  When you say that printing does not, what exactly are you seeing? Your impressions too dark, or is it a color shift?

  Can you tell us in detail the process that you use to print the images from Lightroom? Lightroom handles colours? You have color management turned off in the print driver? There are many possible factors here, so we'll have a few details and we will try to help.

  Here is an example of the LR print Module. I have:

  1. Choose a printer/paper for my specific device profile and paper instead of "Managed by printer."
  2. I have disabled color management in the printer driver dialog box

  Do you mean 'Folder', instead of 'file '? If so, select the folder in the library Module, right-click and select the option 'synchronize the folder. This should then compare the photos already imported from the folder with the photos currently in there and give you the ability to import new photos in the LR catalog.

  The quick solution is to click on the folder that contains the missing files and choose "update folder location" and then search for the file on the USB drive. The longer term and fix, you must apply is to configure Windows to always give the same drive letter USB. You can do this through the XP disk management application in the management of the computer (the control panel applet). The following screenshot is for XP and Vista and Win 7 will be something similar which is accessed via the administrative tools (see second screenshot).

  

  

• Can't get through SPDIF, only stereo audio 5.1

  Hi all

  I just did a new install of Windows 7 and I can't get sound from my rear speakers SPDIF using Creative XtremeMusic card.

  I installed the latest drivers from creative website (SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0013). In the creative control panel audo, I exverything install because I think it should be. speaker 5.1, external decoder under settings of the decoder system and digital I/o under the entry.

  What I get on my speakers, is that the rear sounds are played on the front speakers. My receiver says Dolby Digital 8 [3/2.1], so the digital output of map entering work, but I don't get 5.1 only a 2.1 or stereo as far as I can make out. I use 2 different sound sources, PowerDVD 8 with some DVD 5.1 and also testing Windows DTS Dolby & under the control panel. Both give the same results, 2.1 or stereo sound.

  Any ideas on what I might be missing or why the rear speakers aren't currently. I tried unistalling/re-installing drivers. It worked on my previous installation of vista. Any help is appreciated!

  Hi Odie1978, what are the new drivers of Creative? I always see the same ones of June for X - Fi card series on their Web site. Microsoft released new drivers have today as well?

  Yes you are right, it is June 1... but I found 1 using the explicit and manual on the bottom part placed windows 7 64 bit. We found it with the configuration manager that I downloaded with it and it worked.

  I upgraded from Lightroom at Lightroom 6 5.7.1 (stand-alone desktop on a Mac under OS X version 10.9.5).) I bought LR 6 so I could read the new camera RAW files. For this I need LR 6.2.1

  When I installed LR6, he installed version 6.0. When I tried to update to the latest version using help - > update in Lightroom, it launched the Adobe update that says that all apps are up to date, which isn't true. I then installed the creative cloud app and even helped-> update and then launched creative cloud that does not also update.

  When I downloaded the manual patches, if I downloaded 6.1 or 6.2 and 6.2.1 it wouldn't update and gave me an error message:

  Even if I bought it just this weekend, Adobe would not talk to me on the phone or chat (person phone: "we do not handle stand-alone versions" and cat guy: "we only deal with facilities, no updates after that it has been installed".) It is a very poor service by Adobe.

  If you still get problems, try creating a new account of a user with administrator privileges. Then try the updtaes for this new account. If the update works from there which will update the software for all users and then you can move to your regular account.

  I finally answered my own question... with help with the IT quy I live with that.

  Looks like I deleted somehow the link to the file where imports my test lived. When I chose a new place to direct my imports it worked very well. Then, user error and I don't really know what I've done, but at least I know that works import and I just need to understand my filing system by paying attention to what I do as I learned this.
