  Depends on what "type of plugin" you talk

  (1) If you are referring to NPAPI or PPAPI then it can be relatively simple.

  (2) If you are referring to the one built into the operating system, then you will need to uninstall the update of windows, like those who are pushed by Microsoft, however if you are on the original version of Windows 10 then this update will be forced down with you having no control unless you literally jump through hoops to keep it.

  (3) If you don't know not what version, then I suggest you run the uninstall program official adobe on this page Uninstall Flash Player for Windows

  and download an older version from this page (you will have to search and use google to determine which version is best for you) of the archived versions of Adobe Flash Player

  You really need to provide additional information such as the browser because it is extremely important, as well as the architecture of the operating system (use google)

  You are probably trying to install update and not full installer. 10.0.1 update can be installed only if drive X is in your system. Here you have Reader 9.4. You can update this Reader 9.4.2 and not 10.0.1

  If you want to install Reader X on Mac, go to http://get.adobe.com/reader

  This will download Reader X (10.0.1 full installer that includes the update) package on your system. Run the package to install the Player 10.0.1 on your system

  For some reason any unified Player 1.6.4 does not work correctly, when I use it on a specific site (the site is confirmed working for everyone). Games player for a few seconds, then black and audio continues to go. It worked on this computer before, but last week I upgraded flash to the latest version.

  Archived versions of Flash Player can be downloaded from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html; as eidnolb , these files are quite large, because they contain versions for all platforms.

  I always use SCSI Plextor CDR recorders for time real 1 X duplication speed burn. I tried windows 7 32 bit with the Adaptec 2930 controller which is supported (32-bit only) card. But windows 7 do not like these CDR drives. I had to reformat back to XP pro.
