Original title: return to xp from w7 I need the internal registration option

I bought a computer laptop compaq 615 with w7pro installed on it.  I have since discovered that for some reason any microsoft removed internal records "what you hear" function so I now can not record audio streaming and cannot also sound route from one program to another, which, as I'm involved in music, is something I have to do.  for example, I wanted to send audio from ableton live to visualjockey but w7 doesn't let me do that. I wanted to also allows you to record with camstudio but w7 will not realize any record audio.  It seems really stupid and now I can't do a lot of things I used to do on my old laptop with xp

is there a way to get around this? I'm using the latest drivers.  If I reinstall xp on this laptop is going to find the "what you mean the feature? or y at - there a patch or something that I can use Microsoft?

    Thank you very much

My understanding is that stereo mix is only available on some sound cards. You can try the steps on this wire to turn on the stereo mix:
    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itpromedia/thread/73415150-ec9b-44EA-8119-a2ea4f901ca0

If you don't see it after showing devices disabled and disconnected, it is possible that an update of the driver of the manufacturing may add this feature in the future.

  • Satellite P500: Audio "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix available?

I am a member of a seniors computer club and they lent me the Toshiba P500 model PSPG8A computer so I can set up events for some meetings, this computer running Windows 7.

One of the characteristics of the P500, I am to research is Audio "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix" as I will need to capture from the speakers.

All I can find for recording is the built-in microphone, no line or other controls, I've never seen so little on a computer before.
This computer has "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix", if so how do you access them?
The audio cards are only Microphone and headphones.

If the computer does not have these characteristics, if someone could suggest what external alternatives I have to allow this computer to record directly to the speakers.

As I do not have a user manual, could you please indicate where I can download it from, have looked but can not find on the web.
    kevsim

    Hello

I put t know what P500-xxx you have exactly, but P500-10J, which belongs to the series of PSPG8E does not support the Line In, or out of line
The laptop seems to support HDMI out jack and head phone microphone port.

I downloaded the manual for this series of laptop and other audio jacks are not mentioned
It seems therefore that the function that you requested is not available :(

  • Audio capture lost "what you hear" of conexant

I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV2278ea under Vista 32 bit, and have all the updates of the BONE apart from those announced in the past weeks. I recently updated the software for the integrated sound card Conexant High Definition for 08 August last version 4.36.7.60 C. Everything seemed fine until I came to do an audio capture of a stream on the internet using Roxio. Only one capture device listed was the microphone - it used to be the one who said Conexant Audio "what hear it" to capture anything the speakers. Review of the sounds in the control panel the only recording device is the microphone. Sound works very well in both internal and external speakers. I tried rolling back the drivers but its still the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

OK, that had me crazy for the last few days, but I found the solution:

Selections from the input Source to record Windows Vista for recording audio streaming, media players or anything you can hear coming through your speakers are hidden from view and people disabled by default. (I'm sorry - but why!?)   )

If your audio card/system support recording streaming audio input Source selections such as: stereo mix, What U Hear, Wave Out Mix, vague or a similar selection, here what you need to do to activate for the record:

Right click on your speaker icon in the system tray, (near the clock), select "recording devices".

In the acoustic window that opens up, near the top, select the TAB "recording".

Move your cursor where the devices are displayed.

Right-click in the empty white box and select "show disabled devices".

Support, new selections will appear such as: stereo mix, What U Hear, etc. Click right on "Stereo Mix", "What U Hear" or similar and select 'enable '.

Right-click on the same new item and select "Set as default device". Click OK.

Now in the Options of the recorder in the "Input Source" box, you should have the "Stereo Mix", "What U Hear" or similar source available to select for recording streaming, etc.

(You can also activate other selections hidden such as Microphone, Line In, etc, if they are not already displayed).

