Cannot access a program in XP

I am running XP Pro with SP3 32 bit on a Lenovo IBM laptop. Frequently appears on the desktop which States "Interactive Services dialog Detection".  This is the title of the dialog box. He says in addition; "A program cannot display a message on your desktop. The program may need information or permissions to perform a task.

The details of the program: program (s) or device (s) asking the attention;

Title of the message: Unhandled Exception

Program path: C:\Program Lavasoft Ad-Aware 2007\aawservice.exe

This problem occurs due to partial incompatibility with Windows.

I open the Services window and stopped service but it always returns in a few hours. I think that this isaused by malware or virus. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I bought a simple-app membership cloud creative for Photoshop and downloaded and installed, but whenever I try to open the application a window opens asking serial number validation. If I click on "Connect later" he charge for a brief moment and then brings back me to the series posting form. I can't enter the program of photoshop at all. Now, if I understand correctly, I should not need a serial number for him since he is a subscription, but I don't know why it's always asking me to validate when I did not. • cannot access the programs seen in drive c or contraol black Desktop Panel, help?

My computer was working fine Thursday evening.  Friday morning, I saw that my office as usual sent an email to my work.  Shutting down my computer took a shower.   Booted back up and... Black desktop recycle bin showing only.  Went to start and no programs list.

However, the "c" drive is showing all my programs.   Control Panel shows all my programs.  Tried to clean and still a problem.  It seems to be a Trojan horse from what I've read online.  I don't know how but I managed to download a firefox browser and I use internet.  But I still want access to my programs and all my favorites.

    Hi JJ,

    ·         What version of the operating system is installed on the computer?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Performs a search using the Microsoft safety scanner.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

  • Computer starts but cannot access all programs, error "the APPCRASH event name.

Original title: computer starts but can not access to all programs

What is an APPCRASH problem event name?       or entry point setupapi-CM Get brother is not found in the CFGMGR32.dll dynamic link library.

    Hi Philippe,.

Please contact Microsoft Community. I will surely help you with the resolution of this error on startup.

APPCRASH is a term used by Windows for a crash of the application and is reported as "problem event name: APPCRASH", it will also contain information about the name of the program crashed.

This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:

    1 conflict between third-party applications.

    2 virus.

    3 corrupt system files.

Try the steps listed here and see if it helps:

    Method 1:
I suggest to start the computer using safe mode and check if the problem occurs or not. If this isn't the case, I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

    Step 1:
Start the computer in Mode safe. At the start of the computer Mode safe with the minimum set of drivers and files.

Start your computer in safe mode.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:
If the issue happen not in Mode without failure, perform a clean boot and check. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help you determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

Note: After the clean boot troubleshooting steps, see the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest you analyze your computer by using the Microsoft Safety scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free. The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note:

-The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

-If you run the antivirus program that is infected by the virus scan will get deleted. Therefore, reinstall the program. Also, if files and folders are affected by the virus, while they might even get deleted.

    Method 3:
If the problem persists, I suggest you perform the Scan SFC (System File Checker) and check if it helps. SFC scan will search the system files corrupted on the computer and replace them.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

  • cannot access the programs on the second hard drive

Hello all, I hope someone can help me.

I bought a computer with a 1 TB HARD drive and a 128 GB SSD, unfortunately, the operating system has been installed on the 1 TB HARD drive. I then bought a program that migrated from the OS (W7) on the SSD and eventually was able to do that. I restarted the computer and according to recommendations adjusted BIOS while the SSD was the first to start but after I did it I can access only the programs that have been migrated to the SSD. Programs on the 1 TB drive are not on the 'Programs' menu and desktop icons do not work "that c/xxxx/xxx file path does not exist" appears. Now, when I go back into the bios and change the boot order back to disk HARD original starting the computer (slower than normal) upward, but all the desktop icons and all programs appear after clicking on the tab 'Programs' obviously I have not deleted the W7 OS on the drive HARD original still. How can I get my SSD to 'see' and to exploit all programs on the 1 TB HARD drive and then remove the operating system on the HARD original 1 TB disk?

    Hello

I don't know what is most important to you, but the following freeware application will allow you to migrate your operating system from the disk to your SSD: http://download.cnet.com/AOMEI-Partition-Assistant-Standard-Edition/3000-18512_4-75118871.html .

I would like to do the following steps, in order:

    1. Back up all the data and programs on an external drive for added security.
    2. Delete / erase the hard drive SSD of all files (a reformatting would be a good way to do it).
    3. Migrate the operating system from the HARD drive to SSD following all the instructions in the partitioning of the AOMEI program.
    4. Remove the installation of Win 7 from HARD drive (again, reformatting the drive is the best way)
    5. Change the settings of the BIOS as needed / educated (if you have not already done on instruction).
    6. Restore programs and data stored on the HARD drive.
    7. Test the system.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards

  • Standard user account cannot access the programs installed by administrators account

I have a new Windows 7 computer. I installed various programs using the Administrators account, and then I created a Standard user account. When I login as a user standard I can't see all installed programs. Some are, some are not aware that I have nothing differently when I installed each program. I deleted the first standard user account and created a new standard user but still don't see not all installed programs.

    Thank you

    Claire

When you have installed programs, perhaps you have chosen to install just for the first user. In all cases, you can put shortcuts to programs in the Menus to start other users.

Right click on the "All programs" button from the Start Menu and choose 'Open' to get user-specific Start Menu folder. Choose "Open All Users" to download the file of the start - the system-wide Menu.

%Appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu folder or user-specific and
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu for all users.

Then just copy the shortcut icons, as you wish.

By the way, I always install programs from the Standard user account, providing the password/OK to the UAC prompt. Even if of course you want an administrative user established (and always run as standard for your daily work), almost never, you need to log on to the administrative account.

Even those who still have the appropriate icon are not available. Clicking on them brings up a window with the program asking for run or save. No matter what I choose, it does not. Stop down and restarting does not help. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  • Cannot download a program - Windows Installer service could not be accessed

original title: problems with windows install

Im trying to download a program from the internet, but sometimes (windows service install cannot accessed.this can occur if windows install is not properly installed.contact your support staff to assistance.can someone help as I already downloaded things before and it happened)

Unregister Windows Installer and then reregister Windows Installer. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. in the menu 'Start', click on ' execute:.»

    2. in the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.

    3. in the menu 'Start', click 'run '.

    4. in the "Open" box, type "msiexec/regserver", and then press ENTER.

If this is insufficient, the I would say to install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility and run that to remove the Java remains Setup files that can cause problems with your current installation.
