  I wrote a script that creates a structure of folders in my opinion of AE project but I would then be able to run another script (possibly related to a button on a GUI Panel) which allows me to define where I can create a folder structure that is similar to my desktop or set the folder.

  Okay, I think I now have something that works. I tested it a little CC in 2014, but not him have really put it through the wringer. So use with CAUTION!

  It may not look pretty, but it works. The only things to know are that there is not currently a special auditor to avoid problems with name for the OS folder. The other is that if a duplicate folder name appears within the same parentFolder (see crude example below), it will be simply not created in the installation of the OS program. This prevents overwriting of files without warning.

  I did a search with the little dog under (music photos or videos).  I have all my photos gathered.  I can now create a folder that will contain all the? I use Microsoft Word or Word Perfect 10, but most of my documents are in WP. I have photo files in Picasa and Photo Shop as well as those of Word Perfect.

  Press and hold any application until they begin to squirm. Select any application you want to be in the folder, drag and drop it on top of any other application that you want to be in the folder. This will create the folder to which you can assign any name you want.

  In library mode, I can see my files. When I switch to the mode of development, I lose sight of my folder structure. I have only selections. When in library mode, the window displays the folders option. But the window menu does not have folders option.

  You can't see your files in Mode develop.

  In my opinion, the best solution is to press G to return in grid Mode, press D to return mode to develop. It is not heavy and works well.

  In the 'files' pane, right click on the folder that you see and select "show parent folder. Repeat if necessary.

• Can I create a new structured application that is a copy of a current One?

  Here's the situation: I'm new on the use of Dita to Framemaker, but became competent with the creative process. I don't understand the end of the development of things very well, however. What I want to do is have a second structured DITA that is identical to the first in every way except that in topic.template.fm, the page size will be set to 11 x 17, not asking for 8.5 x 11.  And I want to be able to apply this app structured in some of my DITA documents, but not all.

  I tried to create such a situation, first by copying and then rename the folder DITA (I called the news a DITA-BIG) in Adobe FrameMaker 8\structure\xml\ and in DITA-BIG, making this small change to topic.template.fm.

  I then added the renowned structured application structuredapps.fm (once, I've done a copy / paste of the element of DITA-topic-FM already there), change the name of the element to Dita-TopicBig-FM and the URL to point to those appearing in the DITA-BIG directory.

  The new structured application appears in Framemaker when I select StructureTools-> structured Application set, and I can select/apply to one of my documents. However, does not change the size of the document page. I tried to save the document by closing and reopening the document, the closing and reopening of Framemaker. The new, larger page size located in topic.template.fm in the DITA - BIG structured App is ignored.

  If I change the size of the page in the file topic.template.fm of origin, the document that uses the new structured allegedly application changes size so they correspond to the model in the old structured application.  But I need this model original stay at its original page size 8.5 x 11.

  I'm new to working with these files, so I don't know if I missed something or what I want can be done.

  Any advice?

  I'm not sure that looking to the right registry key, but I certainly don't want to bother you here if you don't know what you're doing. A mistake in the registry can make your computer unbootable. The problem is that what you are trying to download is trying to download an apparently non-existent folder. I think it would be best if you have someone qualified to look at the machine. This could be a very knowledgeable friend or computer technology (as long as the friend is really competent and not just say it is). Without being able to see your computer and get the answers to my questions, I can't really help.

  What has changed between the time where things worked and the time, they did not? If things worked just a few days ago, you might want to try a system restore to that date. It is perhaps easier for you. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  I would like to remove a complicated production structure and pull it all in a single folder for now.  So instead of going to the folder documents/file/1 has / folder I etc... I just simply go to the documents.

  I just tried with the document library. Using the Details view andinclude subfolders... selected in tools > Folder Options > search in the search box type

   

  * type:(NOT folder)

   

  This should lead to a list of all the files in the Documents. Then press Ctrl + A to select all to where you want to cut or copy. I copy into a new empty folder under My Documents before deleting anything. If you have the Type column is visible, you can see certain types of file - shortcuts, for example - that you're not particularly interested in cluttering your new simplified with folder. When you are quite sure this is what you want to do, you can delete everything in My Documents , save the new file, and then move that content to a higher level.

  I don't seem able to create a new folder manually when importing photos.  It still works fine on the same PC with LR3.6.  Anyone else seeing this?  Thank you.

  

  Yes, I'm on Win7. I can get the result that you specify.  I right click on the folder name in LR and then choose "Create a new folder."  This shows the dialog box windows.  If I then right-click in the right pane and select new > folder, I get a new folder empty in the right pane and can type the name, then select this folder.  If, instead of click with the right button in the right pane, I try to type the name of the new folder in the bottom of the dialog box where it says "file:" then I get this error message. That's what I mean by saying that the process has changed slightly in the LR4.

Two days ago, I tried, you click on 'New' and the option for a folder was not there. In its place was 'shortcut '.
