HP Touchsmart 320-1030 RAM

Hi, I'd like to update my RAM but I can't find modules that are 200 pins for the computer.

I find the SO-DIMM modules with all the specifications corresponding except with a different amount of pine trees. I want to clarify

the number of pins and if someone could: maybe give me a link with a 4 GB module at low price or 2 pack (I wan't upgrade to)

8 GB, but it has 2 slots) thank you.

P.S. The pins that I do find when I search these ^ are: 204 pins

Hello:

According to the specifications of product for your PC, it can take memory PC3-12800.

DDR3 memory modules are all 204 pins.

DDR2 memory modules are all 200 pins, so that the part of the info on the page of the form is incorrect.

It is a good brand of memory that I use, and it's price.

Ralink stock on my Touchsmart 320-1030 all-in-One wifi card constantly abandons the wireless connection, and I would like to replace it with another card.

Does anyone know if BIOS 320 uses "white list", in which case you can only install certain wi - fi cards? I know that HP laptops are notoious for this, but I'm not sure of their all-in-one.

You should be able to replace the card wireless without any problem.  Before you do that, though, here's a guide that can help you solve your problem.

I managed to get a driver of his work, but I can't understand this touch screen problem. In my view, there is no windows 8.1 drivers but I can't find a driver for windws 8 either. What should I do?

I resolved, uninstalled my current driver then rebooted and it works now all of a sudden! Thanks for the reply anyway

  • HP Touchsmart 320-1030 does not turn on

    Product: HP Touchsmart 320-1030

    Product #: QP788AA #ABA

    OS: Windows 7-64 bit

    Bought the: 07/11/2011

    Problem occurred: 21/06/2013

My HP Touchsmart has worked almost flawlessly for a year and a half, until today when I tried it alarm off mode 'sleep'. Once I tried to move my mouse to turn it on, I heard a noise of high tone from the battery under my desk. At this point, I realized that the computer was not turn on and the battery LED blinking, as if to tell me that there is some sort of error. Well my sister has the same exact model I computer and I tried with his battery and it worked, but when I tried battery and power cord with mine it did not work.

I know that there must be an internal problem now. I tried held in the power button for 5 sec, 30 sec, and even 2 minutes before plug it and try to turn it on, but in any case, it failed. I removed the rear case and removed the small battery inside and then reinserted it but not good, and finally I tried to delete the hard drive insert it again, but not luck. It's very upsetting, but I'm hanging there in the hopes of restoring my PC; any advice or help is greatly appreciated!

Inside of the black rectangular box containing the power supply for your PC that there is no battery inside.

The box with wires connecting your PC to the power of the House is called a power adapter.  Inside the power adapter, there is a transformer, diodes and a control circuit current voltage\. It's what made sure the power to your PC is what it takes.

A flashing led on the power adapter indicates a malfunction of the power supply or the motherboard of the PC adapter.

You have all other USB devices that the mouse or keyboard connected to your PC when you try to start it? If the answer is Yes, then disconnect devices.

Was there recently a lightning storm or power outage at your home?

No BIOS updates to the still for your 320-1030 TS, based on 'Software downloads & Driver for HP TouchSmart 320-1030 desktop'. Do not expect to see an update that supports a CPU "unlocked" as HP does not generally support this configuration.

  • TouchSmart 320-1030: Upgrade DVD touchsmart 320 to BE

I would read the BluRay DVD on my desk.  The installed DVD player does not recognize Blu Ray discs.  Can I upgrade the internal drive, firmware update, etc. ?

    Hello again @mooch03,

You should be able to find a replacement Blu - Ray player in a local computer parts store, or even an online search should get many sellers. The thing is so long that it has SATA connections, you're good.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • How to temporarily disable the touch screen in Windows 8? TouchSmart 320-1122la

    TouchSmart 320-1122la

    64 bit of Windows 8

This solution does not work for me because I don't have the option "Use your finger as input device."

Go to the sounds and then hardware and Control Panel.

Select the Pen and Touch and go to the contact tab.

At the top is "Use your finger as input device."  Uncheck the box.

Click apply and then click OK.

    Is there another solution?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a HP TouchSmart 320-1030, so it can work on your TouchSmart:

    1. Press Windows + X logo.
    2. Select Device Manager from the list.
    3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
    4. Click the touchscreen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen).
    5. Right click and select disable from the list.
    6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

When you want your touchscreen to work again, follow the above procedure, EXCEPT when right-clicking on the touch screen driver, select enable.