  • Cannot save ' what you hear' speakers with hearing

Windows 7 64-bit, with the latest realtek high definition audio driver installed

I know that I have to change the main instrument of entry for something like 'wave' or 'PCM' or 'stereo mix' etc., but the problem lies in I find not only other than microphone system in both software of hearing or Panel of the system recording equipment. But quality music turns really terrible when you use the microphone to pick up the signals transmitted by the speakers. So what I'm going to do? I really want to spend the extra money for a line of sound transmission to idiotly my connect microphone and speaker. Any help will be appreciated.

We had exactly the same question three days ago!  It is a feature of later versions of Windows (Vista and 7) not pass an Audition.

In all cases, try this remedy:

Right click on the little speaker icon in the taskbar, then select "Recorders" in the menu that appears.

On the list of issues, you can save, right-click in the white space that is not connected to one of the existing selections.  This should bring up a menu on which you can place a check mark next to "show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices".

Once you have done this, one of your options should be "Stereo Mix" and it is the one you want.

However, in the previous thread, someone mentions that some laptop manufacturers are actually turning off the stereo mix function so that even if it is not bring it.  If you're one of the unlucky ones, try going Realtek and re-install the drivers.

If all else fails, there is a software called Virtual Audio Cable for http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.html which does the same thing - but only evaluation copy is free.  In addition, you must pay for it, unfortunately.

It depends on two things.  First, you will need to be on the Internet.  Second, it depends on what they put on your computer.  If they put something that runs at startup, it is possible that they could.

  • Where can I find what package of Windows software, I installed?

Where to look on my laptop to find what windows software package I have. Sorry if it's easy, but it is not my strongest asset?

Not quite sure what you mean by 'windows software packages.

If you want to see what APPLICATIONS are installed (Offfice suite, pdf reader etc.) then just do Control Panel-uninstall a program and you'll see everything that is installed is listed.

If you mean by 'windows software packages' installed Windows Updates, then go to the same place (Control Panel-uninstall a program) and click on "View installed updates" in the left pane. If none of these options are what you hear then you need to qualify your post...

I want to record a video mp4 myself I used in the presentation of the webinar to be downloaded on the internet?

1 can I watch what I record while I record on HMDI output on my DSC-HX-300?

    2. is there any another wayt I see myself when I register?

    2. is there an extension to be used with the Sony RM-VPR1 to extend it?

    Larry

Hi Larry! You should be able to view what you save by using a monitor connected via HDMI to your camera. There are monitors external HDMI available that you can use with the camera, so you can see yourself while recording. Unfortunately, we do not have an extension for the RM-VPR1 to extend it.

  • I tried to open firefox this morning that she would not let me do, instead, I got an error message saying: error-platform version 10.0.1 is not compatible with minversion > = 10.0, maxversion < = 10.0 "I'm not sure what I can do. Thank you

I noticed that firefox updated last night before I shut down my computer, and then when I turned it on this morning I received the error message that I described above. It doesn't let me Open firefox.

I don't know what you see or what generates error messages.

Firefox 10.0.1 should run on Windows XP, I have it running on an XP. I guess that the error message comes from a site/file Firefox tries to open or some plugin that you normally use with Firefox. You can try to confirm exactly what is the full message and it generates.

Maybe if you attach a screenshot of the message it would be useful to clarify what's happening...

  • Downloaded just ver9 Firefox, now I can't record passwords, what, what's the problem with worm 9, this never happened with other versions.

Just download Firefox VER 9, now I'm unable to save passwords, this never happened with an another Version of Firefox. I have tried everything I know to solve this problem, I ticked the boxes in the options, where it says to save passwords, don't know what else to do, may be using Solution Explorer.
    Thank you bob.

Do you hear the names and passwords in the password manager or do you mean that you are connected is no longer on to (remember to) Web sites after the closing and restarting Firefox?

There is a difference between remembering the name and the password in the password manager and a check box "remember me" on a web page.

The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and which is sent to the server.

If that "remember me" cookie is deleted or is corrupted or is not send to the server, then the server remember that you and you must connect once again.

Make sure that you are not Firefox running in permanent private browsing mode.

To view the history settings and cookies, choose:

    • Tools > Options > privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: use the custom settings for the story of
    • Uncheck the box: [] "always use the navigation mode private.
