  Can I remove internet explore and use chrome instead? That is, crashes, to stop, resarts and slows my computor. I installed Google Chrome and have had no more problems. It opens and closes when I want it and going to the Web pages as I type in without hesitation. I like windows 7, I only have a problem with Internet Explore. It also caused changes in my modem. I need to uninstall the software and reinstall to get it working again.   It is not really a way to remove Internet Explorer.  I have not heard of the type of problems, you had with IE, but if you prefer Chrome and who works for you, all you need to do is to make Chrome the default browser.  I use Firefox and make it my default browser.  Once you make Chrome default you just leave Internet Explorer installed but it won't get used.  Following comes the site help Chrome and tells how to do it by default: http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=95417

  A week ago I lost the ability to access my comcast email account using firefox (which is the only browser I've used over the years). After entering my username and password it takes me to the infinite e-mail preview page. «From there on, I always clicked on either the "view whole email" link or simply click on the 'email' link and it would take me in my Inbox.» Now when I do this it returns me to the preview page. In fact, any link on the preview page, if clicked, simply refer me to the overview page. I deleted from my computer and re-downloaded firefox, and it does not change it. I had a computer technician to try everything he knows and can not do this job. Two of my friends use firefox and do not have this problem. I am now using chrome or internet explore and both allow me access to my comcast email account. I really prefer firefox and would l; IKE for this to be resolved. Help!

  I would try with Internet Explorer (and upgrade to IE9 in the process either as current as possible) rather than I have no problem whatsoever on Facebook, but it's your decision to make.

  In fact, your question is on Chrome and must aim instead of their support group as they know more about their products that we do here.   For general help, start here: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/?hl=en.  As they seem to be contact live support except through their forums, try: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/request.py?contact_type=contact_policy to join the forums and post your questions there.

  You can also try researching the issue with the help of Facebook: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/request.py?contact_type=contact_policy, but I think you will have more success with Chrome (like Facebook seems even more difficult to get a real support, but it's worth a try if Chrome does not help or waiting for a response from Chrome).  And Yes, to do this, you may need to use IE instead of Chrome to at least get in touch with Facebook (unless the issue is only limited access to your account and you can access their support pages).

  I think you can be confused bookmarks with thumbnails. If you click on the miniatures Page icon (the one above the bookmarks icon), you can delete a page by clicking on its thumbnail, clicking the delete page (icon of the Recycle Bin). Just make sure that you see the PDF file in Acrobat (rather than Acrobat Reader), you cannot remove the drive pages.

  I have a requirement.
  I show a dashboard page that contains a direct SQL query and a command prompt. Guest must make a multiple selection control.
  
  The SQL query is the following:
  Select user_name, user_id table_name from where user_id = @{presentation_variable}.
  
  The presentation variable will be declared in the guests, can I use it in the sql query.
  But when we choose multiselect control, it does not show the area where we can declare a variable of presentation.
  
  It allows us to declare the variable of presentation when we choose drop dwon control, in which a single value is selected.
  
  Can someone guide me how I can use multiselect with direct SQL query, then several values can be passed to filter results.

  I FVD Speed dial and Eversync installed on my Windows 7 laptop which I use for ages now and never had any problem. One of my speed dials is for my Gmail account, but I can't get into my email on my laptop which has Windows installed from Firefox or Cyrco 8.1 Although I can do without difficulty using Chrome and Opera. On this same laptop (ongoing enforcement W8) everything speed dials are great - it's only the Gmail that does not work and I get the following message:

  "The page is not redirecting properly".

     This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."
  

  I tried every simple troubleshooting guide I can find (including going in about: config and make changes there) but nothing works and it seems (from what I've read) does anyone else have this perculiar problem that I am experiencing.

  Gmail is one of the dials speed that I use most, it becomes really frustrating and I love this browser so don't want to abandon it, but if I can't solve this problem I'm afraid I'll have to.