  • Is it possible to connect an Xbox 360 console to a HP TouchSmart 520-1030?

I got this HP TouchSmart for over 2 years. This question comes to mind. Can you connect an Xbox 360 to a HP TouchSmart 520-1030? I looked and looked and found nothing useful on the web.

    Specifications are: HP TouchSmart 520-1030
    Intel Core i3-2120
    4 GB of ram

    No HDMI

    Hello again ScreenNameHere,

Thank you for responding to my message asking for additional information. The only way I can see to connect your HP TouchSmart 520-1030 Desktop PC would be the use of a USB HDMI adapter. I am also including the IDT High Definition Audio Driver Update for your computer, the USB connection will not have the same sound quality and you want to make sure that you have up-to-date drivers to get the best sound, you can leave the connection.

Please re-post with the results of this post. Thank you for bringing This problem on the HP Forums. Enjoy your day!

  • 320-320: 1030-1030

Hello, I was wondering what to look for if I wanted to update my 320-1030 in regards to a motherboard and processor? I was contemplating upgrading the CPU for an A8-3820 on the existing card, but now I'm wondering if it is possible to move to a faster processor (which I assume would require a new motherboard if it is possible).

    Greetings,

I don't think you can do much in the way of the upgrade of this system.

This siteshows all the possible processors that can run in a socket FM1. This system can not support each listed.

Please note that the specifications is 65 watts TDP processor on your system.

The motherboard has been designed to fit the chassis and probably has special exclusive connections that won't be may not be not available on after market system maps.

Is probably not possible to just pop any mainstream motherboard in the case.

  • HP TouchSmart 520-1030: recovery of the disks are no longer available from the HP Support

I am trying to help a friend who's HP TouchSmart 520-1030 hard disk is dead.  I have the HP support site, fill out forms to buy 5 DVD System Recovery Disk Set Kit for this system. He even asked for my credit card information. Only after that I entered all this information, the system told me that the recovery kit was no longer available for this system. I tried to download a Windows 7 from Microsoft, but because the key of Windows 7 has been an OEM key, they told me I'd get from HP. I called HP support and they said that they could not get the kit. I asked them if I bought a new copy of Windows 7, the drivers would be available at HP. The phone technology said he didn't know. I asked him if he could tell me how I could know, he says 'No, good night' and hung up. I was not rude or anything. Very professional, in my opinion. In any case, I'm stuck. I know that my friend should have the recovery disks, but it didn't. Does this mean that he should throw a 3 year, $750 all-n-one computer? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

My HP TouchSmart Pc 320 lights I noticed the power adapter blinks and a beep so I tried another adapter even and it does the same thing, I guess this isn't the adapter but the Pc its self.

I have 8 TouchSmart 320 Pc that I bought for my business a year ago, it comes to the second Pc that gave me I've corrected the issues first, but what can be wrong with it? IM assuming it has to do with the motherboard. Please help thanks.

    Newera562

Thanks for the quick response. So, the Web siteof your product has not all alerts published about problems with the motherboard.  It's a good thing.  The system has a "Angelino2" motherboard.  I don't know if it's still under warranty, but you can check the status here. I think that in this case, you should contact an HP maintenance officer and plan a repair workshop to control the installation. At this point I don't know what could be the failure.  If it is out of warranty, you could pursue other options as an output of repair under warranty with an authorized service provider. Often, they will be able to provide some diagnostic efforts at a reduced price.  Good luck to you.

  • TouchSmart 320: Reset Office all-in-one

    Hello community,
I have a all-in-one desktop Touchmart 320 HP which runs under the operating system Windows 7 Premium and infected because the office is mainly used by my nieces and nephews. It cannot connect to the Internet, nor can I use other programs. There are several ads of pop-ups that keep appearing on the screen, mainly on cleaning grafts. I would like to clean the computer and perform a hard reset. However, I am not able to go in safe mode, because when I start the computer I have not access to the keyboard that usually appears on the screen (again, this is an all-in-one computer). How will I be able to restart the computer and press the keys that allow me to tom change the mode (I have not for the moment external keyboard)? I would also like to know if it is possible to install a different version of the Windows operating system (e.g. Vista 32-bit, or another version of 7 but 32-bit) and it will work, what the consequences will be. Thank you so much in advance.

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.  It was exactly what I need.
