Can't send or receive messages on behalf of Verizon (tdwolfe2). A timeout occurred during communication with the server.

This message box appears quite a bit. All I have to do to solve it? Thanks for any solid help. MW

Hi Mary,

Please contact the Microsoft Community forums.

It seems that you are unable to send or receive messages on behalf of Verizon.

He would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question.

1. What mail client do you use? What is customer e-mail based on the web or Microsoft Outlook client?

2. are you aware of changes to the computer before the show?

3. do you use Internet Explorer to access e-mail? If so, what is the version installed on the computer?

This question seems a temporary problem with the server and you can consult again later.

If you use Internet Explorer, you can perform the steps described in the article.

The problems of access to webmail using Internet Explorer

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2483955

Note: Please note that reset the settings of Internet Explorer running resets all of the settings defined by the user, including those established by the installed extensions, toolbars and other add-ons for IE by default. This includes all the security, privacy and settings area. Also this will erase browsing history, delete all temporary Internet, cookies, form data files and especially all the passwords.

If you use the Microsoft Outlook client, you can post the question here.

    How can I fix it?

This error message indicates usually that Windows Live Mail working offline and it is therefore impossible to send or receive messages. You have a third-party program, probably Google Chrome, which interferes with the Windows Internet connection.

When you see the message in offline mode , open Internet Explorer and then press Alt + F to open the file menu. If work offline is selected, deselect it. If it is not selected, select it, wait a few moments and then deselect. Now check if Windows Live Mail is still offline. If this is the case, repeat the cycle to select/deselect in Internet Explorer until Windows Live Mail receives the message.

That the devil which means?

    Hello

    1. what browser do you use?

2 are you facing the same issue with other games like asset stings on the internet?

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

Method 1: You can check if the problem appears in a clean boot state.

    Refer to this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

If the problem is solved, check which service non-Microsoft is the source of the problem; referring to article and following the other steps.

Note: After you check the clean boot feature configure Windows to use a Normal startup using step 7 proposed in the above mentioned link.

Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software and check if the game works very well.

Refer to this link: turn off the antivirus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

When you disable the Antivirus: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 3: If the previous step fails, temporarily disable the Windows Firewall and check if the game works very well.

Refer to this link: turn enable or disable Windows Firewall

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Note: After checking the functionality enable the Windows Firewall.

  • Can't send or receive messages Skype for windows desktop 8

    Hello

I just got a new laptop which uses windows 8. I downloaded the Skype for desktop PC (because I really don't like it). I can sign in very well, see my contacts, etc., but I can't send or receive messages.

When I receive a new message, I get small pop window in the lower right corner, but when I go to Skype, it shows not all new messages.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Change the time after you have received or sent messages when the weather was bad won't solve anything. The only thing you can do now is erase all old chat history and start to charge.

If you are able to manage a SQLite database editor, you can also try to fix the time stamp of the misplaced messages.

Second computer, when you attempt to read emails via messenger or ie8, I get the above message, also calendar is not updated.     If I connect directly to hotmail, bypassing ie8 and Messenger, everything is there, I guess it's a timing issue. Would appreciate any help. (worked fine until about 3 months ago)
