I can't get firefox to download on my computer - Windows 7
When I go to the download page, the download does not start.
You can find the latest version of Firefox in all languages and for all systems operating here:
- Firefox 10.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
(Firefox 10.0.1 will be released probably tomorrow (Friday), so you may want to wait for this version)

How can I get Firefox to download a document in Adobe format, rather than the html page?
The PACER site provides copies of documents in format Acrobat pdf. However, when I access a document, it appears in Firefox, rather than Adobe. So, I'm not able to download on Adobe. (I unchecked 'internet' option in Adobe in a manner appropriate, so that it is not instructed to download the document in the browser.) However, Internet Explorer, display and download in Adobe, because he is supposed to do. I called support PACER, but they were unable to help me.
I found the support page that I found via search index 'see or download pdf' very useful.
He brought me to download and install a Schubert | It browser plugin that works very well. It has many options, which is the choice to download or view the pdf file.
The plugin is free for personal or educational use even if you don't find this out until you start using it.

I even tried to delete Firefox and downloaded a new firefox again from your mozilla site and this "mysearchdial" is still there. Suggestions?

Everytime I open my MacBook Air with OSLion a sign comes up saying that Firefox is downloaded from the internet. How can I get rid of this sign.
Make sure that Firefox is installed correctly.
Open the Firefox disk image (DMG) file and drag the Firefox program in the folder of the application on your hard drive.
You should not double-click the Firefox application to run from the disk image and drag it out of the DMG file instead. -
I just bought the last laptop MacBook Pro with the Intel Core i7. I would like to know which version of Firefox to download on it.
What is the latest version and how to find? I know it is 3.6 but 3.6.13? OU.14? OU.15? Or what? I don't want to spoil, so I'm asking for advice. Is there someone out there who can help you? -
How can I get FireFox to work on the first version of the Google ChromeBook? Everytime I open it it said to update or upgrade to FireFox and make it your main page. So I downloaded it and it's open once it is installed, but then a message appears that says "can't stand" search for an application that supports FireFox and its software, or something of the sort. I was sitting here with a full battery when I started and now it is dead... and I still don't have FireFox on my ChromeBook.
What do I do now or how do I get it to work? And if it just simply won't work on a CHromeBook then they need to have that riht out in the open.
Hello
I had a peek in this and was informed that Firefox does not work on Chrome OS.
It is designed and done a little differently from the likes of Windows and Linux and will not support another browser being installed.

I have google as my default homepage on my Mac. This morning when I opened Firefox Google home page fills the entire page, there is no menu or toolbar at the top of the page. I tried to click on F11 but it fills just the search bar with an f. I tried right clicking and clicking on 'ESC' but which does nothing. I tried to screw up my version of Firefox and download a new version, but when I opened it, it opened to the Google home page and there's still once a menu or toolbar. I did not restart my computer once I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I'll try that right now.
On Mac, command + shift + f should also switch between normal view and full screen.
Another method that may work is to drag the pointer of the mouse completely to the top of the screen. If the tab slides to the bottom bar, you can right click (Ctrl + click?) an empty area of the top (or right click on the button '+') and you should get a context menu runs with the option for Mode full-screen output.
Does it work?

How can I get Firefox looking for my computer for the plugins that are already there?
How can I get Firefox looking for my computer for the plugins that are already there?
Adobe Flash player is already on my computer from IE 8. How can I get Firefox to see that it is already on my PC and use it so I don't have to download it again and possibly create other problems. Also, in my efforts to download Flash, active Firefox IE that made me concerned that would cause problems that our just leave me where I am now, instance where IE can use a bottle but Firefox cannot.
Internet Explorer uses a version of the Flash player ActiveX plugin as it does not work with other browsers.
Download the version of the https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html Plugin-based browsers and make sure Firefox is closed when you install it.

I have a desktop Mac OS 10.2.8 which is the latest Firefox to download?
I have a desktop Mac OS 10.2.8 which is the latest Firefox to download? Jaguar's later I can load on my Mac. I use it only to get/send mail Yahoo. What is the latest version, I use and where I can get it. Right now am running Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.20. Please let me know as soon as POSSIBLE. Thank you. I don't mean the update for my windows PC.
From Firefox 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, the minimum for Mac OSX has been changed for OSX 10. 4. then from Firefox 4.0, the minimum being OSX 10.5. Then from Firefox 16.0 minimum was OSX 10.6 + since. This Intel as PPC support has been removed from Firefox 4.0

until yesterday, whenever I want to download anything, I'd get a 'popup' in the bottom right of my screen saying "full download"... now I don't see... also, when I click on my download option in my 'tools' at the top on the right, the box that appears has changed how it looks... It still shows my downloads, but the appearance of the box has changed... None of these problems is all 'biggie'... lol... nothing to worry about... but I just want to know why it happened all of a sudden if I've made any changes to my firefox... anyone?
The user interface for changed in 20 of Firefox downloads. There was a parameter, you can change all: config to restore the old style. That setting in Firefox 20-25, but was no longer exists in Firefox 26. So, you probably changed this and now know the standard interface.
This article describes/illustrates the green arrow icon you should see on your toolbar, which anime when a download is complete: where to find and manage files in downloaded Firefox.
If you want a more complete view of downloads, you can try this module: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-status-bar/ (I've seen mentioned in another post, but have not tried it myself)

After that Firefox updated to version 19, when I tried to view a pdf file, the file appeared in a strange new Viewer. Seemed work OK, but I was concerned (did not know that this is apparently a new feature of 19 FF) and I wanted the viewer Adobe back.
After a few minutes of listening in the FF pdf viewer, a message appears that says something like--this viewer may be displayed not the document correctly. You want to use Adobe Acrobat instead?-I clicked on Yes.
Now, when I click on a link for a pdf file, it will either automatically opens in Adobe Acrobat (windows application, no player in FF) format, or I'll get a dialog box that asks if I want to save the file or use Adobe Acrobat to open it.
I followed the instructions here:
Including:
http://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/view-PDF-files-Firefox-without-downloading-themDelete the mimetypes.rdf file
Delete the pluginreg.dat file
I would like to know if you think I've missed any information that would be useful. Now I know the new PDF viewer's native FF, I wouldn't mind trying it.
Thank you!

Whenever I have download a file, any file, .jpeg, .png, .exe, whatever it is, Firefox ignores the group policy setting, and I have to 'unlock' every single download.
This also applies to photos I click on "save image as," not just download with Download Manager.
I fixed it. I remember the question even happening in Firefox 3 and the commentary #3 to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499448 gives a workaround solution. I had to have 3 all values to define information in a way comment #3 explained get Firefox does not record zone.identificateur.
