  Hello!

  I was killing time and spending a few hours identification of faces pictured on my old MacBook Pro last night.  I agree with everything on the MacBook Pro with my new Mini via iCloud.  Faces I've identified are not displayed on the Mini.  Did lose a few hours?  Or am I missing some setting to 'share' the faces identified with the Mini.

  Faces are one of the elements that does not completely sync between Macs.  Your work is not completely lost. Keywords searchable faces can be synced to your Mac Mini, but not thumbnails of faces.  But you can search on your mini for the names you assigned and then quickly label thumbnails.

  If I click on an anchor, then I could see the handle associated with this anchor. However when I chose the direct Selection tool and drag to select several anchors, I can see anchors but no handle that presented themselves. I've tried CTRL + H, but he only hid himself and showed the anchors. Please help.

  There is an option in the preferences to display the handles when multiple anchor points are selected.

  Using Win Media Player 12.0 under Windows 7. After you have been using media player several years, never had a problem like this before. Both these problems have taken place in more than a month:

  (1) I can't create new playlists, or at least not that I can see. I am going through the steps of creating a new list, give it a name, to get the No. error MESSAGES, but then I can't see or use the new playlist. I know that it is there because at least some of the time, when I try to create a new playlist with the same name, it says, "the xxxxx playlist already exists. You want to overwrite it? »

  (2) in addition, can't remove most of my playlists, at least not those with numbers for the name of the playlist. (When I create podcast playlists, the names on the list are all numbers, which denotes the date.) I go through the steps to remove these playlists, once again, NO error MESSAGE, but the playlist is still there. I had a few old playlists starting with the letter 'Z '. Those I can delete.

  I just tried using Windows Media Player troubleshooting: "we have not identified any problems and that's why no fixes have been applied." So much for that.

  It's such a shame that this is not a stand-alone application, I could just uninstall and reinstall. Sigh.

  Suggestions? Maybe I should just look for something new, itunes maybe?

• can not see the size / used for desktop HD icon

  Then... I managed to get the main drive Macintosh HD appears in the sidebar of Finder and on my desk.  So far so good.

  And I managed to get the Finder View Options to show the size (and space still free if writable) to the drive and folder of the icons on the desktop.  EXCEPT...

  Right-click on the icon of the hard disk on your desktop.  In the submenu that appears, select "Show view Options".

  

  Then check "view point info.

  

  If this does not work as a first step, relaunch the Finder (-> force quit-> Finder-> stimulus), then try again.  You can also start your computer Safe Mode, follow the steps that I have described above and see if it works.  If this is the case, restart your computer normally, and then try again.

  If you access your Yahoo mail via Mac Mail application, in the Mail menu bar, click Mail > Preferences , and then select the display tab to assure you that:

  You should be able to, given the Mac Mini has the correct connections (in this case, a Thunderbolt connection).

  I have a problem with firefox. The problem seems to perist if I uninstall firefox and remove profile data, delete the plugin and even install firefox anew. I can't see tooltips. When I try to bookmark a page, I don't see the bokmark miniwindow. Similarly I can't display the registration password for page window. Two of them seem to appear randomly for a short time I move my mouse. I have this problem with firefox as the other programs/browsers are functioning normally, and I have now at least a week, don't you remember exaclt when, but it was not always the case.

  Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
