• Why can I not see my admin account?

  I tried to set up a password to protect a folder in my documents.  It seemed to work until after turning off the computer and restrating it later I could not see the admin log and my user accounts do not have the data of this file or music or other files in the admin account.  If I start the computer in safe mode I can log on to the admin account, but it does not appear when I start the computer in normal mode.  I have no password or recovery discs and am running XP pro.  How to do the admin sign in option available in normal mode?

  In Windows Mail, go to select Tools, accounts, your account email, properties, connection.  It shows for the connection?  You
  should leave this setting not selected, in which case Windows Mail will use the IE connection uses.
   
  In addition, under Tools, Options, connection, the first checkbox must be checked, and the second box unchecked.
   
  If everything which withdraws, but you still have the problem, the account may be damaged.  Remove account, restart Windows Mail,.
  then recreate the account.

• Can I default to the Admin account of a SE GBA without a recovery CD

  Hi - I have a soultion ACS 1111 engine. I used it mess autour with but now need to return it for store this need to default to get rid of the admin account. A TAC engineer, told me I can do the CLI but did not say exactly how.

  Is it possible to return the unit to the default settings of the CLI or what I need to get my hands on a recovery CD? The device is running 4.1

  You cannot restore the default configuration in the SE of the ACS. He had to use the recovery CD to recreate the image on the device.

  When you use the recovery CD or the orders:

  Attach a DB9 RJ-45 adapter to the serial port of the console.

  Configure your communication of terminal emulation software to run with the following parameters:

  You cannot set the password to "setup":

  If you provide the guy new username/password current, it could reset it using these commands:

  -To set the name of the administrator of the ACS, use the command set admin:

  If this is not the case, there was also the recovery CD to reset the password.

  B. do you receive this error only with firefox?

  Try to change the registry and check if it helps.

  1. go to "Start-> Run" (or press the windows key + R) and type regedit and click OK
  2. use the directory tree hierarchy to access the 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTP\shell\open\ddeexec '.
  3. delete the registry key 'ddeexec '.
  4. Repeat for 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\HTTPS\shell\open\ddeexec' (and any other protocol that you want to solve)

  Follow these steps.

  1. Click on the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Private life.
  2. In the drop down at the top, change it to "use the custom settings for history".
  3. Remove the check mark from 'remember search and form history'.
  4. Delete it also from 'delete history Firefox closing"unless you specifically want to delete. But if you want to leave in place, open the submenu by clicking on the 'Settings' button and decide in this menu that you want to keep.

• Can register on EM and Admin Console but not Analytics - down presentation server

  I installed 11G on Windows 7 Enterprise. I am able to sign on Enterprise Manager and the Administration Console but not in analytics.

  The presentation server is down and there is a message in the nqserver.log about a problem with the oracle.bi.security.service. I pasted the nqserver.log and the sawlog0.log file and the file nqsconfig.ini below.

  I checked the BISystemUser into the realms of Weblogic Administration Console/security/myrealm and reset the password.

  I also have to reset the password for BISystemUser in Weblogic Enterprise Manager/WebLogic Domain/Security/Credentials/oracle.bi.system

  Then restarted services.

  I checked to see that there's no lock on DEV_MDS and DEV_BIPLATFORM.

  I tried to restart the services on several occasions without any modification.

  I don't know what else to check or how to proceed. Is there anything else I should check to identify what I might need to the difficulty of obtaining this race?

  You were probably using the built-in account named "Administrator".  This account is not intended for use on a daily basis, but as an emergency backup.  If you use it every day, you run the risk of corruption - and might be stuck without a viable account with administrator rights.  For this reason, Windows XP automatically removes 'Administrator' from the home screen as soon as another account was created.

  You can always get the account administrator as follows:

  If you have XP Home, restart the computer Safe Mode by pressing the F8 key immediately after powering the completion test.  If you see the Windows logo, you waited for a long time to start tapping and you have to start over.  Once Windows starts in Mode safe, you will see the administrator account on the Welcome screen.

  If you have XP Pro, you can use Mode safe mode as above or, with no other connected user welcome screen, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE.  The 'classic' logon screen appears.  Type administrator as the user name and any password assigned you.  The default password is blank (no password).

  However, I strongly suggest that you stop using the account "administrator."  You can copy the preferences, appearance and the documents of the original ' administrator' account to the new one that you have created (although you will need to temporarily create another account with "computer administrator" privileges to make the copy).  For instructions, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811151 simply treat the administrator account of origin as "corrupt" account referenced in the article.

  A few days ago I started my computer and was taken directly on repair screen windows because my computer was seemingly impossible to start. I can post the exact hardware specs if anyone thinks that profile corruption could be caused by a hardware problem. When I have time I'll pop the case open and see if I can see obvious internal damage.
