  your assets.index is maybe corrupted

  Try this:

  Quit Momentics

  go into your file system project and delete assets/.assets.index

  reopen Momentics

  do a refresh

  and clean up the project

  I've been away from RoboHelp for a while, but now I'm working with a new installation of version 7 with an old project (upgrade RH6). I have a problem, adding images to my subjects. Normally what I do is press CTRL + G to display the image properties dialog box, look for the JPG image to add (the path is placed in the name of the Image: field and a preview of my image is displayed), press OK and voila! The image appears in my account. Now, I can browse and select the name of the image, but the preview and image name fields are not updated. Pressing OK does not add the image to my folder. If something has changed in version 7?

I thought that maybe it's my image and the layer of transparency used to make a ragged edge frame so I went back to photoshop and drag on one layer transparent. NO change in the placement of the image. I went back to the PS and the flattened file. No change in the image. So now it's the transparency of drawing files already on the bottom. How do I get the images to place on the bottom in their solid colors and do not show under the bottom lining through them?

  Check your layers panel. Looks like you place the PSD files on a layer below that your transparency (proliferation) of objects. Another possibility is that the layer on the PSD is has its own transparency. Click on the small circle to the right of the layer name in the layers panel, hen watch the transparency Panel.

  Gilad is a good question. The option you describe is available in Acrobat XI. In Acrobat X, you can place an image by selecting tools > content > modify object and right click on the page. Select Image of Place in the context menu, and then select the image that you want to add the PDF file.

• Cannot add a network printer

  I have a problem with the printer! I have a network printer connected to my router via ethernet. I use the printer via wifi of two macbooks.

  I got an error 'printer not connected' and have already tried the following several times:

  • reset the router
  • restarted the printer
  • Reset my printing system
  • renamed the folder library/printers
  • reinstalled my driver of Canon software
  • fact a boot secured my MacBook, then a normal departure

  When I try to add the printer again (of course it was removed by rebooting) I don't see anything via Bonjour (in the default tab). The printer has a valid address (via DHCP) and I can ping to my macbook. I also tried to add the printer through the address IP (IPP) - it does not print.

  I get all printing stations I can find no joy... help please!

  This morning, I tried to add a printer, and - as the magic - my printer appears in the window by default. Quickly, I added, print a test page, and then other PDF via Preview. Awesome! Then I tried to print a poster with Acrobat Reader, and I'm back for the message "printer not connected" that marked the beginning of my problems a week ago. Again, I have reset the printing system, even reinstalled two versions (more recent and earlier) drivers. I can ping the printer, but cannot add via IP either.

  Now solved

  Had to manually assign an IP address in the same subnet (which had already been done), and then restart the WMS service, then try and add it again. Connection is established and the progress indicator has increased. Several times he has failed when even at 40%-60% and said the authentication has failed.   Well, Add is the option on the import window that initially allows you to add images in the Lightroom Catalog. Once you are done with this process, then you can simply drag your images in the folder collection where you want to add and start editing more far.

  Absolutely, do not start with a PDF file. It is quite unsuitable for this type of installation. Use a graphical tool, preferably one designed for floor plans.
