Can't access my administrative privileges... ! ? "

Hey guys...

need an answer to imidiate to this cause of the issue, it's serious. To install an application I have asked me is the Installation Manager to disable my antivirus (namely quickheal). Now, my antivirus already had expired years ago and I did not renew it so I just went their disable it but to my misfortune, it turned out that I have to renew the application to access the app so limit me from disabling the antivirus. So, no left options I went to c: drive/program files to uninstall the application, but which proved that even clicking the uninstall.exe several times it would not open and allow me to uninstall. I even tried Control Panel, but still no results. So, not a choice left, I had to remove it manually so I just tried to delete, but when I tried said "permission administrator". Now I know I am only administrator but not a system administrator so I just right click on my antivirus folder and went to properties/security/owner where I tried to make me the owner of the network admin but I was still limited to do this. Pathetic, I've been chosen the c player and removed all active administrators who can get full access to it except my own profile so that I can access only entirely, but when I did it said it could damage my admin powers but still I made. Now my horrors, many errors went up to meet to remove not only all administrators including also system administrator, but also now entirely restrict me to access the c: drive and make any kind of changes in my pc (as nothing install, create an account, uninstall app or even open my locker staff bit.!). Now there's them no difference between a guest account and my account and looks that another pc, you can find at your office or your coffee.
So, this is my humble request to you all, please help me on this... it is really important for me to go like that...
just to know, my operating system is 32-bit Windows 7 ultimate.
Please help me on this fast...

Now, I know that I am only administrator but not a system administrator...

-> Under Windows, all administrator accounts are equal. No's 'more equal' than any other.

I just right click on my antivirus folder and go to properties/security/owner where I tried to make me the owner of the network admin but I was still limited to do this.

-> You have already been a system administrator.

I've removed all active administrators who can get full access

-> Bad move. At all times, you must have a spare admin account.

Please help me on this

-> You should now use your system repair CD to start the computer in Repair Mode, and then use system restore to undo the damage.

My old system of death so I bought a new system.  I put the old master drive in an external USB enclosure so I could access all of my data.  Problem is the My Documents folder, which belonged to an administrator account was encrypted, so I can't access any information on this issue, even if I'm there access as an administrator.  I am running XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3.

The only way that the documents could have been encrypted using encryption XP native EFS is if 1) the old system worked XP Pro; or (2) if the third-party encryption was used. In this case, you would have had need back up your certificates of encryption on removable media. If you do not, then the data is lost forever.

However, if you a not actually encrypt your files and everything simply made my private Documents and you get an error "Access denied", all you have to do is take ownership of the files.

I created two accounts on my computer an os win xp, administrator of one and the other. My computer does not show me the two accounts on the login screen so I get no option to connect to my administrator account. It automatically goes on the second account. What can I do to fix this?

    Hello

Under normal circumstances XP Home does not have the single account defined to be anything other than an administrator account. If she did, then you might get caught in a situation that requires an administrative account to rectify but do not have a.

If you need an account to access for some reason, you'll be...

Create another administrator account, after which you can change "Mr. Hernu" to limited

    ... or...

    Create another account limited

On behalf of Mr. Haroon (or any other administrative account) must be able to all the administrative tasks, including adding or remove programs.

I hope that clarifies your situation.

For your information, there is an administrator account in XP Home called Administrator, but it is only accessible by starting in safe mode. I wouldn't recommend using this account for anything other than to emergency situations.

In regards to your problem of disk space, 20 GB is virtually nothing these days. I'm not surprised that you run lack of space. Will help to run Disk Cleanup (start - all programs-Accessories System Tools), but that might only postpone the need for a bigger hard drive.

Please follow my previous advice (I added to edit) about the issues you are experiencing deletion of programs.

  • After an update of windows, I can't not access my administrator account.

    Original title:
    windows update
After a windows update, I can't access my administrator status.  It does not recognize my password.  Other work of accounts and passwords.  How to regain access?

    Hi Gwen,

As other accounts work correctly, try to connect to any of the user account that has permission to the administrator and change the password of the account that fails to connect.

See the following suggestions to change the password:

    1. open a session any account administrator on the computer.
Note: You must be logged in as an administrator in order to change the password of the account another.
2 click Start, type Control Panel in the search box, click on Control Panel and click user accounts.
3 click on Manage another account.

    4. If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes (if connected as administrator) or enter the administrator password (if connected as a standard user).
5 select the user account that you want to change the password.

    6 click change the password.

7 type the new password once, twice to confirm the new password, an index of passwordoption, and then click change password.

8 when you're done, you can now close the change to an account window if you wish.

    I hope this helps.

I can't access the administrative account. I forgot the password for this account.
There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
    • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
    • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
    • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
    • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
  • Created 2 standard user accounts and now the admin account is inaccessible. How to access my administrator account?

I have Vista Edition Home Premium.  I got the account administrator and only called 'everyday', which were both available on the Welcome screen.  I was usually you log in to the admin account for my daily use of the computer, but realized that it was a bad idea.  I created a new account, he made an admin account and called "administration".  I changed then the administrator account, I had used so far for a standard account and named it 'everyday', which makes the account would connect you to our daily use.  Finally, I created a new standard account called 'secondary' for my husband to use.

