  Brief situation:

  In our team, we have two designers who currently use PhotoShop CS6.

  A designer has a license for CS6 Master bundle, the other has a CC license.

  Question:

  Can I update both PhotoShop 13.1.2? I don't want to end up in a situation where only one can use the latest app.

  I understand that I can not upgrade to PhotoShop CC, but I expect that Adobe continues to support the incumbent CS6 with bug fixes for CS6 applications.

  version 13.1 is exclusive to subscription only. IT contains new features that are not available in 13.0. Be assusred rest 13.0 gets all bug fixes present in 13.1 as well. The only difference is that there will be new feautres for subscription customers.

  On a side note, a single subscription allow you to work on two computers.

  Howdy! I just spent a week trying to troubleshoot myself.

  So I would setup fresh Photoshop through the creative cloud app. It would install it without error and then offer a lot of updates. Finally, it would fail on 13.1.2. What kept little matter how many times I reinstalled photoshop, the suite of creative clouds, or wipe off all the bits of software on my machine. I then asked if if one of the updates (I think as 13.0.1.2) blocked the one to succeed. I have noticed the Creative Cloud App Manager doesn't let you choose which updates to apply, but the photoshop update itself would have so I tried this:

  1. first install cost of Photoshop from the creative application of cloud (uninstall everything first if you have to-it's just that it must be without updates after the initial installation applied)

  2. launch Photoshop.

  3. go in help > updates

  4. developing update of Photoshop training and deselect the 13.0.1.2 update.

  5. Press next/fact/OK button (whatever the confirmation button is on the update) and close Photoshop (or it will prompt you to).

  This resulted in a successful update of 13.1.2 I understand everything I have to 13.0.1.2 that this update no longer appears subsequently. It seems that the 13.0.1.2 update leaves some files in a State where none of accession will push them up to 13.1.2. in any case, I hope that this or a variant of this solution works for you, as most of these discussions have ended with "just all reinstall and use the cleaning tool" without really trying to solve the problem.

If I try to update via Photoshop, Adobe Application Manager says there is no update available, and if I try to do it manually, it says that the update is not applicable. I don't know what is happening! I tried to do this thing in terminal sudo command, I am absolutely sure that the update is for my version of PS, I don't know what is happening. I'd appreciate your help!

  12.1 is the latest version of Photoshop. There is no version 12.4. There's a 12.0.4 version which is the same as 12.1 with respect to most (except 12.1 allows the subscription license)

  There is no such thing. Camera Raw is specific to certain versions of PS. 8.x will never work in CS5. You must update your software or to install using the DNG Converter.

  Suggest you follow the instructions below:

  • Quit Photoshop
  • Go to the location - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015, find the file named sniffer.exe and move on desktop
  • Launch Photoshop and check again.
