  Try right clicking on the update of Windows, and then selecting run as administrator.  If this does not work, you will need to restart your PC to the 'administrator' and to change your administrator account.  If this person does not exist, you may need to reinstall Windows 7.

  When I search the updates, I get an error message indicating that Windows could not search for new updates.  Error code 80070005. Windows Update has encountered an unknown error.  I tried all the suggestions of troubleshooting the problem, but nothing has worked.  I am very frustrated and tired of dealing with this problem.  If there is a problem with updates that Microsoft sends then they should correct this problem. I have four computers in my house and I'll only have this problem with the computer that has Windows Vista.  Help, please!

  Can someone help me please?

  I installed the free trial versions of photoshop and illustrator via free membership of CC. Yesterday, I decided to purchase a full CC membership. But it does not work. Photoshop and illustrator to work as trial versions. (I am so disappointed and frustrated in this regard - it's so clear what to do. Now that I paid, I expect at least a clear instruction, but the only thing I got was a Bill. There are no clear instructions, step by step for full members while you receive tons of instructions when you want to just try. Really, really disappointing.)

In the meantime, I downloaded InDesign aswell as a new version of the app Manager, but also indesign it's a trial version. By clicking on the license button, I asked fot a serial number - which I did not. Says adobe Web site I don't not need serialnumbers being a user of CC and only need my Adobe ID to register. But after entering my adobe ID to register... it asks once again - how surprising - a serial number.

• I can't update the Windows Defender definitions and get this message: the program can't check for definition updates. Error: Code 0xc8000408.

  Impossible to find info on what this means or what to do so I can again update in Windows Defender. This error message has begun to appear recently, or at least I think.   You are welcome. Your computer must NOT be connected to the internet or networks without a fully functional antivirus, completely update installed application. But first, let's take care of any Norton "leftovers"...

  1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  3. click right on the file saved in #1 above, and then select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

  Now, you will need to download/install an antivirus application. While I do not recommend professionally AVG, you might find that AVG Free 9.0 more compatible if you choose a CUSTOM this time installation above and don't install NOT of Linkscanner Search-Shield, Active Surf-Shield, security or the email of crawl components toolbar.

  Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
  Follow these methods mentioned below and check.

  Method 1:
  I suggest you to check if you are able to access Windows Update service and ensure that the following services are started. If it is not started, follow these steps:

Illustrator installed fine and I used it, but the creative cloud that was installed with my first account dealt with in as being under a trial subscription. Now, the trial has ended, I was charged twice for Illustrator and I can't open it more, he always tells me that I need for liscense. I could cancel and then try again to liscense it on my first account, but cancellation fees are £85 or something crazy.  Does make sense to anyone, does anyone have a problem like this? I guess I have shot myself in the foot.

• I can't register for Windows update and receive the error code 0 x 80070002 when I try.

  When I try to solve the problem by following the instructions, I'm unable to start or stop the automatic updates in the field of Services. When I click with the right button on automatic updates and then click Start, I get the following error message: error 2: the system cannot find the specified file.

  When I go to Windows Update and the attempt to revise my story to update, I get error 0 x 80070002 there as well.  Anyone have any ideas?  The other proposed problem was to remove the contents of the Datastore folder after you type %windir%\SoftwareDistribution in the run dialogue box, but I do not have a Datastore, just the two following folders folder: installation and WuRedir.

  There has never been a version FREE of Creative Suite 2. What is displayed on the website of Adobe, it's an activation-free setup and a serial number for CS2 to Adobe CS2 license customers but need to reinstall the software after our CS2 activation servers have been decommissioned. This isn't a software which can legally be installed and used by someone else to Adobe customers who previously CS2 license.

  As others in this thread have advised, there is no way to upgrade reduced CS2, even for CS2 customers paid. CS2 was released, it more than ten years. In general, Adobe had only reduced paths to upgrade to a version or two behind the current. CS2 is eight versions behind the current version of Creative Cloud 2015 of Adobe creative applications.