Now, when I turn on the computer, only accounts that I am able to connect in the Welcome screen are 'everyday' and 'secondary '.  I tried to find articles that would already be answering my question, but good solutions I've seen do not work or are not completely suitable for my situation.  I know the administrator account exists, I don't know how to connect to it.  How can I access my administrator account now?  Things like system restore and cmd / 'run as administrator' failure because I don't have privileges admin so I can't even begin to perform these tasks.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Can't access all files

I have a new Windows 7 Professional installed on a new Dell computer. The system is only three weeks. Since the first day I couldn't access many of the records on C:\. Here are some of the folders I can't access the Administrator security: Trash, Documents and settings, all users, and the user by default, etc, etc. I tried to go to the tab titles to properties, advanced selected and permissions then effective. I added my name diary and attempted to close. The errors I've met are the following:

I already had this subject for discussion, but it was recommended that I ask the question because I would like to get more traffic. So far, I have only one answer. I can't understand what I am doing wrong, please help.

All these answers are system files or folders that you do not have or do not access directly. Some are blocked because of UAC (User Account Control) that is here for your own protection.

  • How can I view the administrator account, which is not even in SafeMode (Windows 7)?

I was instructed to set up a Windows 7 PC. It has been used before, but I don't know by whom or how it was used. In order to do a bit of setting up I want, I need access to the administrator account. I have an account that is in the group administrator, Admin, but the account itself seems to be hidden or missing. It does not appear when I boot in safe mode. How can I access the administrator?

I found my own answer. The administrator account is disabled. Enable it, run the policy group, then Configuration Editor Local computer--> Windows settings security settings local policies--> security-> accounts options-->-->:--> Enable Administrator account status.

After that, I was able to connect to the administrator.

Method 1: I suggest you try the steps in the Microsoft Knowledge Base article and check.

  • Vista administrator privileges is FUBAR, can help you with suggestions.

OK, so here is the story.

I have a homemade PC for my teenagers. It became slow and bogged down
down (they really loaded it with garbage)... then I copied off
important documents and did a clean install with Windows Vista Edition basic family.

I created my daughter as the only user (by default).

After that all updates and things were running, they decided
that they both wanted to separate accounts, no problem.

So I made a user for my son, so I thought I better protect this PC a
little and made myself a user account as well.

I then used my administrator account by default girls to change user
parameters and give me administrator privileges.

I then changed its settings to remove administrator privileges.

Restart and voila, all together, no?

    Evil.

The system only allows me to perform administrator functions
When you are connected to my user account, I have no idea why.

The worst thing is that it also does not allow my daughters user account
    to have an Administrator privelages.

Basically, he couldn't give me admin privelages and yet correctly
    removed his admin privelages.

Therefore, I can't change anything to the computer, cannot be installed
programs, cannot change all settings, can not update users...

He won't let me do anything, even if I right click Run as
Administrator (request a password that does not work using either
    my girls or mine)

I can not install any programs, as it still does administrator password
the box pop up asking for a password has no field to enter a.

I returned and removed the passwords of all users.

Same problem, it is always ask password when you try to install
any software or change system settings.

It won't let me even go back to a restore point, because it requires a password.

I tried to access the command prompt and enter what is hidden
    files of the administrator.

    Guess what?

It's true, that it won't let me activate it by one of the user logons
as said you must have administrator privileges and none of
    make them.

OK fine, I give up, somehow, I screwed here, to take the pain
and re-install and go through the hours of reupdating...

Not so fast, now I found another problem.

When the computer reboots, the computer sees the keyboard (USB) up to the
    Windows is running.

Without recognizing the keyboard, I can't interrupt the boot sequence
to tell it to boot from the CD/DVD drive.

I am able to enter the BIOS to tell him to just boot from the
the CD/DVD drive, but it still gives me the option of Vista and the timer starts

and can not be interrupted as it recognizes not all keyboard commands.

I found an old USB adapter to PC I had and tried to connect the
keyboard to that instead of a USB key.

It doesn't always recognize the keyboard during the initial startup sequence.

I tried 3 keyboards in all USB slots, same story, is not
recognize the keyboard, so I can't interrupt the boot upward to install
    of the disc.

If I let him continue it starts very well Windows Vista and all the
    devices work fine.

It won't just not let me do the administrative tasks at all.

    Talk about uptight.

I can not install anything, I can't change anything, and now I can't
    even reinstalling Vista.

Tell me please that someone has a suggestion that is not too
    technically difficult.

I need your help if you guessed it!

Well nothing of such things seems to work, but I got the chance of a solution that I forgot.

I went back into the BIOS and found that USB keyboard and USB mouse have been disabled, for this is why the keyboard would not work during the boot manager.

I went and endabled them and then the keyboard would work to let me interrupt the boot upward.

    Now, here's something.

When I booted in safe mode it put the 'hidden' on the desktop administrator account.

I have connected to this administrator account and immediately changed each administrator user account.

Restarted in normal mode and my problem was solved!

Thanks for the help, hope this answer helps others.
