  I have a BlackBerry 8830 and am using BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize with my laptop. The operating system is Vista Home and I sync with MS Outlook. I was able to sync without problem since getting the phone in the month of April. There are, all of a sudden a few days during synchronization, I get an error message Intellisync error message 'failed to complete request. In chekcing far I determined that everything except the calendar will sync. First of all, I used the original cd to 'fix' the Desktop Manager software. That did not help so I uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Which doesn't work anymore. Read the suggestions on this website I'm stuck when it comes to what to do next.  When I "view log" on the 'configuration' tab, the last two lines are:

  #-734 internal error.

  Cancelled translation.

  I came empty when I typed the internal error number in the search engine.

  I think it has something to do with a recurring appointment.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I would like to try to delete the intellisync folder and then try to synchronize again. This may or may not help. Here are the instructions:

  1. Close the BlackBerry Desktop Manager application.
  2. Disconnect the BlackBerry to the computer device.
  3. Double click on my computer > Local drive (C drive > Documents and Settings > (username) > Application Data > Research In Motion > Blackberry > Intellisync)
     • Note: If the Application Data folder is not present, click Tools > Folder Options in the upper part of the screen.
     • Click the view tab, and then click Show hidden files and folders.
     • Click apply > Ok and continue with the remaining steps.
  4. All remove in the Intellisync folder.
  5. Start synchronization BlackBerry Desktop Manager and the attempt of the device with the computer.

  I have setup my Blackberry 9780 (running version 6) to synchronize with my BTYahoo email and contacts with success, but the calendar is not just sync.  There seems to not be any interaction between the Blackberry calendar and BTYahoo.

  My service provider is O2.  O2 support said it is a known problem and I have to rebuild my Blackberry, but I hope for a less dramatic solution and one that seems specific to my problem rather than a generic answer to a problem.

  Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge about it?

  Note that via BIS, calendar wireless is available only for Gmail... not Yahoo. You can check a second time inside the e-mail on the device Configuration Wizard - if you change your Yahoo settings, tic-boxes for the OTA synchronization that is available there. If only the Contacts ICT - box is visible, then calendar is not available for OTA synchronization.

  I have a desktop of Windows 8 and the laptop and the phone. I'm using a Firefox app for my calendar so far. I exported data and imported into a calendar on calendar.live.com. I managed to sync with the calendar on my phone. I was able to create a reminder on a calendar and as it spread on the other.

  But I can't synchronize this data on my laptop or desktop calendars.  They simply empty. For the life of me I can not understand how to get them in the loop.

  I always use Firefox for my email and my email address is the identifier for all my different accounts, if that matters.

  To do this, simply connect the same account on your computer that you use on your phone.  In this case, since you use Calendar.live.com as source of calendar on the phone, it would be preferable to use the same account on your computer so that it is synchronized.

  While you can add an account directly from the application calendar, one of the best solutions is to connect your account online from Microsoft on your computer completely, rather than in a single application.  It is what I recommend and will describe below.  If you do not want to, please let me know and we can go the other route instead.

  1. On your computer Windows 8, press on + I, then choose "Change PC settings" at the bottom.
  2. In the users section, select the option to connect with a Microsoft account, then sign in using the same name and the password that you use at calendar.live.com.

  After that, the calendar app will start to display your calendar.

• QUESTIONS re blackBerry Smartphones: can not sync the calendar gmail for Blackberry Curve 8320

  My schedule for synchronization has been working very well, and then all of a sudden yesterday I noticed my appts to appear twice on my calendar.  Also, I can not one of my calendar entries to delete on my Blackberry!  I have:

  (1) things removed my BB off the coast and off my Gmail Calendar online (I do not use Outlook) to try to remove unnecessary items

  (2) I tried again and again sync but my BB will not be updated with the correct information

  (3) I removed synchronization automatic and that the BB to the manual synchronization only, then tried to Resync just the Pocket to remove all Pocket Calendar events

  (4) I have progressed in the calendar on my BB at a future date, then tried to delete all previous events

  None of these solutions have worked.  Can anyone help?

  Replace it a battery pull, while the phone is on, leave it for a minute, and let the machine restart 1-3 min.

  The T6500 is a 64-bit processor.

  As a result, you should have no problem upgrade from Vista 32 bit to W7 64-bit.

  You must start from the W7 x 64 installation DVD.  You cannot run it from a 32-bit windows desktop.

  When you get to the install window now and click Next, the upgrade option will be grayed out.

  You must perform a custom (clean) installation when moving from a 32-bit to a 64-bit operating system.

  I'm not quite sure on why it is said that you cannot move to W7 Pro if you can upgrade to W7 Ultimate.

  You can tranfer commercial versions, but not the OEM versions. An OEM version is only intended to be used on the computer that it is installed first. It is likely that the old license is an OEM version.
