Can I use Esc as a shortcut key?

I use 4 Captivate to publish the .exe files.  The software I am simulating uses the ESC key as a keyboard alternative to having to click back to the screen with your mouse button.  I create fine click boxes and can select Esc as hotkey without problem.  The problem comes as well listen to extracts and in the publication .exe - if the user uses the ESC key, it escapes them the program!  (I have other boxes click with function keys as shortcuts and they work, so I'm fairly certain that I am doing things.)

Is it possible to use Esc as a shortcut key?

If it makes a difference, the files will be published to an LMS in the end... I just publish as .exe for review until the new LMS is up and running.

Thank you!

Hello

As you have seen, the Esc is the key combination to close an EXE file. When you publish the SWF format for insertion in the LMS, it should work well.

See you soon... Rick

If you use a good Windows Pro 8.1 installation media. Initially from Microsoft published Windows 8.1 with installation media incorrectly , which rejected the product keys for Windows 8. The Windows 8.1 with update 1 Pro .iso will accept and activate with a product key Windows 8 Pro:

  • Can I use my Windows OEM product key on more than pc?

Windows 7 OEM on two computers

Hi, I recently built a computer and I bought a copy of windows 7 64 bit OEM OEM. I use it of course on the new computer, but I have a desktop HP with Windows 7 64 bit OEM on it too, I need to reinstall windows on the HP and I was wondering if I could use the HP OEM code, but the drive I bought for the other computer to reinstall. Thank you.

If the drive OEM from Microsoft is the same version as the key product you already have - Yes, you can use the other installation disk to reinstall Windows (example: the drive and the key must be Windows 7 Home Premium).

Note 1: You can only use the OEM key on a single computer, OEM can not be moved to another computer. You must use the key to your HP computer on this computer.

Note 2: You cannot use an OEM recovery disk that came with another computer to reinstall Windows - OEM recovery disks are only valid with the computer, with which he came.

Case of failure of the online activation:

Call Microsoft use the manual phone Activation

Note: If you always install Windows page enter your product key, do not enter your key and uncheck the "Automatically activate when online" then click OK/next to complete the installation.

    1. start by clicking on the start menu, and then type: slui.exe 4

    2. press enter on your keyboard

    3. Select your country.

4 Select the telephone activation option, enter the number, do not select all options and wait for a person pick up, then explain what happened.

HP also has several options to reinstall Windows on their computer:

When restore you to factory State, it will be like it was when you bought first - all preinstalled programs will be installed. Everything you have installed after purchase needs to be reinstalled. This removes all the personal files on the computer, save them first.

  • Classic BlackBerry can you change the notification profile shortcut key?

The 'Q' key changes from Normal to silent profile. Is it possible to put it allows to select another profile?

    HI @derek1012

At the moment of switching between Normal and silent is supported only by using the Q shortcut.  I will share your comments with our product team for future consideration well.

The quick settings menu option will scroll as an alternative, you can customize the profiles of school boards.

To do this, go into settings followed by Notifications. and along the toolbar at the bottom, press quick settings. By default, normal and silent are archived, but you may want to check other profiles. This will allow that you switch between them quickly using the quick set menu by tapping on the Bell icon instead of the text label (tapping the text label opens the Notification settings, while tapping on the Bell icon only happen between the profiles that you have specified).

    I hope this helps!

  • How many times can I use the Windows XP Professional key?

    Hi all

I know there are tons of answers there, but the answers are all different.

I bought two copies of WinXP Pro 3 years for $100 each.

Since then, I used the keys to many times since I had and have several different computers.
I would just format a model when I catch a virus if I get new hardware, etc.

I read on a forum that people can use the internet to activate about 30 times a button.
    Some say that only once.

What is the right answer? I know that I used it at least 5 times on each key.

Main reason I ask is because I want to buy Windows 7 and upgrade all my comps finally.

Upgrade from version and the full version of different in the activation process of Windows 7?
Since I have Windows XP Original, I would get the upgrade version, but if it is different from the full version, I would buy the lot.

    Thanks in advance!
    Mike

You can move a copy to the detail of Windows to another computer. You can not have it installed on two computers at the same time, however.

  • Can I use Windows XP OEM product keys to re - install Windows on the computer?

the flags that come on computer lists, product key. I have 2 rounds of office with these tags, but there are no hard drives in them. can I reinstall the hard drives and use these product keys to get my old computer working again?

    original title: xp product key

    Hey Warren,

In my view, the windows license is linked to your motherboard. You can install / reinstall windows XP with the same license / product key that its meant to be on the same computer n number of times.

    I hope this helps.

  • Can I use my Vista 32 bit key for activate Vista 64-bit?

I want to upgrade my Vista 32 bit OS to 64-bit. My computer came with Vista Home Premium 32 bit pre-installed but I want to run a 64-bit OS so I can enjoy the benefits as the increase in the capacity of RAM. If I can get a copy of a disk of Vista Home Premium 64 bit and I want to know if I can use my OEM key for activate Vista 64-bit, if I had to do a full clean install?

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
Yes, you can use the same key, but make sure that the installation is performed only once and a 32-bit parallel installation with the same key on other computer should not exist.
You must perform a clean installation only and upgrade/downgrade cross-architecture (32-bit to 64-bit or vice versa) is not supported.
  • Can I use a number of product key finder instead of the number on the sticker to reinstall windows vista Home premium?

The sticker on the bottom of the laptop is half faded way so I don't have the original full product key number, the one I have from a product keys finder is different of course it will still work when you perform a full system restore?

If your Vista is pre-installed when you purchased your computer, you have an OEM version. The only correct product key for your computer is attached to your computer.

The game of product key that you got through the software 'key finder' will NOT work for you.

Contact the manufacturer of your computer. Ask what follows...

    1. a set of recovery disks. The cost is minimal, and the money will be well spent. You can use the set to restore your computer to factory State.

    2. ask to talk to a technician. Ask technology to teach you how to access your recovery Partition and use it to make the recovery of the system. They installed the recovery partition, not Microsoft. They know exactly how to use it.

The advice above do not require using the product key.
