  • If I can get Yoga 2 Pro with trackpoint

    The IdeaPad Yogas (11, 13, 11, 2 s, 2Pro) do not have the TrackPoint.

  • Yoga 2 Pro does not illuminate

I got my Yoga 2 Pro for less than a week and last night, I loaded the tablet at night. I just unplugged the Tablet and tried to turn it on, nothing happens. I tried the power button longer now and I tried to keep the volume down at the same time as the power and nothing happened. One thing that can be the note is worth, is that the ring around the power button is turned on. As I mentioned above, the Tablet did pay in the Lenovo sleeve just before this problem. How can I activate this Tablet?

I found a thread for Yoga 10HD + now offers the power button down for 64 seconds. It worked and I'm back on.

  • TIP: How to increase the longevity of your battery IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro

You want to increase the longevity of the battery in your Yoga 2 Pro?

Lenovo has included a battery 'Mode of Conservation', which extends the longevity of your battery in your battery to 55% ~ 60% instead of load completely.

You can activate the "Mode of Conservation as follows:

Step 1. Double-click the Lenovo Energy Manager icon in the taskbar.

Step 2: Click on the expand button on the windows of the Manager energy

Step 3: Click on the 'Settings' tab on the windows.

Step 4: Select battery / turn on 'Mode of Conservation' in Lenovo Power Manager.

P.S. You do not have to use this mode all the time, but if you use the laptop with the AC adapter plugged in all the time and do not really need long battery life time, then this is something you should consider allowing to reduce the wear of the battery unnecessarily.

    Nice day!

    Yanick

If you have used any other processor of professional quality (for example, Microsoft Word), and then just go ahead and use the current culture of free (financially) applications on devices you mention. It will not take too long before you understand point Apple of giving them. No application in the world can open documents Pages but the most recent version.

Free will begin to erode when Pages for Mac forget how to open a perfectly fine document that you saved an hour or two ago. Or you realize you have to press the SHIFT key every time you want a first word in a sentence. Or you can not bind the text boxes to the text layout advanced stream. Or you can't do data merge / e-mail. Table of contents page links or comments will not export to PDF.

Pages is not a clone of Word, and you'll quickly realize that Pages input/export deal with the translation. Open a blank document. Type the letter "A". Export to Word .docx. It will be 494KO in size. Do the same thing in LibreOffice or MS Word and it will be 8 KB.

  • Yoga 2 Pro - how to get Windows 8.1 recovery disks

    Hi all.

I just bought a Yoga 2 Pro and immediately wiped the drive and installed Debian on it (which works very well.)

While I can't imagine going back me to Windows, it would be useful to have the recovery of Windows 8.1 (or USB) disks available, just in case. (Money-back guarantee, sell to someone, etc.)

Unfortunately, during the installation of Debian, the recovery partition has been deleted, so I can't create the recovery/USB disks myself. How can I get a copy of the recovery disks?

Good day and welcome to the community.

For support of factory image recovery, you will need to contact the Service (info below). There may be a fee for the media.

    Kind regards.

  • Yoga 2 Pro - subwoofer help required

The subwoofer on my Yoga 2 Pro no longer works. Finally, he worked a month or two ago after not working not for a while but it only lasted until I turned it off and it never worked again. I waited to make the upgrade of the lollipop, but no dice. Someone had a serious failure box and if so is it possible to raise it from the dead?

I tried to contact support via the page contact us and I have the big saying green bar in warranty, but when I click on step 2, nothing happens so I can't even contact Lenovo support!

Just a quick update. I did a factory reset and the subwoofer started to work again.
