My ipad cannot access the internet (including safari and different applications) while connected to wifi.
Please answer if you know what happened to my mini ipad.
I have users located outside the United States than VPN for our system. Once connected, they get an address from the pool designated for them. However, they are unable to connect to internet when connected. I don't want to use split-mining because some of the sites they connect to will not work properly because their address IP is located outside the United States. I tried both without client anyconnect and vpn client version
Hi, this link might help you:
I have mobile users using the Cisco VPN (4.0.5B) connection to a 837 customer. They can connect and access resources network in-house/remote ok. However, they are unable to access the Internet at the same time. I also had this problem where some users were connecting in a PIX, but managed to settle only by using the vpngroup
tunnel of splitting and appropriate ACL commands. All I can find on the Cisco site is that it is possible by specifying an ACL, bit I don't know where to specify them this and that. Thank you.
Here are examples of code,
access-list 100 permit ip<837 inside="" net=""><837 inside="" net="" mask="">

Using Windows XP, cannot access internet. The problems notified that Windows cannot connect Internet using HTTP HTTPS or FTP. Said that it's probably caused by the settings of the firewall. Adiveses to check the settings of the firewall for HTTP (80) port, the HTTPS port (443) and FTP port (21). Did not inform how to do this.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button
- Press and hold the Home button
- Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.
Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings
If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.
Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
My name is Tommy and I need help. My desktop computer shows that it is connected to the internet, but when I try to use any application that requires the internet (IE, firefox, chrome, League of legends, etc..) I get a 'connection error' / Web page isn't reachable. Internet works on my parents and my sisters computer, so I don't think it's a problem with the router (even if they're using wifi). My firewall will not turn on either. I tried a reset winsock, but to no avail. I ran a few antivirus scans and eventually find a sitting trojan.muldrop in my System Volume Information folder, and I deleted it with by Dr.Web CureIt. After the removal of the virus, my computer will still not access the internet, and I can't turn on my firewall. Please help if possible!

My PC is running XP and is licensed and up-to-date. I connect to Internet using ISP Orange and a Livebox router. Occasionally, maybe once a day, I can't access the Internet or e-mail. I can't repair the connection, which is to get a new IP address. While in this condition I CAN access internet through my netbook, wireless, which also works in XP. This makes me think that my router IS connected to the internet. I can re - establish an internet connection by removing power to the router and reconnect the power supply after a few seconds. However, this process is very annoying that the router then takes about 3 minutes to make an internet connection. I found that my IP (before the reset of the router) on my desktop connected cable (that has the problem) has been 169.254.16.60. I understand that it is the beach allocated to private networks. I tried all the suggestions including reset winsock, TCP/IP reloading, loaded the latest drivers for NETWORK card and disable my firewall (Outpost). My PC is permanently set to get an IP by DHCP. It lasts for almost a year now and I think I've tried everything. I don't want to reload XP. I suspect that this has started happening after I deleted a scanning program of free registry that I had downloaded from net ther. I have just run Microsoft Safety Scanner and it has reported, no spyware, malware or viruses. My AVG virus program and is up-to-date.
Anyone has any suggestions please. I'm not an expert by any means think (!) I understand what I'm doing!
It might actually be your 'firewall' (Outpost)... that is causing your problem!
(What "adversarial"... with an integrated XP! Even if you say that it (XP) has been disabled! Not COMPLETELY allowing your router working properly, because it is "in conflict" with that, too!)
Turn it off (Outpost)... means that the software application still in your computer and always 'in conlfict"with the XP firewall.
In regard to the average of your software antivirus, crikey, why not OPT for the Microsoft Security Essentials?
Yes, I did.
It's free, as long as the OS is legitimate, and, as they say,... yours is!
SET all SETTINGS... REMOVE, and everything is DONE (by the 'set up' scheduling)... for you.
(By the way, it uses AS it's very own firewall (firewall Defender)... or XP.) "They are much safer to use.)
Download it, it's ready to install, once you remove moy.
Update as soon as you have it installed, and properly "standing upward", nothing could be easier.
As for your router, I suggest you contact your ISP provider.
To help RESET your router once again correctly!
And, oh, one last thing... Stop your 'DIY '.
('Tinkering' would be used to do any bad problem much worse than it really is! By your own admission, you have done enough of that! Get it all right, even once, then leave well alone.)

