  Assuming that you have enough free disk space on the host ESXI 5.1 data store, I suggest you that you load the multiextent module as shown in the link, I posted and then clone the virtual disk using the vmkfstools command line utility.

  Illustrator could be a great asset to your workflow however. You can create all your graphics in Illustrator and then export the png files to be placed in PowerPoint.

  I have a friend who specializes in e-Learning presentations and she did exactly that. If you are interested, here is a link to his behance portfolio. 100% of its graphics are created in Illustrator, exported to png files and placed in PowerPoint for presentation.
