  You can ignore the text that says it's for network installations and also ignore the text advising windows/microsoft update if a single update of a PC.

  This should move your 0x8024400A problem. So try and get up-to-date with the Windows updates. You will probably have to go through Genuine Windows Validation.

  Hello everyone, update Windows displays the error message. Will not work. New installation of Windows XP Pro 32-bit. Get the 0x8024400A error message. Follow-up guests for Microsft fix it fix it but requires SP3? Cannot load it down. Also tried installing BITS, but failed. Any suggestions? Yet once it is a new installation of XP Pro.   You will not be able to export your PDF to PPT using the service Adobe export in PDF format.

  You'll need subscription to pack Adobe PDF or the Acrobat application to convert PDF to PPT.

  I had similar problem.  But finally found a solution.  If your listing is similar to mine, then keep.  XP Media Center Edition 2005 (sp2).  AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual-Core, HP a1630n desktop computer.

  Go to the HP website, search for sp37394-XP sp3 Upgrade utility Microsoft for systems equipped with AMD processors.
