  What are your settings of GPU acceleration?  As I understand it, the Alt right click size and hardness adjust needs acceleration GPU to be turned on, but I have a feeling Brush hardness is always set to easy when using fluidity.  You can still see the quick mask as representation of the soft brush when Alt right click, but you can't change the hardness.

  Is that you can change the brush size and pressure (framed in red in my screenshot) Alt right click drag left and right changes size and down to pressure changes, and you can see what is happening in real-time by looking at the sign on the right.  It works independently of your acceleration GPU (IME) settings, but you don't get the effect of soft red quick mask.

  

  Does this fit with what you see, or you are not able to change things at all?  If not, then I've always found that fluidity consumes system resources, if you could check the Task Manager > Performance tab to see what kind of RAM and CPU use is using the fluidity.  That's what I see after direction the lens above with a big brush continuously for 10 seconds.  Note This is on a fairly quick NLE System.

  I'm going through course Illustrator CC Deke McClelland and a video on the creation and copy of work plans, he uses the tool of the artboard to create a large body of work on top of existing work plans and then shows how to select work plans below by alt-clicking (opt-clicking on Mac) with the work plan on the tool you want to select.

  I tried this exactly like in the video, and although my pointer in the same spinner of Demont, it does not select the below work plans. What happens if it's that if I move my mouse pointer so that a smart guide appears, then alt-click, a new workplan is created. I also note that if I alt-click and drag, a new workplan is created.

  So what is really going on here? Are you supposed to be able to select under other work plans, work plans by alt-click with the tool of work plan? Of course, it works for Deke in the video, but not for me. And why smart alt-click on a guide work plan tool creates a new work plan, while nowhere else alt-click is not?

  I must say that I find it very difficult to determine the intended behavior in many areas of the Illustrator.   This should be easy... I'm trying to implement the living corners on a rectangle shape. Specifically, I'm trying to...

  1. View the range of corners by double clicking on the widget.
  2. Change the type of corner in alt-click on the widget.

  In both cases (when I double click on the widget or alt + click on it) it simply sets the radius of rounding. He cannot make the changes described in the tutorial video (CC Illustrator Live Corners). I realize I can work around the problem by working directly with the Palette of corners (by clicking on the link of the main toolbar). It's just that I love shortcuts and they don't seem to work!

  I found the problem.

  When you run a licensed version of Teamviewer 9 (v9.0.32494), Adobe Illustrator don't like ALT + click or double-clicks to living corners. When I stop 9 Teamviewer, it starts working again. When I start it, I stop working again. It is reproducible, so I'll put it down, as the diagnosis.

  In summary, if your corners to live responds more to ALT + CLICK or double clicks, tries to find a version of Teamviewer on your machine and disable it while you work.

  I just upgraded to Firefox on Windows 13.0 and noticed that alt-click does fire the function "save target as." This should now be configured by the user?

  Hey mrgou, this feature has been disabled by default in firefox 13 - view back to the, enter Subject: config in the address bar, search for the preference named browser.altClickSave and toggle true by double clicking on it.

  I have a folder of photos that I opened to see several thumbnails. I can left click on a picture and it will open full screen. Then I left click on this image and the next should show but nothing happens. I can use the keyboard arrows to move to the next photo, but I can't use the mouse. The left click works for everything I use it for. I've used regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll and he said DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shimgvw.dll succeeded. This does not solve the problem.   What probably happened is that the selection in the timeline panel button has been clicked inadvertently. This option is enabled by default, and when it is, it maintains the behavior you expect: clips containing audio and video act as a single unit, when you click on them in a sequence. With this disabled button and therefore linked selection disabled, each clip component acts as an independent entity and does not take into account the bound State. This is similar to what happens when you hold down the ALT key and click a clip when linked selection is active. Basically, this button is a toggle and Alt gives you the opposite of whatever state you are in.

  With the help of PP CC 2014 on a machine Windows 8.

  For some reason, in my sequences, when I select a video clip, the linked audio clip is not get selected. However, if I alt-click on it, the audio get selected. It is the opposite of the expected behavior.

  I went in the keyboard shortcuts and couldn't find a way to reverse the trend.

  Any thoughts?
