  After upgrading to windows 7 Home premium 64 bit vista family premium 64-bit, I expected to be able to connect my EPSON Stylus D68 printer on my laptop and leave immediately. However, when I tried to do this installation constantly failed.  Therefore, I went to the manual add the printer option in the menu devices and printers. However I met this error message: "Windows cannot add a printer. The local print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spoiler or restart the machine,"after reviewing the existing forums on the issue, I tried to restart the services option. However, the restart option has been obscured and when I just tried to start then I met an other error message: "windows could not start the spooler on the local computer service, error 1053: service has failed to demand launch or control in a timely. more when I click Properties to the spooler in the description it says failure to read the description. error code: 1813. This is all very frustrating for someone who just wants to add a printer to his laptop computer. can someone please? because I am all of these ideas.

  Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not not upgrade (or uninstalling) itself. The 'leftovers' Norton may be causing the problem. Roll up your sleeves & cross your fingers...

  ACTIONS

  8B. do a right-click on the file downloaded in # 8 a above (that is, ie8 - rereg.zip) and EXTRACT its contents to the desktop. This will create a new folder on your desktop.

  8. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the task bar), open the new folder created in # 8 b above & double-click on the script (i.e., ie8 - rereg.cmd) to run the command, then restart again.

  9. open Internet Explorer (only!) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 [ignore the warnings of DO NOT APPLY and the section will APPLY to] & run the difficulty.

  Note => for best results, check the option Remove personal settings .

  10 a. open Internet Explorer (only!) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910336 [ignore the title & symptoms].

  10 b. do disappear/close the window pop up "Automated troubleshooting"! -then...

  There are three services that are important to check, download and install the updates. These services are Background Intelligent of cryptographic services service and the Windows update Service. These should be in the started state and currently running on the computer so that the computer connects to Windows Update Server, check the update that corresponds to the computer, and then download them accordingly.

  Follow the steps in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2730071 and make sure that these services are started on the computer. If they are, then if he please stop and then restart the services. Restart the computer once that change in services.

• Publish the Services 'forget' what has / has not been published

  It's a problem recently for me (August 2016). I noticed that in all of my files to publish Services, be it a published smart folder or a folder published regularly, several times a week when I go to check to see if all the new images should be updated, I noticed that there is no announcement of new images or update of images to delete images or images that have been published. Each image in this folder simply appears that it is the first time that it is configured to be published. In other words, the Publish button is there, but it seems that nothing has been previously published. Although it includes. Maybe not later than the day before.

  I should add that these published folders are simply to output to a corresponding local folder on my hard drive, and not a service like Facebook or Flickr. Just export from local hard drive.

  When I click on the button publish, LR he thinks for a minute and I see the update status bar Collections published in the upper left corner. After a few seconds, what "complete", but nothing in this collection record seems to have changed as far as LR is concerned. There is still no indication that something has been published or not and the remains of Publish button, highlighted as if nothing happened.

  Also, if I drag an image in a non-puce published folder either manually add attributes to a new photo that would force the latter appears in a published smart folder, and then select published the folder, there is nothing to indicate that a new image is to be published. I can scroll and find the new image, but it is not marked to be released. As far as LR is concerned, the entire folder is still waiting to be published for the first time.

  Another experimentation reveals that, when I click on publish, the image being added just * is * exported in the correct folder on my local hard drive. That's fine, but basically now my solution is to go through all my files of publication services and click on publish on each one because LR doesn't tell me if something needs to be updated or not. I just publish everything, as if it were the first time. Although not exactly, because only it does not export images for photos that are already in the files to my hard drive, because he knows that those have been exported. It just seems to be to keep it a secret from me when I'm looking in a published folder.

  There was a bug reported for an earlier version of LR6/CC2015 saying that if the "delete person Info" option has been enabled then immediately after a publish operation has been completed the photos changed to return to the 'change Photos to republish' when you use the Service to publish hard drive.

  I used the Service to post to Facebook and Flickr for a couple of week, and now it suddenly begins to refuse to publish. Just the message "could not authenticate. Of course, I've not changed any user and passwords to both services.
