that I can do to my computer that will help me to allow my Bank to pull up and crashes me not?

OT:banking online.

Hi Pam lay.

1. what operating system is installed on the computer?
2. what web browser do you use to access the banking Web site?
3. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

If you use Internet Explorer, then I suggest you to try the steps from the following link:

Can't access some Web sites in Internet Explorer
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/967897

Note: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings.

I can't to any microsoft Web site.

Sounds like a DNS issue.   Use nslookup to check.   Use ping n 1 w 1 to attempt to cache a browser search.  Use ipconfig/displaydns to check if the search is cached.   A problem with many Microsoft research is that they have several alias and have very short life values.   It is very difficult to take any advantage of cached searches.  An alternative is to substitute the search using your HOSTS file, but then the IP addresses of host Microsoft tend to be transitory.  In fact, this point suggests something to check first: make sure that there are no replacement of microsoft in your HOSTS file.   Remove them and do an ipconfig/flushdns, if there is.   ; )

  • Cannot access previously accessible Web site

I'm unable to connect to a Web site that I have already connect to a maximum until 3 days ago. Now, I receive the following message:

    The connection has expired

The server to www.risingpenny.com takes too long to respond.

The site may be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

This is the only site that I have problems with, and the site is still running, as I received an email from them yesterday. The site in question is risingpenny.com. I tried to connect to it on other computers in my house where maybe I changed the settings on my computer by mistake, but still no luck.  I have Windows 7 and my computer is a Dell Inspiron. If anyone can help me or has experienced the same problem I would appreciate any information available.

    Thank you

Hi Kimberly, I see this is your first post here. Welcome to our community!

Regarding your concern, if the site fails to load on all your computers, you can be sure that it is not a problem with all your computers.  Instead the Web site itself may be the problem.

You are unable to access the site right now?  I can reach it now (09:45 Central time).

  • Cannot access the external Web site

Recently, our site is accessible outside of our network. Can access the House, phone etc but not at work. I am just welcomed with "cannot display page" site is hosted by an external company. We run server 2008r2 in an environment terminal server. I tried to disable the antivirus, firewall and could not see anything on the cyberoam firewall that might prevent the site to connect, even if I did have a lot of experience with the cyberoam. I can't ping on the website of the local computer or servers. Hope someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

Thank you, its all right, was able to solve the problem. I discovered that it was a DNS problem. Created a new record and the site is now accessible.

  • Adobe flash player 11.0 blocks access to the Web site home pages

Why is Adobe flash player 11.0, allowed to block access to the Web site home pages, until their trash is installed?  They should be prosecuted for punishment of the loss of time by Internet users, who spend countless hours trying to fix their garbage, which takes control of the web and blocks PCs access to their program settings, unless it is done according to their specific updates. N ' ILS OWN INTERNET and everything on it, or what?

Are you sure he blocked it, or the web page requires Flash Player to see this?

Most web pages require an element of Adobe Flash Player.

First of all, try to enable Active Scripting in the areas of Sites Internet Options, security settings, trust.

You should also add a corrupted on.

    Click Start, type: Internet Options

    Press enter

    Select the "Advanced" tab

Under reset Internet Explorer settings, click "reset".

    Hi Marystack,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem you are trying to access some government site but get message that it uses a protocol not supported. This question might be if you are connected to a network domain, or there is no restrictions applied to surf these sites.

If you use Internet Explorer and cannot open certain websites then, there may be a chance that the site is not compatible with Internet Explorer. So, I suggest to open these websites in compatibility view and see if it helps.

    • Open Internet Explorer.

    • Open Web site which is getting blocked.

    • To open the toolbar, press the alt key pressed .

    • Now, click on Tools.

    • You will see the name of the Web site under Add this Web site, to do this, click Add to add this Web site.

    • Close the window and restart your computer.

Try it out below mentioned methods and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

    Method 1

If the problem persists, try to trust these websites by following the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Open the trusted sites

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Press the Alt key to display the Tools menu.
    3. In the menu, click Tools.
    4. Now, click on Internet Options.
    5. Click on Security tab.

    Add the trust Web site

  • Winner 8.1 troubleshooting LAN access internet - some Web sites won't open

    Hello

I just installed Win 8.1 pro on a new pc. I have difficulties to access the internet with a browser and activate Windows. I connected via LAN to a switch that another PC with Windows 8.1 is also linked and this pc works fine with good bandwidth.

The PC with a problem was IE and chrome installed. In both browsers, I can open the site www.google.com and www.facebook.com. Another site, I tried does not open and I get the error that the site cannot be opened (for example, www.speedtest,net. When I click the diagnose, I get the result found no error.

I can access network resources in the home such as file shares. I see that the router find the PC and gave it a unique IP address. It lists also under the name I gave the machine during the installation of the operating system.  I can ping other devices in the House as well.

Now I'm not sure how to continue to fix these errors. Any suggestions?

  • How can I force Firefox to access an external web site rather than the site corresponding to the cache on my computer?

A web site that I regularly access using Firefox has been updated in the last 24 hours. I make Firefox to access the external site updates rather than site updates apparently stored on my memory cache?

You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)
