Can not extract music from a CD using Windows Vista media player 11.

I have windows Vista... 32-bit. Recently I not was able to rip music CD to my computer using windows media player 11. I can always open and watch DVD movie. When I go and select Rip it just is there and nothing opens. He will play even not audible a CD. It is once again, only occurring not music videos.

You can try the suggestions to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982116 . Especially remove the drivers and then reinstall them can solve the problem. Tim Baets

You can try the FIXIT from Microsoft to see if it will deal with your problem with no sound.