When I'm online through the icon help & Support, still cannot access all the other icons; needs access to sites through links.
First of all, there is problem when I played the game on 'brightness (MySpace link); PC seems to crash and the problem has continued since then.
I have no idea what to do and I'm a bit of a novice. In addition, have physical difficulties which slows me down or interferes with the ability to work through problems.
Applications and links of Facebook can be very dangerous. Please start with the basics to ensure that you are working from a clean base. You will need to obtain the tools of a different, known-clean computer with access to the Internet and put them on a USB stick to transfer to the affected machine.
If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible, have all your data backed up before taking the machine into a shop.

I recently formatted my computer windows laptop. I'm using Windows 7 Home Basic Edition. After a day or two, I am unable to access the internet even if I am connected to the router. I even tried to access Internet through my cell phone using a hotspot. It too its display "NO Internet access. There is no problem with the router or my cell like everybody else uses it and its works very well. So I tried to system restore to a point where I knew I was able to use the Internet. And here it does not work... But even once after the windows update it stopped working. Again, I must use the system restore to make it work.
I can't find the source of this problem? Because of the windows update or something else?
The KB2705219 update could be the cause and uninstall that solved the problem for some users.
To uninstall an update - control panel, programs & features, [left side of the window] see installed updates. Wait until the system has finished the research for the list of updates. Select update required, then right click and Uninstall.
In another thread [my computer today installed windows 7 updates, but my internet has been lost.] But the network is visible. [what caused this?] a user has identified this notice - McAfee
While it remains that uninstall the Win7 update than kb2705219 solved the problem for at least two users, you should consider the McAfee fix. At least two users had also reported having removed then reinstalled McAfee earlier in the day and their systems have increased back & run correctly afterwards.
I had to run the MCPRT deletion a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat
I've seen quite a few threads of not being able to connect to internet when connected to the VPN. I tried to follow but have not be able to follow. I connect to the VPN via IE (that is connected by using Check Point). How can I go about it?
That's the problem of split tunnel. In general, the VPN tunnel can be configured on the client side (as the native client VPN PPTP in Windows for example) or side Server (like OpenVPN for example) to force all traffic through the VPN tunnel or not. If all the traffic is forced through the VPN tunnel, which is what your description, internet access is controlled by the VPN server. It is a safety precaution to isolate the network side server from your local network.
I would check with your network/VPN to help admins simply because may fall you on a server-side config that may or may not be changed according to their network security protocols.
Hello;I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I used to share Internet to my laptop via a virtual WiFi router with the following command.netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid = MySSID key = My8DigitKeynetsh wlan start hostednetwork
then share the connection from the control panel > network and Internet > network connections > right button connected Modem > Internet sharing connected the modem to connect to the network wireless 2 (Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter)For somedays, it worked well. But now it is not. Now, it starts the virtual router and I can connect my device (phone), but can not browse the internet from the phone.
In my short experience using hostednetwork wireless you need not to use ICS, which I believe you are trying to use. Just Setup and start hostednetwork function manually or with a third party app such as Connectify and Virtual Router and connect your wireless device, IE. iPhone or iPod Touch, or whatever.
I recently changed my data on my unit plan, but after I did it I realized that my WiFi is not working. My wifi connection is fully connected (and my data are disabled), but it won't work at all.
If I have my data enabled as well as my wifi then how can I know that I am not only my data plan. I would avoid a large beak.
If you want to be sure that you only use wifi data, then on manage the connection you can turn off your Mobile network. But you have to turn on your data Services, allowing data packets to enter your device With Data Service Off in your device, you can use these data services.

Hello, I recently bought a Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with SpeedBooster model WUSB54GSC to go with my Wireless-G Broadband Router model WRT54G2 and I can't access the internet. The laptop tells me I am connected and that force is Excellent, but when I open my browser, I can't access any site at all. When I try to add the laptop to my network magic on my computer, it tells me that it cannot connect with the laptop. My Nintendo Wii and Itouch work perfectly with the router so I think it's my browser settings, but I can't understand it. Thank you!
Hey, thanks for trying to help out. It turns out that my firewall did not allow the laptop to access the internet. I made a few adjustments on my firewall settings and it all worked out great.
Original title: HotSpot WiFi Windows 7
I have a LAN connection and connect to the internet via an address proxy and port on my Windows 7 PC. I want my laptop to a Wi - Fi hotspot so that I can connect with internet on my phone android too.
Earlier, when I was not using proxy, I used the following command
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid =
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
netsh wlan hostednetwork stop
Now when I use the proxy, and I use these commands, with success, he created the hotspot and also my phone connects as usual, but it does not load a Web page.
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community. According to my research Internet on android apps may not work if the proxy is enabled.
