  Hi, I have a series of PC HP Pavilion g6-1200 laptop with Windows 7 64 bit, I had to format my computer once by myself and had some driver issues.   We have a hybrid chassis of 1052 with a PXI-6221 (control of the special SCXI version) into the slot of the 8th and, while it allows us to access map of the SCXI-1540 module without problem, if I try to add the NI PXI-6221 to the list of data acquisition cards to read the definition of system files or I make reference to any channel in a task of analog input (custom device) it is telling me that the resource is reserved. When I list the card in the system definition file, it gives the error message even if I turn off the single-point support timed by the hardware.

  I went back to the documentation for the Web site and I couldn't find a place where it says you need a card PXI for controlling SCXI cards but that the PXI card controls became useless.

  That should really be a limitation in VS2011 because there are future news added since VS2011.

  And the reason why it works in the custom device could be the one custom unit as PXI6221 and SCXI1540 are separated internally in which the task and VS that it works in the same task.

  Then when it works properly in the custom device I recommend to use this way or other wise update to VS2013.

More specifically and, ideally, my façade would allow the user to select an old spreadsheet file to read, and these values of the worksheet would be poster. The user could then change these values to their liking and then submit those twisted values, such as a new file / replaces the old/etc. The important part is the the indicating and control playback in values.

  Need to wire the worksheet values in the local.  The control itself just watches.  What you have wired in your VI sets the control to its current value (of course, a bit pointless).

  My lab-fu is not strong enough to find an elegant solution for this. I can brute force of unbundling and indicators, then using the property noted separately on them... but I think there must be a better way!

  The attached VI is my best effort to solve this. It works, but I fear that it is not the best code for the following reasons:

  1. am I really allowed to point to elements of the façade at RT will be deployed this Subvi in one executable startup?

  2. If the Subvi is in a loop, what should I do instead of 'build array' in order to avoid the memory use? All examples use it I read so much about how I shouldn't... and what the functional alternative?

  Here's a version that uses the variant screws, will take care of any level of nesting and work on RT. The use of Delete of table and table to build is not too efficient, but should not be a problem if you only run this once when the program starts. If you use the Type Cast to convert a cluster in a table as shown here, all numerical values should have the same representation (IE do not mix single and double-precision floating points, or integers (ints) and floating point values), otherwise you will get weird data without warning or error.

  

  Also, your original code had a displacement uninitialized register. Pay attention to that - if you were to run this code twice, the second time that the table of data labels would be twice longer as it should be, because the shift register would be initially contains the values in the first round.

  This looks like what signals are useful for, when it is connected with the option QueuedConnection. I don't have a link for you, but I'm sure that you can get with this description.
