  I've been looking for a solution for a long time but no answer. My laptop Lenovo R500 27175GU, OS is XP pack 3. Audio device is Conexant 20561 Smart Audio HD. The problem is I can not save the background music but can record microphone (IE I can not record sound from the speaker). When I explore the Volume control, I see that I have just two mixer device: Conexant HD Audio Output, Conexant HD Audio Input. When go to Conexant HD Audio Input, I have only microphone for recording. Can anyone help me solve this problem so that I can record the speaker, please let me know.

• LaserJet P1606dn: does not print the background of the page number of manual

  I use the HP Laserjet P1606dn printer.  I am trying to print the user's Guide the HP for a new printer HP Officejet Pro 8620.     The manual is in PDF format.   When you view a page of the manual on the computer screen, the page number appears at the bottom of the screen.  Unfortunately, when printing the printer manual HP Laserjet P1606dn, the page number is not printing.  I tried to use the SHRINK TO FIT to the Laserjet function, but that does not print the page number.

  Any advice on how to print the page number would be welcome.   Aaron

  Thank YOU FOR YOUR QUICK RESPONSE!   PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED.  I TRIED TO PRINT THE GUIDE THE USER DIRECTLY FROM THE WEB SITE THAT DID PRINT NOT PAGE NUMBER.    I DOWNLOADED THE MANUAL IN THE MEMORY OF THE COMPUTER AND THEN PRINTED THE GUIDE FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.   THE PAGE NUMBER DID PRINT WHEN YOU PRINT FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.    WHY IT WORKED, I DON'T KNOW, BUT CELA WORKED.

  With this new version, 29.0.1, it became difficult to read the tabs in the background. I now have in my eyes to read the tabs of the strain. I checked under options to see if there was a way to do this with no luck. I never had this problem with previous versions, 1-28! Why this change? I actually tried different themes, but they all had the same problem, unless I went to a dark theme but dark themes are difficult to my eyes. Roll the cursor over the tabs does not help much either. As a user, we should be able to make things easy to see and read. Perhaps the ability to control the level of transparency (0-100) would be nice. Sometimes I have more than a dozen tabs open.

  I don't know what happened, but I had somehow the virus/trojan thingy goingonearth.com... I don't even know if it has nothing to do with my problem. I know that since discover and try to remove the virus/trojan said, I experienced a few problems:

  2. When you delete a file, I noticed the associated picture icon is black (photo).

  3. I can't change my desktop image using the photos, I can however change the solid color black color I want OR I can use a canvas photo and set it as my desktop. The icons below the screen background images is empty as well (photo).

  I can assure you that I unchecked the "always show icons, never thumbnails" option in the Folder Options under control panel (photo).

  ANY help would be appreciated, it drives me crazy.

  2 is this problem specific to Windows Live Mail? Have you checked the issue with other applications such as Internet Explorer or Microsoft Word?

  If the problem is specific to Windows Live Mail, you can publish the application in instances of Windows Live Mail.

  I have to review the manuals online here and I googled for them as well.

  Nobody seems to have an official repetitive image for the M712 default rule page.

  My impressions can repeat the points that occur each 1.75 "or 44 mm.

  Looking at an older manual for a different model of printer, a HP 5100, this repetitive error indicates a Toner Cartridge primary charging roller.

  Since most of these parts are internal to the toner cartridge, I've already replaced a new cartridge of HP brand. No help.

  Most replaced suspect parts with a kit of maint merger, no help.

  I can assume either us:

  -a got a refurb had somehow HP ink cartridge or

  -a got another somehow cartidge PROBLEM or

  -the charge roller is NOT located within this model of printer toner cartridge and my roll charge elsewhere in the printer

  First try a System Restore and see if that helps your situation.  If you get to windows to do a system restore when you start start pressing F8 until you get the Windows startup options.  Then try "Last known good configuration" see if that helps and let us know.
