  You cannot use YouTube videos in iTunes. Videos must be one of the following specific formats: .m4v, .mov or .mp4 (no Flash, Realvideo or WMV). In the Ricky Gervais podcast files are mp4. Files can be hosted on an ordinary web server, but it must be able to manage "byte range requests", something you would need to check with the people who run it.

  Please try to install with a stand-alone Installer. Here is a link to try the download from:

  After clicking on this link, install this software. If this does not work, you then reset IE. In Internet Explorer, go to tools, Internet Options, and then choose the last tab called Advanced, then click the button "Reset". This will restore IE back to the default values. YouTube videos should now be read correctly. Let me know if it worked or not.

  I've just updated my Flash Player to the latest version and Youtube is now working well once again, no more crashes when I go from a Youtube video to the other.

  Just to add, the reason for which that I don't update before was like many others I had many problems with Flash in the past has kept the version that worked well for me.

  I still feel the arised only problem because of the 35 Firefox constant POP UPS that started this problem in the first place and I'm sure that many others will find the same problem in the next few weeks, so I hope that my solution will be of other assistance also.

  Check the mute switch on the side of the iPhone. It is located just above the Volume buttons.

  Also try settings > sounds > < RINGER AND ALERTS > > move the slider to the MAX > change with buttons > Toggle Off
