  The clock() function only increments while your program is managed by the operating system. When the operating system switches to another task, "clock" your program stops running.

  You must use:

  clock_gettime(), which is the system clock that is still running.

• Software Simulation lines random question on slides

  I work in Captivate 9 and I have a few slides in my project which are software simulation slides.  I used the slide button to start the software simulation.  When I saw my software simulation in Captivate in HTML5, it looks great.  When I post for others to look at the ReviewMyElearning, there are random lines that go through the slides.  I tried recording on different browsers and even on another computer, and nothing has worked.  These lines went away after I re-recorded, but are back once again after I cleared my cache for an unrelated question.   These lines randomly through the slides of simulation are only on the last few slides, and are in the same place on each of the relevant slides.

  I just started developing my first javacard applet and I'm stuck with a few questions:

  • First of all, I would like to simulate the applet with the Eclipse plugin, but as far as I understand, most of the cryptographic primitives (1024-bit RSA, ECDSA,...) is not supported the JCWDE Simulator. I also tried jCardSim, which has great cryptographic support, but apparently does not support extended APDU... How to develop and test your applets?

  Is there a simulator that supports the specification complete javacard 2.2.2? For example, I heard about JCOPtool but did not find much info... Is there a simulator with full support?

  • According to certain specifications for the JCOP J2A080 javacard I found (http://www.commoncriteriaportal.org/files/epfiles/0674b_pdf.pdf), this card supports ECC on GF (p) for the keys up to 320 bits, as well as SHA - 256. This means that the card supports the signing mode ECDSA such as ALG_ECDSA_SHA256, given that this mode is not part of the specification of the javacard 2.2.2 API (as far as I can see: http://www.win.tue.nl/pinpasjc/docs/apis/jc222/javacard/security/Signature.html#ALG_ECDSA_SHA ).

  NXP has still the JCOP environment in active development, but he can't give everyone access to the tools. These tools include a simulator complete functions with debugging support. Maybe this isn't such a bad idea to contact them. For small amounts of cards, you must however try and find a dealer of the cards. A quick search on Google found to buy Smart SDK here, cards card base, JAVA, Mifare fingerprints digital... Note that as long as you don't block cards Manager or to destroy the cards otherwise, you can reuse the cards. Tests are normally made using the Simulator anyway.

  ECDSA with SHA256 can certainly be implemented on JCOP J2A80. Once again, please contact NXP for more details.

  I'm creating an assessment which has a variety of slides in normal question - and it also has simulations.

  Thus, for example, question 1 (slide 1) is a true/false question 2 (slide 2) is a multiple-choice questionnaire, question 3 (3-10 slides) is a simulation, issue 4 (page 11) is a true/false. That is the problem - the simulation is not "count" as an issue. The slides that I actually put in as 'normal' question slides all do. So the problem, this is when the user gets to question 4 (page 11), the slide still says 'Question 3 of 3' - that is, it is besides the simulation as a question.

  So, what I could do is to just all simulations at the end... but is there a better solution? Is there no workaround that I can use to 'make' the simulation appear / are counted as an issue?

  You will need to know that question slides are a little different, and indeed the meter for quiz counts only the 'real' question slides

  Solution: create your legend of appropriate text for Question slides and other slides. Although you can not put a few interactive objects on Question slides, you can always add a text caption. • Question on the simulation of 11g

  Forgive this newbie and the question of functionality personally not tested...
  
  I'm looking on simulations and see that I can set a duration for a definition of the simulation. I can give a moment of execution in months, days, hours, minutes and seconds. Everything is good so far. Question is about the use of that time when I run a simulation. Is the "real-time" or is it "simulated"? There are cases where I want to apply the rules of calendar and other factors where to simulate the day simulation time, weeks and confined in the image. I'm hoping to hear that time is "simulated" which means the computer simulation process as quickly as possible. That would allow me to get a simulation time of say 60 minutes done in something less than the current time. Anyone who has experience using simulations can verify that this is the case for me?

  The time is simulated.

  For completeness: you can choose ' run to the end ", where it will finish the simulation in seconds and just show you the results, or you can run the simulation 'normally' where you will see chips running through your process, the size of the queue and all. The time is always simulated, but not as fast.

  Yes it is. When the load simulator it will ask you to press [Enter] to select which device to start. You will have 5 seconds to press [Enter] when asked, otherwise it will be default Z10.
