  Hi guys because I switched to version 6 of BlackBerry, I can't have the page that allows me to switch a WiFi WAP, before I made the switch there is an option called something like 'hot spots' or something and also the possibility to access my wap real operators , I spent several hours of frustration looking for this page but still no luck.

  I paid my operator for the internet, but it's like I'm losing my money if I can only use it via wi - fi at the moment.

  Just took the battery out and has been replaced, now internet works without wi - fi, I suppose that sometimes it's the simplest things that work

• Satellite A300 - does not connect to the secure network to WPA

  Help please... new Toshiba Satellite A300 - running XP Professional with atheros AR9281 (driver 7.6.0.200) wireless network adapter will not connect to the secure networks, WAP, but seems to be fine with the WEP and non secure networks?

  I can connect to my WAP secured network using LAN cable and also if I use an external Netgear wireless adapter, so the problem is probably with this adapter or driver. I updated the bios and tried update driver, but no luck. Current driver is (I believe) more up to date?

  Please you not to Apple here. This is a user forum. You have not described exactly what happened on your device? $ 299 is the price of replacement under warranty. Very probably are physical damage happened.

• Change password on WAP54G

  I use a linksys WAP54G distribute throughout my house to my ISP router wireless is not wireless. I tried to change the password on WAP, but somehow I can't access using the default IP and the password. Unfortunately, I have reset the linksys and it now shows the security settings as long as it is open and I can't make sure that I can not access the WAP. Nothing I have tried seems to work. Can someone advise on how I can re - activate a secure all network by changing the password?

  I just moved and got a new PC. I lost my installation cd I used on my old PC. The GPA is currently working on my home network, but there is no protection as WEP. My PC does not display the WAP as material for drivers are useless to me right now. Here is my configuration:

  It looks like you want a network like this:

  modem - router cable - WAP1)))

  SSID: even on the two WAP1 and WAP2

  SSID broadcast: enabled on both

  encryption method: even on the two

  encryption key: even on the two

  channels: different on each WAP.  You can choose any 2 channels but ideally, they would be at least 5 channels apart.  Usually channels 1, 6 or 11 are working perfectly.

  Your computer will automatically connect to WAP with the strongest signal.  You can "move" from one WAP to another, however, it is best to do this when you are not actively downloading information.  This configuration would not interfere with file and/or printer sharing.

  Your customers can also connect using WAP 1.1, WAP2 or direct TCP. I would recommend that you try WAP2 first, this requires no info gateway APN or WAP. You can get the WAP2 info directly from the maintenance book.

Until I upgraded, everything worked well, including BRI and my internet. Once I upgraded my browser missing icon, but I can still use my WAP browser to access the Internet. I can send/receive emails and use BB app world, but the Facebook app will not work. I need to know how to recover my BIS!

• E3000 WAP / would like to old WRT300N can provide a stronger signal

  I recently replaced WRT300N router / WAP with E3000.  Low signal in our basement.  I have CAT5e cable that goes down to the basement where I would place the WRT300N in a certain type of client mode so that it will provide a signal more stronger and better access.  I know that I must be sure that DHCP is handled exclusively by the E3000.  Beyond this simple step, I don't know how to proceed.

  WRT300N material is capable of that?  If Yes, can someone provide instructions step by step on how to do this?
