2, compatible with CS5.

Fortunately for you, Adobe has developed the DNG Converter that can convert your RW2 in DNG files that Camera Raw 5.7 (*) will be able to open and process.

Get the latest version: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5695

(* and all fully compatible with the DNG specification programs that do not open the the FZ40 RW2)
